Anyone with a stone or so to lose? Fancy buddying up?

I think i would be better if i had someone i didn't want to let down!
hopped on the scales this morning and 10st1lb dead. I was about 9 stone last summer and want to get back down there! Currently struggling to get back below ten i keep stalling (and eating biblical quantities of pitta and hummus and galaxy bars... not at the same time)

I have a beach holiday coming up in 10 weeks so a few pounds gone by then would be great!!
Anyone up for buddying up with a food dairy and telling me off?

Hi

so far today I had:-

Nutella on soya and whatever bread
1 pack salt and vinegar chipsticks
1 light rich tea biscuit
1 x choc chip tracker bar
quarter pack of Sainsbos Mushroom fresh pasta things with butter and a tiny bit of grated cheese
salad to go with above - lettuce mixed leaves, 3 cherry tomatoes, small bit cucumber, 1 avocado
3-4 large cups of tea
1 camomile tea
2 glasses water

i have the remains of the salad for lunch tomorrow and will make some tiny shell pasta to go with it, use feta cheese and get some beetroot and radishes for it too.

Hello! Had a sunny BBQ yest and managed to stay of the wine and just stick to grilled chicken and veg! Yay
Today had yog and fruit
Chicken grilled and salad
Fish cakes for dinner
I'm bloddy hungry Again though!

SuperFlyHigh · 09/08/2015 15:34

Trying - do you mean to say you are planning on eating fishcakes for dinner?!

I know what you mean - went shopping earlier and now I am craving cake/chocolate etc - thank goodness I don't really want to drive/walk up there again.

I do have a lovely pot of hummus in the fridge that's just calling my name.

another thing that's a bloody temptation for me - moved jobs 2.5 months ago and whereas before you had to walk 3-5 minutes to a shop/supermarket there's a bloody Co-Op local just across the road from my office - all too easy to skip across there. and in reception they sell mini choc bars/sweets for charity.

Tryingno1 · 09/08/2015 16:39

Oh the Choc cake in coop is to die for! Stay away from it

Haha, yes fishcakes!
Just had a lattee and cereal bar as was about to eat my own arm!

Hello everyone, bad news put on a lb so grand total is now 10st 9lb and got a wedding to go to next fri!!!! So been good today
Breakfast nutribullet shake of almond milk, banana, half avocado, cashew nuts and 2 tbsp of porridge oats. Keeps me full till lunch
Lunch 2 x crackers with butter and low fat cheese. Low fat yoghurt.
Dinner roasted peppers; tin of tuna flakes with 1tbsp of mayonnaise and sweetcorn. Skinny cow ice cream lolly.
Snack 1 latte.
Think I have been good today. Won't eat anymore as strangely feel quite full as probably not been snacking. Really enjoying the nutribullet shakes. Had no ibs since starting them last week which is a huge bonus!

Tryingno1 · 09/08/2015 17:50

I find tuna is sooo filling and really keeps me going..sure u will loose the extra bit quickly if u stick at it..

I'm going for a glass of wine Confused but only one!!!

SuperFlyHigh · 09/08/2015 18:00

Trying I like the luxury potato salad and scotch eggs in Co-op for lunch… Very interesting what you say about tuna being filling. A favourite quick meal is conchiegle (shell) pasta, cheese sauce, tuna and half tin tomatoes. but not very slimming re the cheese sauce!

Drexel that's good re the nutribullet. the only thing I'd say is the lunch isn't very much to eat unless you add maybe fruit.

bberry · 09/08/2015 19:29

Well... Today was a right off too

Small Cooked breakfast at wedding hotel
1/2 twirl in car home
Small Steak/chips/peppercorn sauce and medium eaton mess
Mcdonaldschick sandwichmeal!!!!

What a write off weekend... But 5 days to make up the over eating so would be v happy with a b loss this week (on Friday)

Salads and water are my allies this week!

TiredAssShowgirl · 10/08/2015 09:24

Morning all, happy Monday! How are we all doing? Nice to see you back Arch.

I've had a good weekend (after the train wreck that was Friday with that hangover! ) but still up - was 9 5 on Fri and Sat and 9 6 today - which i wasn't expecting as this weekend has been very good, under 1200 both days.

Feel incredibly bloated and stuffy though so that is probably why - although no idea why I'm bloated! I very rarely do and nothing has really changed. V odd. But should rectify soon!

Major NSV on Sunday, went shopping to buy DH shoes and still we ended up in Primark, tried a load of stuff on which usually leads to a minor meltdown and an argument as we're both pissy we've been in primark an hour, but everything looked fine, rather than like it was stretched over a walrus!!!

And we grabbed some food, and instead of costa cake or similar, we found this super cute pita place which was immense - definitely got my 5 a day with that Smile

Made a veggie packed turkey curry for dinner which was awesome and was supposed to also be lunch.... but is sat in my fridge at home, while I'm in the office Blush i do this every time! Porridge for lunch for me!

PointyBirds · 10/08/2015 10:38

Well done on the NSV Tired. I'm holding off a big shopping trip til I hit 9 and a half, but I'm really looking forward to that feeling of trying on clothes and quite liking what I see, rather than hating everything and trying on stuff I think should fit but actually is a size too small then I'm all hot and sweaty struggling into stuff and I get cross and give up on ever buying new clothes because I hate it all even though I still hate all my knackered old clothes and need new ones...

I don't generally like clothes shopping... Grin

SuperFlyHigh · 10/08/2015 11:41

bberry · 10/08/2015 17:41

Tryingno1 · 10/08/2015 20:00

Are u full after ur soup??!
I had a few spoons of DH dinner as was really hungry, now am annoyed Angry
How much weight do u guys loose a week?

MegBusset · 10/08/2015 21:16

I have been losing about 1lb a week, seem to go up before going down sometimes!

9st 5.75lb today, random overnight weight gain again, tsk. Been good today, pasta with tomato sauce and lots of veg for dinner, and just a small glass of wine :)

bberry · 10/08/2015 22:28

Full? Hmmm.... Compared to a plate full of steak, chips and peppercorn sauce no, but full enough and my end goal is more important than short term fullness (at the moment) I think you have to accept that hungry is a good thing... To a certain extent, it's your body using your fat stores!!

I am 9"7.5" and lose 1-2lb a week

And I only weigh myself once a week, I think anymore can just be water retention etc and can be very demotivaing

bberry · 11/08/2015 07:07

Hungry... Actually, a friend of mine did slimming world and went from a 16 to an 8 and says she can't believe how much she can eat! She still eats/cooks the slimming world way and has been v slim for at least 5 years so I guess full is possible I just prefer to have small portions of whatever I fancy....

KillashandraRee · 11/08/2015 08:20

I think I might have found a flaw in my diet so far! apart from the wine

Do you plan your meals at the beginning of the day? I am only thinking about what to cook at dinner time and often don't have enough calories left for what I want to cook/ can cook with what's left in the cupboard. I'm going to try to plan my meals so dinner calories are already calculated so I know what I've got left for lunch and breakfast...will see how I get on!

Walked dog this morning and had a small glass of juice and a cup of tea so far. Off to a good start Smile

I'm aiming to get back to 10st this week and next week to get to 9st something....

MegBusset · 11/08/2015 10:22

Killa that's what I do... put dinner in before I have anything else! Actually I meal plan a week ahead (have done for years, it really helps keep my shopping bills down and means I don't have to keep running to the supermarket for stuff), I have been known to log my meals on mfp a couple of days in advance...

bberry · 11/08/2015 13:10

Sometimes yes, sometimes no...

I mostly adapt as the day unfolds.. Been to softplay this morn and I would usually have a cheesy tuna panini (!) but resisted so had leftover (ok stolen) cheese balls, 1/4 ham sandwich from the kids and 2 coffees... Patting myself on the back!!! Yey!!!

NotdeadyetBOING · 11/08/2015 14:20

Hi guys - can I join? Another one who wants to lose a stone or so. Just under 10 stone and want to be just under 9 (would take 9 on the nail, frankly….). I find I can be really good for a few days, but then splurge on white bread which I love like nothing else on earth. Need to keep focusing on protein to make sure I sate my appetite. Have gone for long walk already today and WILL go to gym tonight.

bberry · 11/08/2015 14:53

Hi not deadly, welcome.... I lurve bread too!!!! Everything in moderation .....

Tryingno1 · 11/08/2015 15:29

Hi not dead, please join! I find protein keeps me full! Tuna and boiled eggs are the most filling for me (not eggs any other way only boiled?! How weird is that!)

IM another nutribullet user so had
Kale bannaa avacado Almon milk and cocoa powder smoothie yum yum

Salmon and salad for lunch

Tonight I have home made marinated chicken kebabs and veg

Going to weigh tmrw!
I plan my food in advance ow when I'm starving and nothing healthy in fridge or a plan-I'll reach for my DH biscuits ! My issue is I get mega irritable when hungry and when I need to eat I have to eat that second! It's hard getting my appetite smaller !
