Anyone else need to lose weight for their wedding?

I need to lose at least 2 stone by June.

Tbh I haven't done too bad over Christmas and haven't gained afaik? avoided scales.

I'm 5ft 8 and weigh just over 13 stone. Am a size 14. My stomach is my worst area, legs and arms are fine as are boobs.

I only want to get to a size 12 as don't look so good as a 10. I used to be really skinny when younger and hated it.

Anyone else need to lose weight for their wedding? I'm not even looking at dresses yet until I lose some.

Dp is low carbing and he's lost loads of weight. I was low carbing and now have upped mine a bit. But I don't eat as many potatoes or bread.

I haven't been exercising as been bad and off work but went down the allotment today and did a good bit of lifting. Am going to tango class tonight, see how I fair?

I'm back at work tomorrow. I'll be on the go a lot so should burn some calories?

Oh god, what have I done? My trainer from bootcamp has set up a team for Total Warrior, a hideous 12km mud run/obstacle course NOT for the faint hearted and I just signed up. Gulp.

It's the weekend after we get back from Turkey in September so I have between then and now to seriously train and shift some weight. £55 entry fee too, that'll sting if I don't end up doing it Shock

Well we have dress, or should I say I have.

Whoop! Whoop!

Got on the bus, went for lunch and a walk till shop opened. Tried it on, the one I went back for and then tried the other white one I'd never bothered with on our first visit.

It fit li,e a glove. No alterations . No panic to find a seamstress. It just fits. I don't have to lose a mountain of weight and if my stomach is a bit bloated on the day which it probably will be it will be just fine.

I love it

I'm so excited.

We've paid our deposit.

This wedding is happening folks . I've got a big cheesy grin on my face.

Oh and if I tell you what it cost I'd have to kill you ;-)

Ahh Dowser that's brilliant news! We need a picture as soon as possible!

Just tried it on again and actually it could do with a bit hacking off the bottom and I still think I should get bust pads removed.

They must be adding a good half inch to an inch of an already generous bust :-(

Not really what I need on my wedding day.

Now I'm thinking hair and make up. I wasn't going to bother but I'm turning into bridezilla now and longish blonde hair isn't doing it justice. What if it's windy on the beach

Aaaargh!

Plus with a tan I need my face sorting out. I've got a very brown nose and brown chin, white panda eyes

Aaaargh!

Why didn't I just ask everyone including me to turn up in shorts and t shirts!
