Im 5ft 7inch and weigh 11.7 stone i really think i need to get down to 10.7 i think to be a healthy bmi. Thinking of giving myself till april 1st to do it by. Anyone else want to join me?

First weigh in this morning, and 2lb down! Hurray! Been doing mfp and pretty much sticking to my allowance, but two meals out planned this weekend so need to be careful...

No excercise as yet but planning shred this evening.
Calories 790 so far with 500 for dinner. = 1290, another good day.

Scales look to be another pound lighter ( old fashioned scales so difficult to tell) certainly going the right way.

Cutting out the wine knocks 600 calories a week off easily so it should shift really.

hello :)

I'm 70kg (around 11 stone) too and want to get down to 63/64kg )10 stone).

Started at 70kg on Sunday. Cut out crisps, bread and pasta/pizza and am logging food on mfp and weighed 67.8kg today so I'm getting there. I always find the first bit comes off fairly easily but getting down from 67 to 64 I will find virtually impossible!

Listen to this...my (annoying) DH has joined me on the low carb ways this week, and stopped drinking too. On Saturday he did a starting weigh in and was 85 kilos. He weighed himself this morning and was 80... SO unfair

Its ok to have a 'day off' isnt it??

I went for lunch with a friend today- had linguine with crab/scallops/prwans etc and finished it off with chocolate fondant and ice cream.

Now I feel guilty.

Also havent done any Shred.

will do tomorrow though.

Shred is an excercise program...that works!!! Google before and after.

1600 calories today...another good day, especially as we went to friends who had bowls of crisps ect out.

I'm feeling less hungry now which is great.

No excercise today but I promise to do some tomorrow.

OK so bit of a mixed day here today.

Good - joined LA Fitness and went to a Body Balance class which I really enjoyed.

Bad - then went to inlaws and they had loads of stuff around still from Christmas. SO I had 2 pieces of chocolate covered fudge, a chocolate truffle, a choc biscuit and fish and peas from the chippy for my tea.

Then I've had a movie night with the kids and had 2 gingerbread star thingies that we decorated ourselves.

So back on it tomorrow I think..... ooops.

Starting tomorrow though! I don't drink but eat lots of choclates and unhealthy food.

I'm 5ft 6 and weigh 10st 10. Losing a stone would be perfect.

I'm doing a marathon (power walk) in June so need to get back training too.

Am a bit late but could I join too . Horrific moment on the scales thus morning so need to get my arse in gear . I'm 5ft 6 and 11st 7 . Would love to get as close to 10st as possible .
Going to cut out wine Shock and reduce portion sizes . Like the idea of a smaller bowl for breakfast .
As everyone else says its the evening when I struggle and head for the fridge .

Well my big first week weight loss - 7lbs! It was really over 9 days as I started last Monday but definitely good encouragement Smile

Well done on the weight loss everyone.

I lost another 2lb this morning so 7lb in total. Am feeling better and my skin is glowing.

Can't wait until I can get all my thin clothes out and try them on excitedly. Love that part of losing weight - looking good in everything!

Well done to all the losers this week some of you are doing so well. Ye will have the stone gone in no time.

I lost 1.25 pounds so a loss but not great for first week. Exercise was good but eating not so great finding it hard to break my bad habits. Hopefully next week will be better.
