Lost 4lb so far so down to 10st6lb on the horrid new scales. Maybe they are faulty.

No weight loss this week but been very tired as baby isn't sleeping due to a cold so haven't done any 'shredding' & been forced to eat cake for energy Wink
8lb down since the new year & 6lb to go, obviously not going to happen by our holiday in 8 days so the new target is my birthday at the beginning of May

Oh that's so depressing story, I'd hate that !.
Slow and steady here - another 1 lb off this week, so down to 10st 11lb. That's 6 lb since mid Feb, which I guess isn't bad, just has felt quite slow (perhaps that's because I'm not actually dieting as such, just generically cutting back and not snacking, so actually prob quite good really ?!?!?)

Actually only got 1 lb to go to target weight, but might do a couple extra as a 'buffer'.

Sorry to those who have put on, myfirst - it's depressing isn't it, but I keep telling myself that it's the long term loss rather than actual week by week that matters….

Oh dear, ive just bought new scales as mine were so old and i weigh 10st 10 instead of 10.3 on the old ones! So the few pounds i had lost are now back on.
I am aiming for 9st 3 by July and am going to weigh on saturdays. So I still have 1 and a half stone to lose despite doing 1000 cala a day for 2 weeks. Oh well never mind .

Oh dear. 11'2 today - increased by 1lb. Will keep at it. Well done everyone else.

Hi mrspmt

It wasn't said in a nice tone if you get me and I'd never dream of saying to her wow u put on weight. Can't see any calculator maybe coz I'm on the phone. I'm in the healthy vim range and even at my target I'll still be in it and no where close to underweight.or very skinny Def not a word I'd ever associate with me!
But u go girl with ur compliments

Hi twobambinos I've been getting 'skinny' comments too, which I'm delighted with tbh Grin, I'm not actually skinny though.

As motivation and to give myself a pat on the back I checked my weight/height on this which compares your weight/height to averages of different countries. I have a lower BMI than 74% of females my age in the UK.

I remember checking it in the past after seeing it linked on MN and I was not pleased about my stats (when I was overweight).

Isn't it a glorious day out there today. Hope everyone doing well

Rufflingfeathers I used to weigh everyday but got a bit obsessed so now I just try for every other day or twice three times a week.

Hey all - how is everyone doing?
I've made the mistake of weighing myself too often this week. Most days, to be honest, and I wish I didn't !! Is everyone else v.disciplined about only doing it once a week? can't bear the suspense….!!

I did think I would get down to about 8st4lb- but I think that will be too much of a drastic loss so ill go for 8st 10lb now and see what thats like.

Thats fab Tiredemma, well done.

Well done to others for staying on track, even small losses are good, imo.

Haven't lost any weight in past few weeks but haven't gained either, am 10st 7 and would like to get down to 10 stone.

But definitely look slimmer, still doing a lot of walking so thats helping.

Also pleased to fit in a pair of size 12 jeans from DPerkins. I know people go on about vanity sizing but I was wearing DP size 16 jeans this time last year so a 12 for me is fab Grin

Wow tiredemma! That is fantastic. What is your goal? 12lbs total would be fine for me (still has a looong way to go).

10st 12lb here, so 1 lb lost this week - quite pleased but considering how much exercise I've been doing and how careful I've been with food, it seems pretty slow going !!
Actually though, that's nearly 5 lbs in 3 weeks, which when it's added up is a fair amount !
Didn't have a great day MyFirst yesterday either, hard not to get dispirited today - just had a small pack of haribo and I'm not sure why….

Well I had an awful day today with far too much of everything. Major carb attack but have just realised is totm so that explains things. Will prob be about 7lbs heavier tomorrow but am going to get back on wagon!

Weigh in today 11'1 exactly. Only 7 more lbs to go. V pleased. Even though this thread is a bit quiet it is good motivation for me to have to post my weekly results. Hope everyone else doing well.

I've been doing a bit of 5:2 this week although prob went over a bit on the fast days. I have found it easier than calorie counting all the time breaking but will see what results are on official weigh in tomorrow. Am def being a bit more mindful of what I am eating.

Think I'll have lost a lb this week but now I'm on my period, which tends to mean I don't seem to lose anything - a bit depressing !!

Me too, got to fit into a slim fitting dress for a wedding in July. I would like to lose a stone and a half to be what I was before my youngest was born.
I have been carrying around post baby weight for 22 years! I am determined not to look frumpy at 57. Easy to look fat when you are only 5'2.
As soon as the weather improves the bike is coming out of the shed.
Ive tried lots of diets but decided to go back to calorie counting as it is more flexible. Im going to have lots of soup and drink lots of water.
For me, a real problem is my OH large appetite. We dont have children at home anymore and often eat out for lunch . Also I find it easier to diet when Im not working so thats about half the week

2lbs down this week, which I'm really pleased with. I did it via 5:2 and found it fine, much better than calorie counting every day actually. I'm going to stick with it.

Didn't eat much yesterday so 11'3 this morning. Jeans a leeetle looser (can breathe...just) which is nice. Onwards and downwards :)

Good to see some new joiners, you're all keeping me motivated.
Further 1lb off this week after starting the 30 day shred DVD a few times a week. 6lb gone since 1st Jan so slow but steady
