Thank you time that was my worry but I recognised thats where I've gone wrong in the past so I'm still on the waggon! Was supposed to weigh in this morning but I slept in and was flying so hopefully tonight maybe good news and It'll keep me going.
So is it just me that constantly wants to eat at work?

busyboysmum · 08/01/2014 14:09

11 stone 2lb this morning so have shifted what I put on over Christmas! Just got to capitalize now on this good start.

Am tracking calories with MFP, having Special K with fresh blueberries and semi skimmed milk for brekkie, usually soup with a roll for lunch and then chicken and veg for tea.

And lots of tea to drink inbetween.

Back to the school run this morning as well so that's about 3 miles of walking in total.

I'm getting in bed earlier than usual to stop snacking at night and watching The Biggest Loser USA Series 15 to inspire me!

TimeToPassGo · 08/01/2014 14:21

Well a sort of WW / FD day here. So far had toast cheese and soup plus on my second coffee. Going to have a nice pasta dinner this evening. Might nip out and get some salad and basil leaves so I can get a walk in too :)

Cakeismymaster · 08/01/2014 15:35

Well done to all the losers!
So far have had alpen no added sugar for breakfast in a small child's bowl (think weaning bowl) to keep portions down and a coffee.
Errm tea and 5 mini eggs for lunch Blush
Dinner is fish cakes and spinach

Tiredemma · 08/01/2014 16:06

I started so well but then met my friend for Coffee and had some caramel shortbread

Sad
TimeToPassGo · 08/01/2014 16:55

It's one biscuit Emma. Can you eat something sensible tonight to compensate? Or just make tomorrow a better day? No way of eating can rely on complete deprivation! Make the caramel shortbread a treat and move on :) It is not an excuse to eat a packet of caramel shortbreads! (Been there Wink )

RibenaFiend · 08/01/2014 17:25

Can I join too please? I'm 5ft 8 and 13st 8.

How the bloody hell has that even happened? Confused

Swimming. Calorie counting. Cutting out the beloved vino is my current plan. Then post skiing at the end of the month I'll up it a gear.

How did I let this happen? Hmm

RibenaFiend · 08/01/2014 17:27

Ooh! I've read about using smaller plates to control portion sizes (my DP eats like a flipping cow and never puts any weight on!)
Has anyone had any success with that too?

pegster · 08/01/2014 18:21

I too am 1lb down a week after first weigh-in, didn't really start til Sunday either (had Christmas treats to finish off) so reasonably happy to see something different on the scales

TimeToPassGo · 08/01/2014 18:41

I've heard that too Ribena and went as far as buying some salad plates as our dinner plates are enormous! As for how did you let it happen - I could ask the same question myself! Confused

Well done pegster :)

Tiredemma · 08/01/2014 18:57

KitCat26 · 08/01/2014 21:15

Can I join too please? I'm 5ft 5 and 10st 3. I'd like to be 9st 3.

I lost a lot of post baby weight (2.5st) a couple of years ago and got to my target weight... But I took my eye off the ball last year.

Diet starts tonight, no snacking! Exercise (running) starts as soon as my new sports bra arrives!

Cakeismymaster · 09/01/2014 08:53

Ummm due to tiredness I seem to have eaten toffee popcorn and more mini eggs last night..
Did a weigh in and no change (no surprise)

Middleagedmotheroftwo · 09/01/2014 10:29

Think I may have lost 1lb, but official weigh in is tonight.

We have a mutual support group up our street, and about 10 of us neighbours weigh each other every Thursday. £1 in the pot each week to weigh, plus £1 for every lb gained. We'll spend the money on a BBQ or something in the summer.

We all have different weight lost goals, some of us need to lose 5st, some of us half a stone, and we are all using different techniques to lose weight. But we're all very supportive of each other, and not competing.

I can recommend weighing with friends - much better than WW or SW. It's not as easy to not weigh in on a particular week when your neighbour comes calling for you. Also, if we genuinely have to miss a day, we can weigh the day before or after.

Pumpkin567 · 09/01/2014 15:47

Can I join? I have/had a stone to loose.
I'm 5'5 and currently 9 stone but with a fat middle.

I'm watching the calories and eating clean, plus I'm upping the excercise.
I've lost 2 lb so far Grin this month.

Potatoe and leek soup for dinner.
1 hour walk this morning.
Calories 400 plus 600 for soup = 1000 today, a very good day.

Tiredemma · 09/01/2014 18:59

Ive kind of done 5.2 today (but had 700 calories instead of 500)

Im just about to Shred again.

Hi kitkat, Pumpkin and Bambinos. The more the merrier :)

Mumoftwo that sounds like a really nice weigh in system - love the idea of the communal barbecue in the summer.

Had a really lovely dinner tonight and it was only 9 points on the old WW. Still have 5 points to play with. Have been saving points all week for the weekend so I can get a Chinese as usual but I've actually made something for dinner tomorrow night so may just eat some ice cream instead :o

TimeToPassGo · 09/01/2014 19:15

X-posted Mummypower yay!

Wishfulmakeupping · 09/01/2014 19:17

Can I join please. I lost just over 4 stone last year after giving birth jan I'm 5.10 and 11.9 want to lose another stone and be 10 something :)

MaureenMLove · 09/01/2014 19:19

I'm in. Similar in size to OP. I'm not doing a specific diet though, I'm doing the husband diet! Grin He's a fantastic chef and just makes everything from scratch, so he knows exactly what's going into it. We do it every January and February and it works perfectly.

Tonight's offering is a secret at the moment, but I know it involves a marrow, stuffed with something! Grin

Middleagedmotheroftwo · 10/01/2014 09:58

Yay! Bit of a result last night - I lost 2lb since last Thursday Smile.

2 down, 12 to go.

(Would I have made up the weight of blood I donated on Wed pm by Thurs eve??)
