I f everyone weighed in tonight?!!

OP posts:
Beccarollover · 07/01/2004 10:55

Yeah, how would everyone feel about having a seperate weigh in to your clubs etc and have a uniform mumsnet weigh in once a week - it would then make the chart much easier and to see how we are all getting on and we could also have a set time when we announce our weigh ins and congratulate (comiserate) with each other

Ditto Coddy :D

I had one less point than allowance for week , so I am quite pleased. My WW starts on Wednesdays , but weigh in day is Sat, as thats when I got my scales. Confused I will be. So I will now weigh Sat & Wednesday.

I have been brave and used the scales. Not going to disclose yet though as I am so not impressed I want to lose about 2 stone though I think.

Becca - I e-mailed it you the new e-mail but sent it from my hotmail account, which I rarely use. I will send it via my normal one in future; hope it doesn't confuse to much.

codswallop · 07/01/2004 11:53

why did you hula? two stone really?

OP posts:
emmatmg · 07/01/2004 11:58

I've mailed you too.

Demented · 07/01/2004 11:58

Do you want a Thurs morn weight then BR? I'm not weighing myself at night I'm always much lighter in the morning than at night. If so will mail you tomorrow with my (hopefully) new weight.

My exercise restarted today with a stretching class, I can't believe the number of times I got cramp.

To answer your question Coddy I sort of plan meals for the whole week, generally have most of them planned with a gap for divine inspiration or a takeaway (I try to pick something virtuous, promise).

clairabelle · 07/01/2004 11:58

Becca i've just emailed you and i'm praying you've taken a vow of silence

codswallop · 07/01/2004 11:59

coudnt you buy a low cal ready meal for thses instances?

OP posts:
Hulababy · 07/01/2004 12:08

The scales were there, all the time, sitting looking at my in the bathroom. I haven't even told DH I weighed myself. I am only 5 foot but I honestly don't look that big. It is my tummy and thighs that are the problem areas mainly. I can even look reasonably fine when going out - thanks to magic knickers!!!

Oh well. Not going on holiday until August so have a while till I get into that bikini again

Is 2 stone really that that bad? I will feel really really good if I can get there and will be so slim again!

Hulababy · 07/01/2004 12:09

CD - I am planning Monday to Friday meals in advance and buying only that food (other than things for DD) in the shop.

Weekends I am not sure about yet as we generally end up eating out the whole time. Will be strict though.

codswallop · 07/01/2004 12:41

no its not bad at all
i weondered if you were being harsh on y self

Ok, have just e-mailed you with my weight and height etc.

Feel really embaressed, but hopefully this will make me stick to the diet.

Feeling better today and have managed to eat some toast. Back to normal tomorrow. Can't do WW as it made me faint all the time so am going to try the South Beach Diet which has been recommended by a friend who is a nurse on a cardiology ward. Just going to write my shopping list!

melsy · 07/01/2004 13:10

Might have to check out that south beach diet on my 300+ diet list.

melsy · 07/01/2004 13:21

Just cant find my own link now to it!!!

Lisa78 did u get my mail - were has everyone gone????

Mingle · 07/01/2004 14:11

Melsy - sorry had to go and pick ds up from nursery. I found the South Beach Diet from this website. There is a link from here to the South Beach website. I brought the book from WHSmith, but I think Amazon have it as well. HTH
