melsy · 18/01/2004 10:54

PPH'S forfeit I mean !!!!. Do you ever type with part of the post in your head and forget to write it!!!

Demented · 18/01/2004 11:05

Fab Coddy, the jeans I had to lie down to put on when I started this now do up easily.

BTW can I have that as my forfeit if I ever need one! That's me every day!

codswallop · 18/01/2004 13:14

very happy to do that forfeit - never put on makeup for the school run.
I'm just naturally ravishing with an immaculate dewy complexion. Or maybe I just don't give a toss. Damn, can't remember which one of those it is. Hmmmmm...!

Congratulations, coddy, oh small-titted one. So what are you now? 32F?!!

Lisa78 · 18/01/2004 14:10

Can I have a silver "one" - don't think i can wait till the seven!

I am inspired by a fridge magnet I saw,

"I am on the gin and tonic diet. So far I have lost 2 days"!!!! (Low cal tonic of course, and if you buy it with a twist of lemon, I bet it counts to your 5 portions of fruit and veg!)

Well done all, especially CLAIRABELLE and KITTYPICKLE - I know you both have said you have a lot to lose, and its easier to lose "larger" amounts in that case, but nevertheless, its a real achievement, the first step! Infact, I think its an even bigger achievement if you know you have to lose more than a stone or two, so well done those girls!

And the rest of us! Catwalk here we come - the mumsnet models!!!!!

This thread is getting everso long, are we going to start a new one? Perhaps we could begin a new one every Thursday for weigh in day - Mumsnetbigmammas week 3, Mumsnetbigmammas week 4, and so on???
what does everyone think?

codswallop · 18/01/2004 14:29

I bought my dress for the ball today - size 10 too so pleased! Got it from House of Frazer. It is long and black, thin straps and top, silk, and then a bit swishy at the bottom - not a great description but best I can do at moment! Also got a lovely wrap in deep purple so my amethist jewellry will all match. Might need some shoes now though.

melsy · 18/01/2004 20:55

Someones here hoorah. Sounds lovely Hula , u will have to post a piccy after the event. Wow a size 10 too , I am sooooo envious!!!. Bet you feel great.

Can I just ask , any idea how many points in a spicey spanish lamb stew, no potatos just a few mouthfuls of couscous????

Beccarollover · 18/01/2004 20:58

Hi Girls
Ive had a truly crap few days and im afraid ive been comfort eating

sorry for failing you

Hulababy · 18/01/2004 21:00

Not sure; don't eat meat so not as clued up with it. Had a look on the databse and have come up with this:

medium portion of lamb is about 3 points
spices have no points
70ml of gravy is 1 point
May well have some flour and/or fat in too much probably only a little bit.

Can't find cous cous but 2 tablespoon of rice is 1.5 points - can't be much different to that.

Sorry - not much help!

Hulababy · 18/01/2004 21:01

Sorry to hear you've had some bad times Becca Hope you are taking care of yourself.

I went out for dinner tonight, after bowling. Had mushroom risott but I don't think it is too bad. And NO pudding!

Lisa78 · 18/01/2004 21:04

Becca with the week you're having, I'm not surprised! Don't beat yourself up about it

melsy · 18/01/2004 21:11

Couscous is about 5 pts for 100grams, just got worried as in "eating out" book lamb stew looked really high, but may be thats with the potatos. This didnt have any.

Mushroom rissotto is about 8 pts Hula

Becca wots up why such a horrible day???

Hulababy · 18/01/2004 21:14

8 points is fine then - only had a small portion too as DD inched about a third of it. And only had a prawn salad for lunch, no bread. And no alcohol!!!

I don't have the new book so there must be additional things in it; and I don't have the eating out one either - too tight to pay out and go to meetings

melsy · 18/01/2004 21:17

Only joined for the books, havent been since!!

Beccarollover · 18/01/2004 21:18

melsy - my ex (megans dad) had a bad accident last night and is in hospital (other thread "oh hell ex has had an accident" also more troubles with my DD and now also DP to top it off!

melsy · 18/01/2004 21:19

Found it in PUB GRUB lancashire hot pot is 13.5 pts , does that have potatos?? If so then mine must be about 8-10 withought or do you think or less??

melsy · 18/01/2004 21:20

So sorry to hear that , I havent been in all day and havent read it. Im sorry.

melsy · 18/01/2004 21:21

BTW Hula if you cant find something with your database etc ,just email me if you want.
