Hi

Sorry I have been out all day today so havent been manning the laptop for a change!

Will check emails now and update the chart.

Is everyone in a position to be able to weigh themselves tomorrow morning before brekkie and after wee and report on here, from then on it will be every thursday morning - is there anyone who wont be able to do that?

In answer to your question coddy NO - I dont plan ahead, I wish I did as it would be so much easier - Im very much a winger when Id dearly love to be a planner

Beccarollover · 07/01/2004 19:07

Clairebelle, yes! of course im vowed to silence - the only thing that will be on the boards is POUNDS LOST not your weight so therefore no one needs to be embarassed - we can still do all the awards and motivational things that way :D

fio2 · 07/01/2004 19:08

i keep reading this thread as bigamists club!

coppertop · 07/01/2004 19:10

fio2 - me too!

princesspeahead · 07/01/2004 19:22

I am NOT a bigmama! Roseanne Barr is a big mama, Dawn French is a bigmama, I am NOT!

Sulks.

I have negotiated with BR that I will weigh in on Thurs morning at great personal inconvenience! Not that there will be any change this week as only really started last night. (making excuses already)

Beccarollover · 07/01/2004 19:31

We are all big mamas - mamas with great big eyes and hearts big up the big mamas fnar fnar

Demented · 07/01/2004 19:49

Oh no Coddy, I don't really do ready-meals. Most of them seem to taste like vomit or are too salty, too processed tasting. I would generally rather sling together some rice and leftover veg or if I can't be bothered cooking perhaps a takeaway chicken tikka (the one with the separate sauce so you can have as little or as much of it as you like, depending on how creaming it is, local takeaway does this sauce non-creamy) BTW pre-diet I used to have Kormas etc so this is an improvement.

Demented · 07/01/2004 19:51

Just looked at my message, it makes me sound a bit of a snob. I do however do tins of beans, tuna, frozen peas etc if that makes things better.

150percent · 07/01/2004 20:51

Must admit that I'm finding the M&S count on us meals a life-saver - they have plenty or curry/oriental types which taste good (for a ready meal!). Just heard that there is a new M&S food shop opening local-ish which will hopefully be a bit more accessable than my current one. Real pain that they don't do internet shopping!

And for my achievement of the week - I managed to throw out the remains of our cheeseboard including the white stilton with apricots which is my fav. I think that this ranks even higher than the fact that I have made it to the gym every day since Boxing Day other than New Years Day...

My low point of the day was snaffling 2 chicken nuggets in McDs. Took Dh and the boys there and just had a diet coke, but ds1 decided that he had to have a burger, so 4 nuggets going spare... with sweet and sour dip...

princesspeahead · 07/01/2004 20:56

just had grilled skinless chicken breast with salad dressed only by squish of lemon juice and dribble of balsamic.

HOW BORING WAS THAT?

I'm still hungry

codswallop · 07/01/2004 20:59

veg pph?

weighed in at flabwatch.. 10 10 - so allowinf say 2 lbs for clothes and time of day its still bad.

ONly 11 points today

OP posts:
150percent · 07/01/2004 21:02

That is virtuous pph. I'd go to bed now then - i would be munching otherwise. At least if I get as far as the bedroom I generally can't be bothered to come down again...

150percent · 07/01/2004 21:03

Look on the good side coddy - you'll definitely be lighter for your Thurs am weigh-in...

Hulababy · 07/01/2004 21:25

Fishfingers ( ), chips (homemade oven baked) and mushy peas tonight with WW bread. And still under - just.

princesspeahead · 07/01/2004 21:27

the salad was veg!
that's what you get if you say to dh "I can't be bothered to cook - can you make me something? but it has to be healthy"

grilled chicken and salad. sigh

Beccarollover · 07/01/2004 21:28

coddy dont they say dont go under 14 a day cos metabolism stops?

princesspeahead · 07/01/2004 21:28

but what were you before coddy? have you lost anything?

Hulababy · 07/01/2004 21:30

Yes, you shouldn't try and stay under the points by much and you are only allowed to carry 4 point sover a day too. You don't lose weight quicker if you do apparantly as your body thinks you are starving it and will start to store fat. Not sure where I heard that though so may be rubbish

150percent · 07/01/2004 21:30

pph - could be worse. Last time I said that to dh I got a chicken kebab from the takeaway....

Beccarollover · 07/01/2004 21:31

at the risk of being complete pain in the ass (and please ignore me if you think i am) can anyone who hasnt sent an email to [email protected] please do so - even if its just blank - im building up the contacts list so i can have you all in a group and im losing track flicking between my normal account and that one - i promise this will be the last request!

melsy · 07/01/2004 21:39

Hulababy that is true - have to be careful not to make your body think it is not getting enough.

I have only eaten 15.5 points so with that said should I use the rest,on 18 a day??

melsy · 07/01/2004 22:14

Anyone - is club closed tonight??? Weres our very own Marjorie, (coddy)???

Beccarollover · 07/01/2004 22:15

Melsy I dont think you need to use the rest, your allowed to save 4 a day - its under 14 they warn against!

Hulababy · 07/01/2004 22:18

Becca - I have sent you an e-mail with my proper e-mail address for your contacts. The one I used earlier was my hotmaul one and I rarely even check it.
