Did you get my mail Becca? I sent it yesterday........I was the same this morning incase you needed another one.

Beccarollover · 08/01/2004 20:41

Mingle and Emma - yep I got both emails - both on the charts :D

Dmum · 08/01/2004 21:05

BR, hope you got my e-mail.

Demented · 08/01/2004 21:10

Mailed you earlier today BR, hope you got it. Hope everyone has done well this week.

I'm afraid tonight I have succumbed to two dark chocolate digestives and a Tunnock's tea cake, I have asked DH to hide the rest (I think he's hidden them in his stomach).

Beccarollover · 08/01/2004 21:20

Yep got all the emails

Shall I do the announcement of what Ive got now then or are there any late comers to the weigh in?

princesspeahead · 08/01/2004 21:30

don't keep us in suspense any longer!
virtuous day number 2 - total consumption - one mug of Covent Garden Tuscan Bean soup, one pita with low fat cottage cheese, one portion of sashimi and a bowl of miso soup. Oh, and 2 satsumas...

150percent · 08/01/2004 21:33

What's the take on alcohol these days? I know beer has loads of calories but what about a glass of wine (by itself). My main failing is that I always get an attack of the munchies whilst drinking, so am sitting here with a glass of wine and a few celery sticks...

melsy · 08/01/2004 21:33

Well hhmmmfff, I am pied off , hate WW and the weigh in woman. In a bad mood after tonights joining and came out 3lbs heavier than on my scales at home,(& there new & digital). Someone please help , as I am not allowed any more points tonight but want to stuff my face with BAAAAAD stuff. I stupidly asked her what I SHOULD be at my height and she said well you should be XX, but you wont get there unless you loose 10% of what u r now!!!! Thanks a f*ing lot, I said I had 16wk old and she SOOO wasnt interested , as if she implied it was an excuse. NOT GOING BACK!!!!!

melsy · 08/01/2004 21:35

Sorrrreee in bad mood!! Does it show!!

Beccarollover · 08/01/2004 21:36

Ok here goes............drum roll.......

Massive round of applause to the Mamas that lost weight this week and good luck to everyone just starting out.

150percent 2lbs OFF
Applepie 3lbs OFF
PPH 3lbs OFF
Demented 4lbs OFF
Hulababy 3lbs OFF
Beccarollover 2lbs OFF
Thats a total 17 POUNDS more than a stone between us and thats without everyone weighing in yet! Just think what we can do next week when everyone is in WOOHOO

As a visual representation of what this equates to I found this that apparently also weighs 17lbs :D

Beccarollover · 08/01/2004 21:38

Oh Melsy -- grrr can imagine how fecked off you must feel BUT to make you feel a little better I have a 17 week old and weigh a stone and a half more than you :D Does that make it any better?

Try and go easy with your indulgence tonight, you will just feel more pissed off tomorrow - how about a nice bath?

princesspeahead · 08/01/2004 21:38

bloody hell, everyone has done brilliantly! isn't that amazing? oooh, now I'm inspired, looking forward to next thurs already.
melsy, tell the silly woman to bugger off and come and weigh in here instead. It doesn't really matter which scale is right, as long as you stick to one of them - it is the pounds coming off that matters, and how you feel, not whether it is 10st2 or 10st 5, IYKWIM

Demented · 08/01/2004 21:43

Hurrah, so we've lost a Combat 'Crock Pot' between us!

Melsy, were you weighing yourself in the morning and the WW woman weighing you in the evening? Just a thought as I always weigh pounds more in the evening.

Beccarollover · 08/01/2004 21:44

yeah - ditto, Im sticking with my thursday morning weigh in - much better on the mind than an evening one!

melsy · 08/01/2004 22:34

Thanks girls have calmed down a bit now, your cum weight lost has made me feel better & worse as stayed static . May be I will loose more next week , please hope for me otherwise it may be a slippery slope into bad food hell.

Becarollover I will have that bath now I think. Havent had any Bad stuff, as I WILL feel worse.

Thank you, good night .

melsy · 08/01/2004 22:37

BTW - I have lost 5lb's in 3 weeks since I started WW on my own on DEC 10th. So I will have to keep telling myself that is a good start , esp with Xmas and all.

Beccarollover · 08/01/2004 22:38

yep and you have done great losing those 5lbs and they WONT go back on - the only way is down :D

Enjoy your bath

codswallop · 09/01/2004 10:21

Melsy the ww witgh in is always about 3 lbs over a mornin one - but I would advise sticking to that as your weight as I am

BR yes I had weighd in at home - have prob lost 2 - 3 lbs but will start by just using the ww weight.
as long as it keeps going down -

lets have forefeits if you out on - like reveling embarassing secrets or doing something funny in public

OP posts:
Beccarollover · 09/01/2004 10:24

yay im in for forfeits

codswallop · 09/01/2004 10:26

BTW melsy - the bath a very good avoidance strategy!

OP posts:
Hulababy · 09/01/2004 10:26

150percent - re alcohol. I only know as far as WW is concerned:

100l white wine = 1 point
Half pint beer = 1.5 points
Half pint lager = 1 point
25ml spirits = 1 point
25ml sherry = 0.5 point
25ml liquer = 1 point
Half pint cider = 1.5 points

150percent · 09/01/2004 10:26

Hmmm, just waiting for someone to be pre-menstrual: not only will they put on weight and get depressed, but they will also have a forfeit!

150percent · 09/01/2004 10:29

Thanks Hulababy. I'm afraid I still drink sherry by the wine glass, so I'd better stick to wine...

codswallop · 09/01/2004 11:05

hellmasns purple super low fat mayo is only 0.5 points for a 15g (? a tablespoon?)

OP posts:
codswallop · 09/01/2004 14:13

any one less, ahem, windy since the diet?
