I know what you mean. I'm an all or nothing kinda girl Wink. If the bottle is open I have to drink it all usually but I'm pacing myself!!

glad to hear you two are getting on okay, 1/2 a opund is still weight lost, at least you didn't put on which is what I'm sure I will have done this week Sad have had a bad week but am trying so am still hoping for a small loss.

lilibet · 04/04/2006 14:36

Gnl, don't let a bad week discourage you, go and get weighed and see how you have done, or is it this week that you have no class like me?

If it is you have time to make it all better.

What are your problem areas? Mine are when I get in from collecting ds2 from school, I usually have a few slices of bread and butter and whatever else I can get my hands on Blush and then later on at night, but now I'm not drinking in the week that isn't as bad.

alicemama · 04/04/2006 14:40

hope you don't mind me joining in but just want to say just because you've had a bad week, don't let it stop you. I thought I'd had a really week and went to class last night, altho I'd tried every excuse to get out of it, and shock....I'd lost 2lb!
Sometimes we can blow out of proportion naughty things we have eaten and forget how good we are the rest of the time....so keep going!

lilibet · 04/04/2006 22:12

Hello Alicemama

Do you go to Rosemary Conley? How much have you lost?

I am sooooo hungry Sad

gingernutlover · 05/04/2006 10:11

lost 2lb last night so 7.5 oerall in first two weeks - not bad, but my calory allowance has now gone from the meagre 1200 to 1600 - hoep I still lose weight on this

KBear · 05/04/2006 10:58

GNL - That is fantastic! You must have been really pleased.

I'm going for it this week again, ever determined. This morning I have been trying on clothes that didn't fit me previously - it's working!!!!! There are loads of things that fit me better and I look better in already. Roll on being slim goddess in the summer ROFL!!!!

Over half a stone!!! Woo Hoo!!!

Really wish I had a weigh in this week Sad

alicemama · 05/04/2006 15:26

Hi I've lost 12lbs so far in 2 months and down a dress size already.
Got to try really hard now as off to florida in 5 weeks and would like to lose 2lbs to get me to a stone and then another half stone before we go....here's hoping!

lilibet · 05/04/2006 17:48

12LB in two months is really good. Any tips you can share with us? How firmly have you stuck to the plan?

Is it exercise or salsa that you go to?

KBear · 05/04/2006 18:30

yes please, we need tips. Lost a measly half a pound this week and stuck to the plan like glue.

OP posts:
alicemama · 06/04/2006 08:48

I've stuck to it exactly more or less, have cheated a couple of times. But the main reason for my weightloss is I have about 3 stone to lose and so lose it a lot quicker than someone who has only 1 st to lose.
we have an aerobic exercise class and sometimes she does toning....boy does that hurt!
I also do davina dvd 3 times a week and that still hurts even tho I've done it a million times!

lilibet · 06/04/2006 15:44

How is everyone?

What are you all having for tea?

I'm having salmon, potaotes and veg, with mayo mixed with lime juice and rind.

One of my mates is coming round on Saturday night, I'm probably going to do roasted veg adn couscous which is fine but I know I will miss my lovely fattening bread with it. the four cheese and sundried tomato from tesco, or just some gorgeous baguette dripping with garlic butter

sorry - dribbling on the keyboard Blush

Anything anyone can think of that I can have?

KBear · 06/04/2006 16:00

Hi L - haven't thought about tea yet - had a prawn and lettuce sandwich for lunch and some strawberries though! Am at work today so not very organised. Possibly soup for dinner because it's in the cupboard!!

Trousers held up with safety pin today - classy!

You'll be the talk of Scotland Grin

KBear · 06/04/2006 16:13

I think alot of it is that previously I felt bloated all the time and eating more healthily has stopped that hence the reduction in waist size (nearly 4 inches)! I was a demon for white bread and chocolate although had healthy dinners with lots of veg but probably too many potatoes too.

I will wow them in Scotland in my waterproofs!!! ROFL

lilibet · 06/04/2006 16:15

Where are you going in Scotland? I've only ever been to Gretna!

KBear · 06/04/2006 16:16

Glencoe

gingernutlover · 06/04/2006 16:19

lillibet - great minds eh, I was planning salmon for dinner. Problem is the steaks I have are large, if I have just half a jacket potato with a few beans will that still be too many calories?

KBear · 06/04/2006 16:25

You're allowed 500 cals for dinner right? Surely that's way under. Get the scales out and have a look in the back of the book for the exact amount.

OP posts:
gingernutlover · 06/04/2006 16:34

oh, 500cals for dinner - yes youre right. Think this should be fine then. Thanks K Bear - am really looking forward to it.

I haven't had a treat as haven't been hungry - does that mean I could have butter on the spud or am I being too generous with myself?!?!?!

KBear · 06/04/2006 16:36

No butter - FAT IS BAD!!!!!

I miss butter and cheese Sad.

OP posts:
gingernutlover · 06/04/2006 17:49

was only joking about the butter

but got me thinking

jacket spud with butter and cheese mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

one day, when i am skinny Smile
