Rules of Motivational Monday:
The weekend is the past. You start from now. If not, you'll end up here in a couple of weeks and a few pounds heavier so do it NOW
MM involves healthy eating and some exercise. Your excuses will not be tolerated here.
MM is when we all get back into control and back into the swing of things.
Welcome all and best of luck. :)

Happy Try Hard TuesdayGrin
I will weigh in when the DCs finish watching a DVD.

chipsandmayonnaise · 31/07/2012 07:18

Good morning everyoe! Sassy hope you are feeling better. I also lost 6 pounds once with a bnad bout of flu. It was brilliant!

I had a reasonable day yesterday. I did go over the 26 points- had a glass of wine when I got home, and because I had not been planning on that I had not 'budgeted' for it. Have just had a 30 minute walk, and zumba class though tonight.

However I am finding it hard to feel motivated. There is no way I will be at my goal weight for the wedding, but I keep telling myself that I will be about hal a stone from my goal weight- and that is not too bad at all really! I am trying to tell myself to just stick wth the programme and to what I know works. So today will be ryvitas and soup all day, but I lose the will to live if I have that for dinner, so I will have grilled chicken or fish.

However- I DID fit into (and buy) a size smaller pair of jeans at M&S at the weekend! I have not been this size since when I had terrible morning sickness! (Naturally though- I immediately assumed that M&S are now doing vanity sizing .... cannot quite trust that the weight IS coming off!)

Hope everyone has a great day. Thanks

duh [bangs head] excuse spelling. Why when I read over before posting, it looks okay, and then posts with sp mistakes? [humph]

MilkshakeMaker · 31/07/2012 07:47

Sorry I didnt get a chance to post yesterday, weighed in at 11st12 so 2lb lost from last week..annoyed though as was 11st11 on sunday so could have been 3lb. grrr!

DS is 2.9 and is getting to that stage where he tells the whole nursery his life story.. He told everyone about me flushing the fish down the toilet a few weeks ago complete with slowly shaking his head saying 'poor poor fish'

IOutrunBoltInMySpareTime · 31/07/2012 08:01

13st 4 this morning, definitely heading in the right direction.

chipsandmayonnaise · 31/07/2012 08:27

sassytheFIRST · 31/07/2012 08:36

Would like to lose another 2-3 by next fri if I can.

Congrats to all other losers today.

Well done IMST and Chips. :)

I wish I could lose weight through everyday type stress. This morning we all overslept. We had to rush to get dressed and take dh to the tram station, ds1 is being a selfish, lazy, moody teenager of the highest order (but he won't admit it's because he's bored). Ds2 is sleeping worse than ever because he's not at playgroup every day (except he didn't wake us at six like normal so he's a rubbish alarm clock). Dd has been away with my parents for over a week and won't be back til Thursday night and I miss her like crazy. We've never been apart that long before.

Feeling a bit crap and wish it would translate as weight loss.

Sorry for the rant. :(

littlemissstan · 31/07/2012 09:49

Morning all! I think I win the prize for the worst weekend ever - a big night out for a friend's 30th that saw me drink all the cocktails IN THE WORLD and then the hangover would accept nothing but a fry up and McDonald's milkshake... Haven't weighed myself yet! Though we went to the Olympic eventing yesterday and walked the entire cross country course twice, which according to mfp burned 1400 calories! So we shall see.

The exciting thing is that today I am wearing a SIZE 10 DRESS!! Caveat - it is a maxi and the most elasticated thing ever, but still...

LollipopViolet · 31/07/2012 09:59

Morning all!

I need to have breakfast and then go to the gym. This weight is not moving as fast as I would hope, so drastic action is needed. With my impending trip to the running track, I shall be doing 4 days exercise this week. Today will see another hour on the treadmill, accompanied by the sounds of Iron Maiden and various other rock and metal bands, and some weights. Need to do more weights really.

Right, better get moving to get out of the house, I suppose.

TheOneWithTheGoldMedals · 31/07/2012 10:16

Well done littlemissstan. I can't wait to do that although I'd settle for a twelve right now.

Go for it Lollipop, you can't beat a bit of rock at the gym. :)

KatoPotato · 31/07/2012 10:21

Well done everyone! And check out littlemissstan almost ready to graduate! sniff

Well Tuesday is happier day! can officially record 21stone bang on, and the scale even winked a cheeky 11 12 at me too!

Thanks for the support when I was so desolute yesterday, god knows what our bodies are up to right now!

KatoPotato · 31/07/2012 10:23

Oh and on delightful 2.6 children, mine told the toddler group leader 'Mummy wants to kick all the dogs!'

This is following a muttering at an obnoxious dog family letting their manky mutt slaver all over his sandwich on Saturday... no, it's not adorable, and I will kick it...

*apologies to dog lovers/owners....

littlemissstan · 31/07/2012 10:41

Thanks TheOne and Kato but there is NO WAY I'm graduating anywhere, I have simply found a very very stretchy loophole :) I have a size 12 dress I am attempting to get into in a couple of weeks for a day at the races, and being properly made and with a zip, it is nowhere near me...

sassytheFIRST · 31/07/2012 10:52

Ooops, just realised I am here under false pretences. Never in this lifetime will I wear a size 10 dress. Not unless we include American size 10s! I am comically proportioned (think Christina-thingy from Mad Men) with size 30J - thats right J - tits. They ain't ever going to fit size 10.

If I can wear a 14 on top comfortably and a 10-12 on the bottom, I'll be v happy. I reckon 10 and half stone would do me nicely.

Still allowed? Even if I'll never be a 10? Wink

Ooh and well done littlemiss!

MilkshakeMaker · 31/07/2012 11:20

I'm sure we can make a exception sassy You never know, They might even get smaller as you loose, I've gone from a F to a E since the beginning of the first thread we had...Not much but its something!

sassytheFIRST · 31/07/2012 11:56

Can live in hope, I guess.

I am about to crack open a bottle of wine. Needed as there are 9 Shock little girls in my house (usually 2) for the next 4 hours.

Just a glass to ease the pain.

StealthPolarBear · 31/07/2012 12:45

Well done to everyone who has lost, esp littlemiss :o
Kato...21st, really? :o wow to seeing 11st something, that's my hope for my weigh in on Thursday

littlemissstan · 31/07/2012 14:03
