Ok, I'm in! Currently weigh a whopping 14st 3lbs (tha shame). Would like to lose a stone by August the hopefully keep going and get down to 10st ish.

Was size 14 and about 12 st before I had my son who's just turned one. But have been over 17st at my heaviest (again the shameBlush ). Done it once tho, so know I can do it again!

Sluttybuttons · 04/06/2012 12:15

Oh can i join. At the moment i weigh 15st 5 and ive never been this huge before (im 5ft2). Id like to loose a stone by aug and will be happy when i get to a comfy size 12.

What diet are you guys using. I was thinking about joining the tescos diets

CharlieUniformNovemberTango · 04/06/2012 12:30

I'm in if I can find the box where the scales are packed. I'm moving at the end of August to temporary accom. and my cross trainer will be sold or put in storage so I decided today whilst hanging a wet towel on it that I will make a huge effort to use it everyday before I use the lack of exercise equipment as an excuse for still being overweight come Christmas.

It's the perfect time to kick start it now.

But I'm expecting 295lb Blush and I'd like to lose about 10lb to start with.

I also have a pedometer that I'm using to get my 10,000 steps in.

Fizzybee · 04/06/2012 12:40

pretty my son just turned one to I was breastfeeding till march and didn't shift anything doing it even when dieting

Sluttybuttons I'm doing closer diets run by tescos diet recommend it 100% I would not have list without their help !

Charlie I convinced myself my bathroom scales I inherited from the last people that lived in here were wrong however when I bought argos whimsy new scales I released they were rightBlush never thought about using a pedometer might have to try it

Glad I'm not on my own I normally weigh in with closer on wednesday

I'm in. Started in earnest on 1 June, weighing in at 11 8 Blush, biggest I have ever been. Decided to eat less and move more, have done 20 minute workout dvd since 1st. Not sure about amount of weight I want to lose just don't want to be hoving around a size 18 anymore, would love to be a 12/14.

MumPotNoodle · 04/06/2012 13:06

that should have said I have done the dvd every day since 1st Grin.

ssmile · 04/06/2012 18:57

Found you again fizzybee I'm still going here losing 0.5-1lb a week tbut I go back to work end of Aug so if I could get to 10 half stone and size 12trouser I'd be very happy. I'm 11/3lbs at mo, lose 14 on bottom, 16-18 on top still breastfeeding 9mth baby.

Since Jan I've lost 31lbs using MFP on my phone to log food, walk a lot with school run &baby in buggy, plus I was doing Shred dvd 3* a week but I'm having to take a rest from it for a couple weeks as I've damaged something inside and awaiting a scan. Not sure if its some kind of herna but will try get a bike ride in weekly when DH can have kids.

Fizzybee · 04/06/2012 19:03

Oh yes, I'll join please. It's my birthday at the beginning of August. I'm 9.6 at the moment and would like to be under 9 by my birthday purlease. Am MFPing and trying to do a bit of exercise but mainly healthy eating-less cake Grin

Tortoise · 04/06/2012 23:45

Had a good evening walk into town then up a big hill tonight to watch the jubilee beacon being lit in my local town. Probably a good 3-4 miles in all as we live a mile from town and I don't drive.

Bluebirdpies · 05/06/2012 10:52

I'm in too. Weighed myself this morning and I'm 11st 9lbs - far far too heavy. I want to be 10 something in September for a wedding I'm going to.

I'm using my fitness pal, started yesterday. Had deluded myself about how much I ate. I'd been thinking there was no explanation for my weight gain... urmmm. The explanation is that I've been eating too much!

Fizzybee · 05/06/2012 12:42

Hi blue yep u started logging in Mfp and it dawned on me all the little nibbles add up

I did 40 mins on the wii last night walked the school run thus am planning doing it this pm too

Chicken rissiti for dinner Grin

I'll join you! 13 stone 8 and the fattest I've ever been, If I could lose 16lb before 5 August that would be great, I'd just be able to struggle into the clothes I bought in April, instead of looking to buy some 16s before I go.

PrettyPrinceofParties · 05/06/2012 16:33

Hmmm, Fizztbee you didn't lose any weight whilst breast feeding? I'm still breast feeding. Often wondered if my body was holding onto weight because of that but in all honesty I think I just eat too much crap!

Really want to eat well so hat healthy eating is the norm for my son and hedoesn't have my food issues. Also, I don't want him to be embarrassed by his fat mummy.

AND I WANT TO KICK ASS IN THE MOTHER'S RACE ON HIS FIRST SPORTS DAY!!

Fizzybee · 05/06/2012 18:30

Nope really didn't exclusively bf but tried loads of times now its coming of steadily I wish I had joined a diet plan sooner to monitor what I was eating was too embarrassed to join sw/weight watchers then I found out bout closer diets while reading mild magazine and haven't looked back :)

Hi prettyprince I've read that breastfeeding can slow down your metabolism, I'm still BF my DD2 but since she on 3meals a day now (she is 9mths) I've stopped allowing myself an extra 250calories as my weigh loss really started to slow down. I had been eating 1400-1500 a day and losing 2lbs every week, I'm still eating 1500 a day but only losing half pound a week now, I'm not too worried as I've lost the big chunk I wanted to, now all the lbs are bonuses to a much healthy me and I want to keep it off once I stop BF too:) With my first DD1 I didn't lose any weight until I stopped BF her at 9mths I was just ravenous all day. Gd luck.

Tortoise · 05/06/2012 23:27

I think I've done ok today food wise but been very lazy! Did about 10 mins on wii fit then kids took over!
Out for most of the day tomorrow so will be doing lots of walking.

MumPotNoodle · 07/06/2012 09:33

3lbs down Grin, now 11 5. Have managed to exercise every day except the day I had a three course lunch with friends BlushGrin, so could potentially had a bigger loss! never mind, I'm heading in the right direction.

fizzypigs · 07/06/2012 10:46

hi a late joiner...i am 13st 5lb and would like to lose 2 st. prob not possible for me to do by aug but would be thrilled to lose 1 st by then. am guessing calories and trying to exercise but with just returning to work from mat leave i have no idea where to find the time to exercise.

swimming is my usual sport of choice but struggling to get to the pool. has anyone tried couch to 5k programme? thought it might be a good way to get active and don't need to rely on opening times coinciding with when i have time.

pot noodle 3lb down is great! great motivation for me to get started!!

Fizzybee · 07/06/2012 12:02
