Well done on the weightloss so far everyone :)
Sorry to hear about the gallbladder problems. I had mine out 4 years ago after my twins were born, but I remember the pain from an attack was absolutely horrendous.
Well, I have finally dropped below the 14 stone mark, and am now 13 st 13lbs :)

Hi dawn thanks, did you have any after effects from having it taken out? or have to follow an ultra low fat diet?? Im not seeing the Dr until first week in September at the hospital and I'm actively not trying to google it until I know more about my case as I only had a 2min phone call with the GP.

Weight wise Im abit down I've just platuead for weeks now at the 11stone barrier (BMI 27)and I just cant seem to keep to my calories on MFP even though I upped them to 1320 a day, Im averaging around 1700-1800 net I really think the poor weather has not helped as Im not walking as much so today Im going to do what I was doing before and walk from school run into town with baby and do couple of bits and walk back, in all that takes about 1.5-2hrs of walking so should help! Im hoping its not going to rain for the first time in about 6wks!!

well done for breaking the 14stone barrier its such a sense of achievement when you "break" a barrier isnt it! Keep up the good work :o

I was quite sore for a while after the op, but have had no problems at all since. I don't remember being given any particular diet information, and managed to eat enough fat to take me up to 17 stone!!
I had mine done by keyhole surgery so only had one night in hospital. Hope you get it sorted.

Well done, Dawn. For me another Thursday and another 2 lb. I can now get into all my holiday clothes ( size14's) It is 2 weeks on Saturday until we go so if I go down another 3lb before then and hit 12 stone I'll be very happy indeed, and maybe have just a bit is wiggle room too.

dawnpreview · 19/07/2012 08:01

Well done higgle, 2lb is great :)

higgle · 19/07/2012 12:01

I've rather lo;st track of how most of us are doing - are we all or target for the start of our holidays? As the gall bladder won't let me gorge on cheese in France I'm rather hoping I might come home a pound or two lighter too. (I'm veggie so there are limited other temptations)

madacap thats fab well done :)

I've just had weekend away with wine and BBQs &pub meal and I feel proud of myself that I didn't go bonkers and only ate half the chips on my plate in the pub, but did have MILs yum chocolate cake and some treacle tart. Will weigh tom to see what damage is.

Well done madcaplady :)

Madcap lady, 5lb!!!!!! that must have cheered you up. As it is August on Wednesday I'm hoping everyone is where they want to be. This week my car and my teeth have decided to play up in ways that will probably prove to be very expensive, so it is a good job I fit my clothes now as there sure isn't any money in the kitty for any more this month. As I had to get a new battery for my scales I couldn't weigh in yesterday, but today I did and it was another 2lb - I think I needed the extra day anyway to compensate for lunch out last Friday and a bit of a drift away from the straight and narrow on Sunday. So, 1lb in 8 days to do, then come August it will be 3 stone to go ( but I won'tbe thinking of that until after my holiday, I will just rejoice in the first stone and a half.)

higgle · 03/08/2012 06:44

Am I the last one in? I'll turn out the lights. Last pound gone this week, so that is 22lb lost, flight leaves 9am tomorrow. Only another 3 stone when I get back from holiday......
