I need some food ideas if anyone has any.Smile Breakfast is the hardest meal. Normally skip it or have a cereal bar. Nothing I fancy eating first thing.

Evenings its normally just me to cook for as dc have cooked school dinners.

Don't like any fish or eggs.

Had salad for lunch.

Fizzybee · 10/06/2012 16:46

I can copy my weeks closer meal plan later if it helps ?

I'm a little late but please may I join in? Going on holiday and August and I am the heaviest I have ever been. Plan to go to a WW meeting tomorrow morning, and seriously up my activity levels too. I'm not sure of my weight as I've been burying my head in the sand but will know tomorrow (gulp) and will report back.

MeanMrsMustard · 10/06/2012 17:59

Can I join you please?
I have been on a diet for 2 weeks so far and have lost 5lb. I am 12st12lb now.
I'm not really following a plan, just trying to stay in control of what I'm eating. I'm eating healthy food rather than diety food because dh and I are ttc.
We're going on holiday at the end of July, so I'd like to be looking better by then. Not sure how much weight loss to aim for in that time though. Any ideas of what is realistic? I always aim for silly amounts.

MumPotNoodle · 10/06/2012 19:18

I have a SW-type plan passed on to me by another Mner if anyone wants it. I have just inhaled a roast dinner Sad.

Tortoise · 10/06/2012 19:39

Any meal plan ideas would be great Smile.

I scoffed a big burger topped with cheese and bacon plus mash and beans Blush
Bottle of Budweiser pushed me over daily allowance. Will try and work some off on the Wii later!

MumPotNoodle · 10/06/2012 19:45

tortoise, pm me with an email address if you want the info, there is lots Grin.

Tortoise · 10/06/2012 21:07

My email is tortoise 4 @ gmail. com (no spaces) Sure its already all over mn! Smile

Just did 48 mins on Wii fit. Only got the basic game that came with Wii fit board. So I did a mixture of yoga, muscle and aerobic. Lots of step and hula hooping lol.

MumPotNoodle · 10/06/2012 21:33

Tortoise, have (hopefully) forwarded info to you Grin.

Tortoise · 10/06/2012 21:36

Thank you Smile.
I've got the munchies, trying to resist!

MumPotNoodle · 11/06/2012 06:19

Been awake snuffling with this cold since about 4am Angry, going to be a looooong day. Can't muster up the motivation to exercise, not sure if you are supposed to if you are poorly. Hope to get through the day (and work) relatively unscathed Grin.

Hope you all have a good start to the week.

dawnpreview · 11/06/2012 08:13

Woohoo, I have lost 2lbs!
Going to take dog for a long walk later, and plan to start swimming from tomorrow.

Tortoise · 11/06/2012 11:11

Failed miserably last night Sad. Why do I do well then sabotage it by scoffing loads of crap Sad.

DC back at school so today is a fresh start.

boredandrestless · 11/06/2012 12:44

I went to my WW meeting this morning and weighed in at 13 stone! Sad I am hoping the shock of this will keep me on the straight and narrow but I feel very overwhelmed TBH.

higgle · 12/06/2012 08:07

Can't quite believe this but after one week I now weigh 13 stone! must have been absoloutely stuffed to the top when I weighed in at 13st 8 when I started last week. I did quite well last week, only one office birthday cupcake.
I have an omlette or a hard boiled egg on toast for breakfast with lots of cherry tomatoes, which works for me as I just don't feel hungry through to lunch time then. 7 weeks to holiday this coming Saturday, so if I am very good indeed should be able to get down to 12 stone and fit into my new size 14 Fat Face sun dresses that I can just about get into but look like astuffed sausage at the moment.

Hello everyone, is it ok if I join in? I have an event to go to in exactly one month and a beautiful dress that doesn't fit :(

I'll weigh myself on the wii fit later on but I'd guess I'm maybe 10st 10 or thereabouts, and need to lose at least half a stone, but would be able to breathe more comfortable in the dress at 10st.

I've got shred and the wii fit but no time to do them so will be concentrating on not eating crap.

boredandrestless · 13/06/2012 09:21

I've had more fruit and veg in the last 2 days than I've had in the last month I reckon. Blush It's making me realise what a lot of junk I was eating.

I like your meal ideas fizzybee, it's always interesting to see what others are eating and get ideas. I've been having porridge (half milk, half water) topped with strawberries and blueberries for breakfast. I find porridge or an eggy breakfast fill me up better.

My evening meals are a bit uninspiring for this week, various WW ready meals which I've been doing with a big side of veg (steamed, roasted or salad). I feel so overhwelmed this makes my first week slightly easier.

Well done on the fab weight loss Higgle!
