fizzybee, 1st 3 in 7 weeks, that is brilliant. Makes my 3lb look pitiful Grin. Am secretly harbouring thoughts of a stone in 5/6 weeks. Could really kick myself as I was a stone lighter this time last year but had a very bad winter and made very bad choices that I am only now trying to sort.

Fizzybee · 07/06/2012 13:34

I think a stone in 6 weeks is doable with commitment :) I lost the stone . 1lb in 6 weeks then 2 this week.

I never steped on the scales since about 2008 that's when I was last comftable then my mum died, dp was away for 6 months , then I had a miscarriage at 4 months then got pg with ds2 and was bf for a year and never felt unto/managed to sort out my weight it's only now I've had enough and am trying hard

You are doing really well Smile.

muchwanted · 07/06/2012 13:51

Hi can I join please. I am 11st 4 - lost a stone and a half last year but 3/4 stone has gone back on. I would like to lose half a stone or ideally 10 pounds by august. I went to weightwatchers last time but just can't get to a meeting at the moment. I have a pair of size 12 jeans at the moment that barely do up. I want them to be comfortable again.

Hi

I'm in :)
I am currently 14st 3lb, and would like to get to 13st by August.
Am planning to go swimming at least once a week once the kids are back at pre-school next week, and get in some nice long walks with the dog.

MumPotNoodle · 08/06/2012 21:13

Not exercised for a couple of days as I have a stinking cold but will try and do something tomorrow by way of a damage limitation day. Been out on the road today and literally my only food choice was McD, had no idea what was the "best" option so had a burger on its own, it was rank!

Fizzybee · 08/06/2012 21:49

Lol I'm trying too will myself to get up and do the wii but I'm feeling lazy been super good with food though Grin

fizzy, I am naturally lazy, really I am. However, something clicked last week, 1st of June and I kind of set myself a target of exercising 5 times in a week. Hasn't been difficult as I am usually awake/up 5.30/6am so just using my time more effectively, or so I hope Grin.

waitingtobeamummy · 08/06/2012 22:22

Hi all, please can I join? I've list 4Stone so far but my fertility specialist says I need to lose another 24lb in 12 weeks. He's convinced it will be east for me but I'm really scared I won't manage it. I had an operation 3 weeks ago and so can't exercise yet and finding it very frustrating!

Tortoise · 09/06/2012 09:23

Today I weigh 15st 11. Is that 4lbs loss? Was 16st. Really pleased that its a loss. Went to the beach yesterday and walked miles along sort of gravel stoney beach which left my legs aching like mad last night! Was quite hard to walk on.

Fizzybee With 4dc from age 15 to 7, I wouldn't get away with saying that about the Wii fit.Grin I can set it up though lol so will do it more when all back at school.

MumPotNoodle · 09/06/2012 14:10

Just been looking on youtube and there are masses of workouts on there! why didn't I think of this before [palm to forehead].Grin

Tortoise · 09/06/2012 15:04

Got the my fitness pal app on my phone today. Taken up loads of space but looks good. Had to delete a few games to get it lol.
Did 30 mins of digging in my garden then the handle snapped of the spade! Not happy!

MumPotNoodle · 09/06/2012 15:08

Grin @ spade snapping. I was on mfp last year but it all seemed pretty hardcore!

Hello Blush can I join you all please. I really need to lose weight and get fit (5'6 or 5'7 depending on which leg I stand on and, ahem, 16 stone give or take a pound or two) I actually lost weight with both pregnancies but piled it on with breastfeeding Sad. Stopped bfg 6 months ago so time to shed the bulk. Big occasion in Sept I'd like to lose weight for, not worried about a number, I just want to feel and look good ultimately. My downfall is chocolate, I SHALL resist and I'm going to start eating healthier all round and excercise. Plan is to swim twice a week, provided OH (who has already lost 2+ stone) is about to look after the kids. Am hoping that if I make myself 'report' my weight loss to you all it will encourage me to keep at it! Good luck to one and all Smile

MumPotNoodle · 09/06/2012 22:38

madcap, I have never seen/done the shred, I am too scared after reading posts on MN about the after pain Grin.

MumPotNoodle · 09/06/2012 22:43

Should have added that whilst looking on youtube for exercise routines I happened upon a shred-a-like in the shape of Tiffany Rothe. Have saved a couple to favourites and will start them on Monday. Can't do links but check her out on YouTube.

Tortoise · 09/06/2012 22:52

I did 60 days of the shred dvd once! Didn't do it everyday though. I did lose a few inches here and there but not as much as I had hoped from all.that hard work!

Gone over calorie allowance according to.mfp.Blush Just shows me that I probably often still eat more than I should.

MumPotNoodle · 09/06/2012 23:00

Tortoise, you are braver than me by doing the Shred and logging your food diary on mfp Grin.

Tortoise · 10/06/2012 08:30

Grin haven't shredded for at least a year! Found it got boring after a while. Just haven't found a workout to replace it.

MumPotNoodle · 10/06/2012 08:51

Happens a lot doesn't it, you find a great workout and then you reach saturation point and can't be bothered, this is why I was looking on Youtube for alternatives.

MumPotNoodle · 10/06/2012 08:53

ooh, just realised, exactly two months until my summer holiday Grin. Must shake off this damn cold and get moving!

Collision · 10/06/2012 09:02

Im in too! Got a spa weekend at the beginning of Aug with a party to go too as well.

spoke to DH about my new fitness plan and he said to go for it. So WW diet and zumba plus kettle bells. the boys have said they will cycle and run with me so ....................I just need to get out of bed.

Will post my weight once I have been weighed.

Wolfiefan · 10/06/2012 09:03

Can I jump in for some motivation? Pretty you could be me! Now 14 st 2 but just over 17st at the end of Jan. 40 later this year and a few things planned for before then so need to keep going. Had planned a 5k race ann trained for a few months but hurt my back so only walking now. Hoping you lot will help keep me on this path and next year I'll have a gorgeous new wardrobe!
