Yes, it is cushion plumping time again Grin

Pull up your favourite chair (I'm bagging the one in the corner thanks Grin) stick your feet up and join in with the nattering.

Plenty of room for everyone Grin

grinningbee · 02/05/2012 21:53

Hedgepig · 02/05/2012 22:10

Nice pad Bee thanks for our new home Grin, you will get to 10st for sure this tread.

Congrats on the new job CSWS well done .

Well done everyone this week . I'm off to bed as I am totally done in, see you all tomorrow

kid · 02/05/2012 22:16

I posted on the old thread but I'll stick it here too incase others have moved over permanently.

Great title btw, you are very good at coming up with these. It would take me forever!

I made syn free custard tarts tonight. I managed to burn them but they are still edible and surprisingly nice (without the pastry)

Congratulations on the job CSWS, you'll be fine leaving your babies and you will enjoy your tim together even more.

Hedge, exciting news that you bought a house. Good luck with the move, hope everything comes together smoothly.

Fairhaired, If the change in your job is going to make life easier for your family then its definitely the right thing to have done.

Well done choc, great loss.
Well done to everyone else too, looks like a good week all round.
I can live with my sts as its star week but as long as I have a loss next week I won't stamp my feet too loudly.

I've also cut out pepsi max and have switched to tea or water instead. I really, really miss it though but I'll survive without it.

Food for today has been different to what I usually have.
Lunch was quite nice but I didn't really like the fromage frais dressing, the chicken was lovely though.
For dinner tonight, I made chicken stuffed with cheese traingles and onions and wrapped in bacon (fat removed) served on baby spinach leaves.

I also had a 2 finger kitkat (6 syns?) but I also had some cakes at work today so I have gone over syns but I don't care. If I'd lost maybe I'd have been a little more focused. Besides, I've got a week to pull it back.

I took my dog out the back of my house earlier so he could go to the toilet. I then decided to go for a longer walk with him. An hour or so later, we got back home soaking. I really love walking him, he is lovely. I prefer it if we don't bump in to dogs roaming around alone though, makes me nervous. Me and DD are going to take him for an hour walk each night come rain or shine. Best get my rainmac out I think.

brafullofcrumbs · 02/05/2012 22:22

hello everyone on the new thread :)
sorry i didn't pm you bee - i was hoping you'd take my gain from earlier posting but the fact you glossed over it is fine by me :o

Bra! I'm so sorry Blush I didn't mean to leave you off the list. I just forgot to check if anyone had posted rather than pm'd. Sorry again

CSWS Congrats on the new job Smile

Hedge Yay for the new house!! Hope it all goes really smoothly for you. Oooh, so many of us are on the move this year.

Food for the day:

Weetabix and a banana

Omelette with cherry tomatoes, 2 x extra light cheese triangles (part of hea) and mushy peas (on the side, not in it!), 1 tbs tomato sauce (1 syn), yogurt

Quorn sticky bbq fillets with baked beans and oven chips (7 syns)

Might have 2 alpen lights for the other heb this evening. They're not addictive are they... Blush

I'm going to be great to be next to after eating mushy peas and beans in the same day. Mwahahahaha Wink. Oh, and star week has started. Joy. Kid I'm sure it was you asking the other day - I tend to retain water in the run up to and during it, and then the following week it comes off again.

I had egg fried rice for lunch today, it was even better than its ever tasted before. I had rice left over from dinner last night so I put it in the fridge. It was even better than the chinese takeaway one.

I am so busy tonight, I'm not pleased about it. I've got to sort dinner quickly and eat before I go gym at 5:30. I then have to pick DD up from her friends at 7 when I finish gym. Its a really hard class and I know I'll be in complete agony in the morning.

At least its Friday tomorrow, so need a rest!

kid · 03/05/2012 17:52

The custard tart recipe should be a banana and custard mullerlight.
I made some more tonight, they are amazing.

CantSleepWontSleep · 03/05/2012 22:24

Ooh quiet on here today!
Food diary:

B banana
snack: leftover salmon and a pear
L easy bean tagine & cous cous
D home made steak and kidney and mushrooms, potato & parsnip mash, carrots, stringless beans, cabbage
home made with the children teeny tiny cakes with icing! No idea how many syns, but on the bright side they used courgette rather than fat, so it's just the sugar and flour and ground almonds to worry about Hmm.
snack: peanut hifi bar (HEb).

LakeFlyPie · 03/05/2012 22:39

Sounds interesting kid, if not more custard than tart!
May get some banana and custard mullers and give it a go.

I've got a rare friday off work tomorrow and am planning on sending DC to nursery as usual and having a whirlwind day of spring cleaning.
Will hopefully have time to fit a swim in before nursery pick up time.

Haven't been quite as strict today and some nibbling crept in at work buffet and also childrens' teatime but don't think I've gone too far over on syns and will try and factor it in for the rest of the week.

Food (green):

BF: All bran (HEb), banana, sk milk (HEa)
L: Hobbit ham sandwich, tomatoes, apple, orange, strawberries. Half a rocky road marshmallow laden cake thing, 5 minstrels (although did manage to avoid all of the bread, cheese, pate and the enormous homebaked gooey chocolate fudge cake) (? 10 syns at a guess)
D: Wholewheat spaghetti with tomato, pepper + chilli sauce. Stewed rhubarb, strawberries and strawberry FF yog (? 5 syns)
S:1/4 pitta bread, scrape of houmous, 3 tsps custard (? 5 syns)

FairhairedandFrustrated · 03/05/2012 23:33

Hello!!

I just took my last ever class at one of my groups, am very sad, but it will mean a better work/life balance for us.

Good day today;
B: melon, blueberries, kiwi with activia
L: mugshot and 2 apples (rushed)
D: pork with packet of rice.... Haven't managed my 1/23 Superfree today, I usually do!! Bummer,

Hea milk
HeB 2 Hifi lights :)

Tomorrow will be similar brekkie and lots of fruit throughout morning / maybe salad of some sort for lunch, and spag Bol for din.

FaceCrack · 04/05/2012 06:47

Morning all. I'm back!

Found you, it took me a while to work out where you had all gone. I was worried for a bit.

Things are ok here, INSANE week at work. I'm glad it's Friday. Diet wise, it hasn't been great as my penchant for biscuits has risen again. Smile I haven't been exercising as I'm still wheezing away.

Anyway, great list on the other thread. Don't have time to write personally but all round!

Food:
B: weetabix (HeB) fruit
L: omelette and salad
D: out tonight ... God knows. There WILL be wine Grin.

grinningbee · 04/05/2012 08:05

Good morning!

Awww FHF hope you're feeling a bit happier this morning ((hug)). It must have been sad, but you know it'll be better.

Face!! I was beginning to wonder where you'd got to young lady Grin Sounds like you deserve at least a vat of wine tonight.

Today I am spending the day with the usual chores, an off colour dd (ds is still asleep Shock so yet to see what he's like), trawling ebay for a car, big food shop and waiting in for a delivery. Not necessarily in that order!

Food for today will be:

Ready brek, 1 x ryvita with 1 tsp jam (0.5 syn), banana
Omelette, yogurt, apple
Beef rogan josh, veggies and either 2 x slices hobbit bread or 2 x alpen lights

OP posts:
Chocolategirl3 · 04/05/2012 11:46

Worked on elections yesterday and survived the huge test of not stuffing my face!!!

I did end up having 32.5 syns but thats because there was no microwave so we had to order in food for our dinner.

Was proud i only had 16 large chocolate buttons and 1 maryland cookie, believe me if past years are anything to go by i would easily eat a months worth of syns in a day.

Ate a lot of fruit and sent the naughty stuff back my poll clerks way!

So cutting back today, however at a meal on Saturday night (not drinking though) so allowing another 30 syns for that which means i should only go over this week by 0.5 syns- theoretically that is!

kid · 04/05/2012 15:44

I've been good food wise and gym wise all week. I've stayed within syn allowance easily so I expect to have a loss this week. What a shame its only Friday and a bank holiday weekend so the risk of it all going wrong is very high. I'll try and be good. It would be shame to undo all my good work I've done this week.

Still got some decorating to finish off before next weekend as the carpets are being fitted but I'm sure I'll get there eventually.

grinningbee · 04/05/2012 16:58

You'll have a loss Kid. You've been far too good!

I've also stuck rigidly to it, and well within syns too. But star week is in full swing and I am all bloaty and 'orrible.

I was right about my food combination yesterday. It seems that a mixture of quorn, baked beans, mushy peas, eggs and ryvitas over the course of a day create some rather impressive gases Grin I could be a one woman WMD today.

Did I mention I am also uncouth?

Ah well, someone has to lower the tone. Might as well be me! Wink

OP posts:
kid · 04/05/2012 18:01

Will you be trying that food combination again? Sounds lethal Grin

I am shattered and have been asleep for the past hour. I've got to pick ds up at 6:30 so maybe I should get up now.
Friday night is takeaway night, even when doing sw. I stick to veg biryani or chicken chowmein which are both ok on green days. It's lovely to have a night off from cooking.

FairhairedandFrustrated · 04/05/2012 18:09

LOL grinningbee, our local council would be signing a petition to have you removed lol

Today's food has been good so far!

B: chopped melon, kiwi and blueberries topped with mandarin muller light
morning snack: 2 plums and a coffee
L: chicken salad with chicken (obviously!) and rocket leaves, baby tomatoes, green peppers, loads of beetroot and a spoonful of saladcream (1.5syns).
Followed by an apple, a plum and a small bunch of grapes.
D: SW style spag bol :) Dh has made a home made cheesy garlic bread, which I may allow some syns for, well, it's either that or a glass of wine later.....

Also had 3 caramel nibble sweets from workmate, dunno what to count for them, they're like giant buttons really.

Back later :)

Hope everyone is doing well!! :)

grinningbee · 04/05/2012 20:17

Kid A night off cooking sounds lovely, and I don't blame you.

FHF Sod the garlic bread - go for the wine Grin

Um, we'll have to see if I eat that lot on the same day again. If I have a decent loss then maybe Grin. I can only begin to imagine how eating the speed curry would make me...
