Help! I have only managed to have one glass of the bottle of wine. Sad There will still be wine in the fridge tomorrow. Shock

puds11 · 09/04/2012 22:12

I command you to go back and force it down! You know it will torment you tomorrow if you dont!

Sparklingbrook · 09/04/2012 22:13

But then I will be hungover and cooking a slap up grill with bacon and eggs in the morning!

HouseLikeAZoo · 10/04/2012 07:57

Right. Here we go. We can do this.

Sparklingbrook · 10/04/2012 08:01

I am drinking a pint of water first while I debate the non bread or butter breakfast. Smile

mrspepperpotty · 10/04/2012 08:15

Did you resolve the wine dilemma sparkling?!

Need to know your normal name samantha!

I weighed in at 12 stone 8lb this morning. I'm 5'8" so that's a BMI of 26.8 (was lower before the Easter holidays!) - I'd really like to get below 25.

Still too much chocolate in this house despite my best attempts to 'clear' it over the weekend!!

Sparklingbrook · 10/04/2012 08:20

No, wine still in fridge. Sad But if I'm careful I could have a glass with my salads. Grin

I weighed myself on Saturday (the day I had to go in the loft and get the big clothes down) so not doing it again today as it will be more. Sad

Going to try and do my 3 mile walk today too.

Sparklingbrook · 10/04/2012 08:23

What's anyone having for breakfast?

mrspepperpotty · 10/04/2012 08:26

Err... chocolate mainly Blush

mrspepperpotty · 10/04/2012 08:27

But my normal healthy breakfast is porridge with skimmed milk

Sparklingbrook · 10/04/2012 08:28

I think I am going to inspect the cereal cupboard. I need to go shopping to do this diet properly but we do have various cereals. I had Coco Pops for breakfast every day with my last diet. Grin

heliumballoons · 10/04/2012 08:39

Can I join? Would love to lose 5 kg but mostly need to tone up. I did start running this year but that soon stopped after missing a few due to the rain. Blush

Am swimming once a week for 30 minutes.

Need to do more and snack less!

mrspepperpotty · 10/04/2012 08:48

I think weetabix is the healthiest cereal - but go with coco pops if that works for you!!

Hello helium. Agree exercise is easier when the weather is better.

Samantha does your normal name start with F??

ElectricSoftParade · 10/04/2012 08:54

Grr, have typed out two very witty and amusing posts and both times the internet connection has gone down! So, you will have to make do with this one:

Good luck!

poppiesmom · 10/04/2012 09:06

Right of to a good start here!!!!! (need it to last!!!!)
Fruit and fibre 4 breakfast....

Lunch.... MMMMMM... not sure yet... maybe salad.... Diner Jacket potato ...
Must get to the shops and buy plenty of fruit!!!!!

The secret is in the preperation!!!! AND NOT STUFFING YOURSELF SILLY ( LIKE I DO) ... GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL... X [SMILE]

FauxFox · 10/04/2012 09:58

< sneaks in and hides at the back >

I'm in. I have not weighed but I am 5ft 8 and approx 11st7. I'd like to be just under 10st. I am sneaking in because I seem to start or join a thread in here about 3 times a year, lose half a stone then stop and put it back on...until the next time Sad

I am not weighing in this time. It gives me a false sense of achievement and makes me think "oh that'll do" and stop. I am going for thinner thighs and a flat tummy instead!

My vice is wine so i'll be trying to cut right down on that and drink more water instead. I also need to get back into running.

Good luck everyone Smile

sassytheFIRST · 10/04/2012 10:12

Greek yoghurt and an apple for breakfast. Mild hangover from last night but twas great fun!

Have put myfitnesspal on my phone - such a useful app. Now need to use it (and be honest Wink)

Have a good day, all.

ShipsCat · 10/04/2012 10:28

Please can I join you?
I need to lose 1.5 stone to be pre-DD weight, then another 1 to get back to pre-DTs weight. My first goal is to lose a stone for SIL's wedding in July.
I was doing exercise DVDs every day, but between a knackered knee and golfers' elbow, haven't done any for a few weeks.
My aim is to get back into doing the exercise every day, and cut down on the alcohol whilst vegging in front of the TV in the evenings Smile

Sparklingbrook · 10/04/2012 10:57

CocoPops and Peach Yoghurt for breakfast. Onto my next pint of water.....

saffronwblue · 10/04/2012 11:39

So, here I am at the end of Tuesday( in Oz.) NOt much exercise as was at work. Had a small piece of quiche for lunch and a steak for dinner. It would appear I am doing low carbs!
I will drink lots of water this evening and have camomile tea before bed. No glass of wine tonight and there is no more chocolate in the house!

Sparklingbrook · 10/04/2012 12:23

Well done saffron. Grin I am having a panic. I am too scared to eat anything. Sad

DS1 has his friend round and they are currently ordering pizza. Envy

puds11 · 10/04/2012 12:24

Afternoon ladies. Not off to a good start, my DD just won 250 mini eggs at the nursery easter prize draw. I'll find out later if she has won a 3ft chocolate rabbit Confused. Its the first time ive hoped i dont win something!

Its all going wrong! I'm thinking im going to have a slim fast shake for lunch, with a youghurt and fruit chaser.
Is everyone feeling confident?
[waves energetically to new joiners]
