Count me in!

MumPotNoodle · 08/04/2012 17:12

Water, I forgot that I need to drink more water, adds to list of dos and don'ts.

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2012 17:14

I have lost 3 stone 4 times in the last 17 years. Sad I do know what to do.

MumPotNoodle · 08/04/2012 17:18

Well the good thing is that you know that you can achieve it so once there you need to learn how to maintain (hopes that is encouraging) I can't actually visualise myself anything but barrel shaped which is a bit of a demotivator. Onwards and upwards I guess.

Anyone else have a plan to share?

HouseLikeAZoo · 08/04/2012 17:46

My rather unimaginative plan is keeping an eye on the calories (have the my fitness pal app for that), doing shred and swimming. I have lost a bit in the last seven weeks but really I need to ramp it up if I'm going to get anywhere. The trouble is, I'm really REALLY sick of it and desperately crave a big old crisp & wine fest...

Oh for some blue Doritos

mrspepperpotty · 08/04/2012 18:12

Can I join you?

I have lost half a stone since the beginning of this year but would like to lose another one and a half stone. My weaknesses are crisps and cake, also need to watch portion size, esp carbs.

DC3 starts playgroup after Easter so I should finally have a bit more time to fit in some exercise!

RufflingFeathers · 08/04/2012 18:21

I'm in too ! have lost 1.5stone but could do with losing another 0.5stone, don't want to lose momentum...but quick question.....
HOW ON EARTH ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO THIS WHEN THE HOUSE IS BRIMMING FULL OF CHOCOLATE ?????????????????!!!!!

sassytheFIRST · 08/04/2012 18:31

Me please

Am about a stone heavier than I like to be - though only about 5lbs more than for the last 3 years. I also have a BIG birthday in dec and I will not be fat and forty dammit!

TerraNotSoFirma · 08/04/2012 19:10

I'm in! size 16, 5ft 6' and 13st 5lbs. Ideally I would like to lose 2 stones.

I have 8 bottles of slimfast (ready mixed stuff, which I had bought when I was ill and couldn't eat anything) So I thought I would use them up for the first 4 days of the diet as a kick start.

I am planning an hour of fast walking in the morning, then some callanetics in the evening.

Another thing I am hoping will help is going to bed early as 11pm is usually when I have a pate and toast fest! So if any of you see me posting on here after 9.30pm feel free to kick me up the ass!

I really want to change my lifestyle and attitude towards food though, It's important to me that DD doesn't see me struggling with my weight and being as lazy towards exercise as I am currently. I want her to see me being healthy I suppose.

I don't have scales, Do any of you have ones you would recommend?

puds11 · 08/04/2012 19:21

I have some slim fast shakes, i might use those to hopefull kick start the weight loss.
Drinking more water is a brill idea! i really need to start doing that.
Maybe we should all vow to do half an hour extra exercise than we already do 3 times a week? what do you think?

I have begun! I had a lovely big salad with smoked salmon for dinner and I feel nicely full.

Will not mention the MacD's I had for breakfast or the roast chicken we had for lunch

I am going to do it. I am! We all will!

Can I please join? Ideally I'd like to lose a stone but would settle for half if it meant I could get into some of my summer clothes. After having DD1 I reached my best fitness point ever, a sensible weight and able to jog/run 4 miles with ease. Then I had DD2 and it all went a bit wrong. She is now 20months old and although I've re-employed my personal trainer (can't stand gyms and he's cheaper!) I'm lacking motivation on the food front.

I've got the myfitness pal app too but fairly patchy at using it. Also a desk based job does little to help on those days when it's dull and chocolate is calling me.

I'm away at the moment but home tomorrow night and Tuesday is my restart day.

Sparklingbrook · 08/04/2012 22:59

Tuesday is the day for a few of us cbmum. It needs to be done. Grin We can all have a better summer then.

puds11 · 09/04/2012 10:39

welcome cbmum tuesday is a good day to start, it means you can eat remaove all the temptation from the house before we start Grin

Sparklingbrook · 09/04/2012 12:27

Right, we have one more day (well half really). Hoover everything up while you still can.

We start tomorrow.

sassytheFIRST · 09/04/2012 13:53

So... 30 mins on cross trainer plus 15 mins serving tennis balls for me this morning.

According to myfitnesspal I am still -35 cals after lunch. However got loads of mates and kids over later for Easter egg hunt, beer and takeaway. Hmmm.

Sparklingbrook · 09/04/2012 14:37

Well done sassy. I like the beer and takeaway idea. Grin

Yay poppies. Grin I have a bottle of wine for tonight and have just had my last cheese sandwich for a while.
