Still at 5lbs down but spent weekend chasing around London and eating pasta (friend doing marathon so we all carb-loaded in sympathy ) so not too worried.

Keep checking how others are doing even if I don't post. Keep it up y'all Smile

The downside of daily weighing is that yesterday's weight loss no longer exists.i am refusing to accept this morning's weigh in though, as I had a salty dinner and worked out hard last night.

Onwards and downwards!

puds11 · 26/04/2012 17:18

Im on the 2nd day of the 30 day shred and i hurt everywhere. Jillian is a meany! Even my DP agrees with that. She shouts at me Sad
I can barely walk today. Does the pain subside?

puds11 · 27/04/2012 22:10

Am back to 10 8. Phew. I have just got to keep my resolve. Staying off the wheat and potatoes has helped a lot.

puds11 · 28/04/2012 17:08

Well done mammoth not sure i could live without wheat and tatties though!

I have had a Not Good couple of days, but will be back on the wagon tomorrow with running and shred.

Have also ordered Insanity - quite scared.

Minimammoth · 28/04/2012 18:51

Just had chips. Failed emoticon. But they were so good.

lolajane2009 · 28/04/2012 20:48

Hopefully · 29/04/2012 09:52

Hi Lolajane and welcome! We're all attempting to shed a bit in our own little ways, with varying degrees of commitment and success.

puds11 · 29/04/2012 18:02

Welcome Lolajane. What are your plans to loose weight?
I am on day 5 of the 30 day shred at the mo! Its going well!

5 days Puds - you're doing really well! I think I'd found an excuse to duck out at least once by Day 5 when I started.

I'm really geared up to start Insanity now, can't wait for it to arrive. Presumably it means I can eat more Grin.

Minimammoth · 30/04/2012 08:33

I have managed not to put weight on this weekend despite the chips. Fingers crossed for a proper loss. hopefully 'insanity' ? My god are you training for the Olympics? I am sticking to vigorous housework, gardening ( though non of that happening tbh. And yoga. Oh and walking more briskly. Am a complete wimp.[ grin]

DoUntoOtters · 30/04/2012 09:59

Good morning everyone. No weight-loss this week for me - completely scuppered by DH and the DCs on a mammoth baking session over the weekend.

I'm shifting over to BIWI's low-carb thread as I seem to be the only one doing that on here, but will pop back to check on your progress!

Good luck!

puds11 · 30/04/2012 19:44

Bleurgh! On day 6 now, but honestly feel fatter than when i started! Sad

Puds keep going! I seem to remember holding an awful lot of water weight when I started (think it's such a shock to the system that muscles hold on to lots for recovery). Make sure you're eating plenty of protein and drinking lots of water. And sleeping enough at night, it really helps.

puds11 · 01/05/2012 16:24

Thanks hopefully im really struggling with motivation at the minute!

OP posts:
Minimammoth · 01/05/2012 16:48

Puds, keep going. Visualise yourself all toned and strong. You will have definition and everything. < slumps on sofa with tinternet>.
I' m good at cheer leading, that's me with the pompoms and the muffin top.

puds11 · 01/05/2012 21:54

Keep those pompoms to hand mini im gonna need them again im sure Smile

Go Puds, go Puds, go Puds.

I think I may have lost another 0.2lb, bringing my total weight loss for the past 3 weeks or so up to a whopping 0.4lb Hmm. I can see I am (a bit) smaller though - all the Shredding is reshaping me, even of the scales aren't budging.

Insanity arrived yesterday, am going to do the first fitness test today. Eep!

MABS · 02/05/2012 06:56

i been terrible gals :( no execcise and lots of wine, but i haven't gained, neither have i lost tho of course .

mrspepperpotty · 02/05/2012 09:40

Hello, you may remember me from a couple of weeks ago, well it's been a bad couple of weeks diet-wise! Blush

I've been really busy and stressed and the diet has completely gone out of the window, but things have calmed down now and I am ready to join you again. Weighed myself this morning and I've put on 1lb in that time - I thought it would be worse.

Well done everyone who has lost!

Hopefully · 02/05/2012 16:17

Mrspepperpotty only 1lb is great, you'll get shot of that again in no time. What are you planning to do to restart? Exercise, healthy eating, or some combination?
