So whether you have a little or a lot to lose, join me for a weekly weigh in - we could even have a slimmer of the week.

Just add your stats (don't be scared) - but I think it works if you're really honest.

Why: Just want to be more comfortable in my clothes that are a bit tight & I'm going to be 40 later this year.
Method: Mainly low fat with a vague eye on carbs

I hope there are some others out there, who are up for a weekly weigh in & some mutual support & tips.

Just weighed myself before hopping in the bath and I'm back up 1lb to the stubborn to get below 11 st exactly.

Why does my weight always stick on the round numbers !

( But I was wearing a tampon at the time so I'm blaming that ! They're very heavy right ! And actually I guess there could be something in the water retention etc. theory )

I knew women were meant to get in sync with their cycles - but in cyber space ?!

Its the wine that does it for me on holiday I think as I don't normally drink alcohol. Its free at the evening meal, the 3 course evening meal.......oh well, it was all very good.

I was hoping that as I had given up alcohol completely that I would have lost weight.

My DP said that we lost so much weight in the first two weeks we couldn't expect to keep it up really. He hasn't lost a pound either.

Perhaps DD is spiking our diet drinks with lard.

A whole pound. Seriously I have realised I have got to the point I. Life where I have to monitor portion sizes and weigh food sometimes. Amazing that only a small overeating can keep the weight off!
Have been good and made my big beamy chilli for lunches this week. Must keep it up. I havealso added Quorn to boost the protein content .

Well I'm back on MyFitnessPal to keep a track of caloroes in and out (exercise). I really do find it helps and I have to do it as I go along. Otherwise I get to the end of the day and put it all on and I'm usually way over. Its so easy just to think that I've not eaten much and therefore that extra biscuit will be OK, etc.

Hello everyone - sorry been a bit quiet, been busy at work and was helping a friend move house this weekend.

Anyway good first half of week for me, followed by Ok middle of week, followed by rubbish end of week. Wrong time of month too, always makes me feel tired and want to indulge.

I have stayed same so back on it for this week. And I think our slimmer of the week is AfternoonNap with 3lbs. Well done to everyone who is staying with the thread whatever your results.

Why: To be healthier. To look better in my clothes (most of which don't even fit at the moment: Because I have a posh dinner dance coming up and a lovely frock to wear that will look better if I lose some of the weight.
Method: Cal counting on myfitnesspal.com. Sticking to 3 meals and an evening snack if really hungry/have cals left to have one. Weekly zumba and most weeks a swimming session too.

Why: To be healthier. I am only 5ft 2.5" so am far too heavy. Also, looking better in clothes would be nice too.

Glad im not the only one who gives up wine and immediately expects the flab the melt away in deference to my extreme sacrifice getorf.
Low carbing for me is going to have to be no bread, no pasta, and lots of quorn fillets and eggs.
What is this exante drink loveliness? Is it as expensive as the cambridge one?

Weigh in at SW this morning, -1lb, so that's me now 11st 4lbs. I was 11st 12 in August so quite happy.

I didn't do any walking in the past week compared with the week before when I walked about 6 miles across the week, although I did a Kettlebells class.

Big push this week as I'd like to lose 2-3 lbs by next Wed, to keep me close to my goal of 6-7 lbs a month.

I had a sneaky mid week weigh yesterday and have lost about 5lbs since Tuesday, but seeing as I put on 5lbs the week before its not that amazing. Was 12st 10lbs - I am determined to be 12st or under by end of Feb.

Had weetabix for breakfast, salad for lunch. Got a m&s fuller for longer meal for dinner tonight.

Can I join you all tomorrow? I started last tues so first weigh in will be first thing tomorrow. Was 11 st 13 lbs... Aiming for 9st 8lbs. Doing calorie counting, using food focus. Aiming for 1.5lb a week... Should reach my target by my birthday hopefully. Do need to sort out some exercise tho don't do any at the mo.

I am just coming on the thread to say that my weightloss carried on in leaps and bounds and have lost 5lbs altogether, which means I have lost a whole STONE since this caper started.

I am putting this on this thread because SOD'S LAW I would have put on some again tomorrow!

The Exante diet drink stuff is revolting. The bars are OK but the soups and shakes are inedbile, imo, so have given it all to DP and am just low carbing vaguely.

Good luck everyone and welcome humongo. If you are looking for excercise I can heartily recommend the 30 Day Shred DVD - it's a fiver on Amazon at the mo, and it is brilliant. 20 min workout which is easy to fit in every day.

Well I've lost 4lbs this week which is good, however I'm 3 lbs heavier than I was 2 days ago which is a bit odd. Think my mid week sneaky weigh in must have been wrong but couldn't help but be a bit disappointed this morning.

First weigh in and I lost 7lbs in a week which i am a bit Hmm about. I weighed myself twice both times on diff bits of the floor. I know it is good but was more than I expected and I have been hungry this week. Will keep doing same this week and see if it settles down.

Hooray - i've got my half stone badge this week! Just seen that I intended to do this with no chocolate - ha! My little bag of maltesers or buttons that I have every night is the only thing that gets me through the day! I'm so pleased with my progress so far, although I am starting to crave some more interesting food. I think that's more to do with being skint and short of time in January though - will get some nice treaty things in for this weekend as a it's payday today HOORAY!
