Ditsydotty · 03/01/2012 16:23

So whether you have a little or a lot to lose, join me for a weekly weigh in - we could even have a slimmer of the week.

Just add your stats (don't be scared) - but I think it works if you're really honest.

Ditsydotty
Joining Date: 3rd Jan
Starting weight: 11st 1lb
Target weight: 10st 4lb
Why: Just want to be more comfortable in my clothes that are a bit tight & I'm going to be 40 later this year.
Method: Mainly low fat with a vague eye on carbs

I hope there are some others out there, who are up for a weekly weigh in & some mutual support & tips.

Gah! Fucking hell. Put on two pounds since yestreday. The most depressing thing with weighing yourselves every day is seeing how much your weight fluctuates on a daily basis.

never mind, I still lost 3lb in a week.

VivaLeBeaver · 31/01/2012 10:48

Well done Ultimate, thats a great loss.

peaky123 · 31/01/2012 13:58

3 pounds off this week, bloody hard work though.
Been using my fitness pal which is a massive change from the slimming world plans I have done before, but am enjoying it.
Also been shredding every other day, have ordered jillian the torturers ripped in 30 dvd too, anyone tried it?

VivaLeBeaver · 31/01/2012 14:43

I've got Ripped in 30 as well but haven't dared try it yet. I'm still on Lvl 1 of 30ds. I did go up to Lvl 2 and found it ok but then hurt my back badly and ended up in hospital - and I wasn't sure if it was coincidence or Lvl 2 that did for my back so haven't dared touch it again. Hospitalised by 30day shred Grin

VivaLeBeaver · 31/01/2012 14:44

Well done on the 3lbs as well, that's brilliant.

Ditsydotty · 31/01/2012 20:53

WOW - slimmer of the week & welcome to Ultimate !! An Amazing 7lbs. I've had a disappointing 1lb off, but keep reminding myself that if I hadn't done it at all I'd be feeling a lot worse.

Well done everyone.

Oh yes, and between us all we've lost around 80lbs !

OP posts:
LAbaby · 31/01/2012 21:42

I know I'm a month late to this, but have been doing ww and weighing every Tuesday so could I join?
Weighed in today at 138.6lbs, down 1.2lbs this week and 5.8lbs since start of January.
I actually started weight watchers before Christmas so am down 15.8lbs in total and have lost 10% of my body weight.
I am dieting to lose my baby weight, and aiming for 125lbs, which is a healthy weight for my height, 5ft2. I was 120lbs before my son was born but not hoping to get back to that until I finish breast feeding. I am trying to stick to a slow and steady weight loss so milk supply isn't affected, but am jealous of how quickly some of you have done it!

MyChildDoesntNeedSleep · 31/01/2012 22:07

Do you guys mind if I join you? I've been weighing in on a Thursday, but I weighed myself this morning.

Current weight: 9st 9lb
Goal weight: 9st(ish) will re-evaluate as I get there.
Height: 5'9 1/2
Why: I'm just happiest at this weight. Haven't been to the gym in about 6 months and it shows! Shock

JugglingWithSnowballs · 01/02/2012 12:47

Yesterday was a bit busy ( DH back from India trip + my birthday )
so weighed myself today instead

10st 12lbs

(so down 2lbs from start = a nice steady 1 lb a week (with a few ups and downs!)

1/2 stone by Spring ?? Smile

YourCallIsImportant · 01/02/2012 13:15

SW this morning, and 2lb off this week. Now 11st 2lbs. Chuffed with this as I was 11st 12 in September. I hope I can get under 11st next week. Fingers xd.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 02/02/2012 09:47

Well done everyone, and thanks very much to ditsy for keeping track of everything. It is great to see that between us all we have lost 80lbs!

JugglingWithSnowballs · 02/02/2012 10:20

Don't forget my two GetOrf (SW yesterday) = 82lbs + 2 from YourCall = 84lbs
(not to mention fab effort from LA Smile - just joining us)

Well done all Smile

GetOrfMoiiLand · 02/02/2012 10:38

ooh sorry juggling.

That is pretty impressive isn't it - hopefully we will get to above 100lbs loss next week between us all.

Minimammoth · 02/02/2012 14:35

82lbs!! thats nearly a whole person.

peaky123 · 02/02/2012 19:19

viva i did level 2 of the shred for the first time yesterday. Holy mother of god. I nearly died an embarrasing and painful death. Major arse ache today.

Flossbert · 06/02/2012 12:32

Oh god I am DREADING weigh-in tomorrow. My weekend started on Thursday and carried on all the way through to Sunday night and I feel all bloated with red wine, pork crackling and disappointment this morning. Must get back into the mindset of filling myself up with fizzy water and shitty delicious cup-a-soups and not chocolate and cheese. Dieting SUCKS.
Grin

TobyLeWolef · 06/02/2012 12:38

I feel all bloated with red wine, pork crackling and disappointment this morning

Hahahahahaha :o

Mine's going to be awful too. I'll hold your hand.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 06/02/2012 12:43

I have been eating perfectly all damn week and got on the scales this morning - 11 stone 6.

WHY?

I have exercised like a demon however, perhaps I really am converting all my fat into muscles?

I look very slim - especially arms and legs and stomach - so some good has been done.

But HOW fristrating when the weight doesn't shift. Iw ould feel so happy if I could get just under 11 stone.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 06/02/2012 12:44

Wish I was bloody well bloated with red wine.

I really fancied a drink on saturday - but said NO like the Pollyanna I was. I should have just said bollocks to it and drunk a bottle for all the good it has done

Flossbert · 06/02/2012 13:10

Well that's bloody irritating - just wrote a reply and MN bloody well vanished for a bit, taking my reply away with it. Anyway, to summarise what I was saying (but far less wittily than I had previously written it)
Are you saying you've had nowt to drink all this time GetOrf? That's mightly impressive if so.
Thanks for the hand Toby. Let's see what tomorrow brings.

GetOrfMoiiLand · 06/02/2012 13:13

I HAVEN'T HAD A DRINK SINCE 2011

Sorry, I had to shout that. I feel a bit shouty Grin

I have also had no chips, no chocolate, no doritos, no houmous, no tarte au citron, no peanut M&Ms, no sausage sandwiches, no roast potatoes, no cheese toasties, no frazzles.

I feel a bit bloody deprived.

I am tempted to start a cocaine habit so I can have some fun in life Grin

Flossbert · 06/02/2012 13:21

Wowsers! That is some willpower. I am not surprised you feel deprived. The only thing that i've really stuck to is no bread, and that's no hardship cos I don't really like bread and have launched a bit of a one-woman campaign to get the breadbin and toaster off the worktop in our tiny kitchen.

No calories in cocaine. You fill yer boots!
