Having a chicken dinner tonight (DH at work til 3 so no Sunday lunch for us) and had a bacon sandwich (ww bacon) for breakfast.

KinkyDorito - My DH is tall and thin too. He eats whatever he likes and stays that way Envy

KnockedUpMell - I've been doing the 30 Day shred too. Started on the same day I started WW so Wednesday. I only do weekdays as there are too many people about in our small house to have the space on weekends but I'm happy to join you Monday to Friday. I've done it on and off before so I've managed to be nothing but a little stiff after the first 3 days but I'm sure it'll hurt next week when I do 5. I've never made it past level 1 though. I tried level 2 once! That was really sore!

Peppapigsarse · 08/01/2012 14:46

must not hide behind sofa when putting shred DVD on must actually do the exercise actually this time I thought I'd try losing the weight first then toning up as exercise slows down the weight lose.... But I feel a fat biatch at the moment!

5inthebed · 08/01/2012 18:12

Welcome aboard Sal.

I am going to try Zumba tomorrow again, hopefully won't injure my shoulder this time.

ThatVikRinA22 · 08/01/2012 19:13

im forgetting what day im on now...

lazy sunday so only ate 2 meals today. had poached egg and beans on 1 slice of toast mid morning and then chicken and veg for evening meal.

still not opening the wine though...it will be my downfall. i have just had a mini twirl though which was savoured!

gonna have a G&T later. no idea how many points this is today but i reckon i might be a bit under...im still doing the old system btw cos i found my points calculator today!

devilsadvocaat · 08/01/2012 19:26

Having a glass of wine!
Definitely over points this week.
WI tomo...

Blatherskite · 08/01/2012 20:22

I must have done something wrong today - I'm sat here with a small glass of coke and one of the mini chocolate bars out of the box DH was scoffing last night and I still have 12 points left for today!! Confused

I get 26 points per day

I had the lie in this morning so missed family breakfast and was happy with a banana when I got up (0 points). Lunch was a a ham a cucumber sandwich with some salad (2 slices of bread = 4 points, 1 slice of ham it's calculated as 0 points but I know 2 would have been 1 point so I guess that's half, salad 0 points so 4 points overall) Dinner was stir fry with noodles (Veg = 0 points, chicken = 1 point, noodles = 2 points, sweet and sour sauce = 3 points so 6 points overall) I've drunk mainly water today but have 2 glasses of orange squash which should also be half a point and am now having 200ml of coke (2 points) which I've measured on the scales to be sure and a tiny 16g chocolate bar which I've broken into tiny pieces to make it last longer (2 points)

Does that sounds right? I've used 14 and have 12 left. I guess I could take another 1 off for the 2 half points so used 15/11 left. I'm not actually hungry so I'm not going to eat the other points just for the sake of it but it feels very odd seeing how much I seem to have 'under-eaten'.

Oh and -TMI but you guys started it Wink - I managed that big poo today too so hopefully, weigh in tomorrow might not be so depressing after all. Fingers crossed.

Anyone else weighing in tomorrow?

Blatherskite · 08/01/2012 20:22

Just noticed you are Devils. Good luck

KenDoddsDadsDog · 08/01/2012 20:23

Can I join in- I rejoined last wk, first weigh in tomorrow. Suspect I did not do well this week. Have put on a stone in the last year since I got a desk job and I was already a good stone over where I wanted to be. Will go to the gym five times this week and kick my arse if I don't. Grin

devilsadvocaat · 09/01/2012 06:55

Blathers, depends on portion size but chicken 5 points, noodles 4 points when I have for dinner. Do you weigh your food? Did you use oil or marg?

Blatherskite · 09/01/2012 07:50

Whoo hoo! Weigh in done and am now 9st 6! That's 2.8lbs off. At top of healthy weight range now so eveything from here on in is heading towards my goal :)

I shared 1 chicken breast between the 4 of us last night and put my portion as 1/3rd because of sharing with the children which is why the points for that are so low. With all the veg, no-one noticed the lack of chicken and there was still plenty. The noodles were from M&S and I couldn't find then on the planner so put them in myself using the points calculator. They were quite small nests which is probably why they were lower points. I did forget to put the tablespoon of oil on the planner but divided between 4 that probably wouldn't have made a point either.

Happy Monday everyone. Weekends are evil for diets. Found the Hotel Chocolat that DH gave me for Christmas. Best Before Date Jan 2012. Obviously had to be eaten so all weekly points well and truly gone. Well done on the weight loss. Weigh in on Wed morning so v little between now and then. Soup, Ryvita and Laughing Cows for lunch - life is so exciting!

mrsbjunior · 09/01/2012 11:38

Oh does anyone know points for Gourmet Burger Kitchen as have meal out there on Friday. Can't find it online. Thanks

devilsadvocaat · 09/01/2012 12:37

Wow impressive. I'd be starving after that! Well done on weight loss too!

I lost 3 pounds this week which puts me at 10 8! Eight to go...

5inthebed · 09/01/2012 12:59

WI this morning for me, 4lbs lost :)

A drop in the ocean for me, but definitely better off than on!

Well done on the losses everyone.

ThatVikRinA22 · 09/01/2012 13:31

i just did something a bit naughty...i had a quick mid week hop on the scales and got all excited Grin

but proper weigh in day is Thursday so i will do it again then. might have altered by then i guess...

not had lunch yet, but had the porridge/rasps again for brekky...love that!

best go forage around the kitchen for lunch....was going to do low fat sausage for tea in the slow cooker but forgot to put them in this morning! doh!!

Blatherskite · 09/01/2012 13:39

Tonight could be a bad night WW wise. DS has his swimming lesson between 4.30 and 5 so we won't get home until around half past and then I'll have to quickly make the DC's something to eat. When that happens DH and I usually eat later - and it's usually a Dominos pizza! Must think of something much lower fat for tonight!

devilsadvocaat · 09/01/2012 13:40

I did that too Vicar! By the way, how tall are you? I'm 5 ft 8.

Must stop weighing between wi though as I kid myself into eating more!

ThatVikRinA22 · 09/01/2012 13:49

oh im a bit shorter than you....im 5ft 4

according to my scales today, im also 10st 8. but ive got 3 more days officially before i do a proper weigh in....think i am a bit tubbier than you as you have 4 inches on me height wise.

i might have dropped a bit more by Thursday. im quite pleased at how im sticking to this diet...normally ive caved and opened wine by now! im quite determined this time though and if i get can keep my act together i should reach target quite fast.

going to try and get back to gym weds for some gently reintroduction to exercise....im getting over a broken coccyx so not been able to do anything since start of December.
