Octo Sad you are my motivator!!!

I got my mo Jo back after my horrendous spin class on Thursday. Hated how unfit I got.

What about shred?? My eating is a bit Confused sometimes good, sometimes bad Angry

If the weather is good Tom, why don't you put on your swanky new trainers and go for a run in the hills?Smile

Day 1 of shred completed. Wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but I can really feel it in my arms! Felt like a real blob doing the exercises, though, which has made me determined to persevere. My main aim is to really tone up my butt.

Octo no tips on motivation...I've had none for the last six weeks or so. I don't know what has finally changed me...even my clothes being too tight and me looking a mess in the same couple of outfits the last couple of weeks didn't do anything. You'll feel like it when you feel like it. Maybe set yourself a challenge, like sign up for a fun run or buy a new fitness DVD? Maybe me buying the Shred was what kicked me back into gear?

It is showing fine for the morning, so will aim either to walk to school after likely argument with the DD's about having to walk or go straight from helping at the school to the gym for a run as i want to test out my new trainer on the treadmill first. If i don't do this then i WILL HAVE to shred.

Please can you make sure i have done one of these three things by 3pm tomorrow???

Well done on the Shred MyChild. The arms do hurt after the strength, but i find it is quite nice to use some lighter weights for the cardio sections on Level 1

No need to hound me, as i have shredded Level 1 with weights

However i hated pretty much every minute of it, so not sure i am back in the vibe just yet Hmm

I shall weigh in Friday and take it from there.

Unfortunate he reckons that she will grow out of it Sad problem is she loves swimming and even tho I clean out her ears and use swimmers tea tree oil she still gets them Sad

Due to take dd2 swimming this afo but so not in the mood!

Thankfully I don't like pizza Grin was nice to do the sausages in there for tea tho Grin

1.5k run, 1hr circuits, 10 mins powerplate. If the weather holds, I may walk to school pickup.

I have been feeling better and more motivated the last couple of days by having a boiled egg for breakfast instead of special k or toast. The way I feel in the day def depends on how I start it IYKWIM.

Even managed to turn down a glass of wine offered by DH last night Shock

However my gym buddy who has been poorly is now starting to feel better and wants to do some gentle toning at the gym later! Added to the fact that I have just had all the carpets cleaned and they are all still soaking wet, the dds will have to go into kids club for a bit!! Smile

Hey, it looks like we're all getting back in the zone! Grin Well done Octo. I agree with the breakfast thing. Is it coincidence that I've started having porridge again and for the first time seem to be back into this?

Good news about your gym buddy, LOTI...that should help motivate you even more.

Going well here, food-wise. Now on day 3 of new start, with no cheating, which I haven't managed in six weeks. I do feel a bit hungry/light-headed, though, but hopefully should start feeling better in the next couple of days.

Will do my second Shred session tonight...missed yesterday because I was just too shattered after work. I know....I shouldn't make excuses, but I really was exhausted!

Well done ladies!

I have had some rice crispie cakes and the end of Dd2's sandwich, bot not too bad. Also done 2.5 mile walk pushing double buggy. Ham & cauliflower cheese for dinner, will try and limit pots.

Pilates tomorrow which will be my 4th exersazz this week. Woo hoo.

Hi all . Sounds like we are all getting back into it. So far this week.... pT session, 35k cycle followed by 5k run, tonight, 40k cycle. Day off tomorrow, PT on friday. That was my first proper run since march- leg stiff today. but glad I am back on it. Scales say 10.1. Oh to get to magic 9.13....

Here I am, sorry to have been AWOL but yesterday was truly shite. On the plus side I did not drown my sorrows in booze, cake or nicotine so am definitely making progress!

Down 1.5 on last Friday so far so just hope I can keep it up.

mychild I used to love jamaican patties and ate them by the bucketful when I lived in Bristol, haven't had one for years though [hungry]
