Starting a low carb diet - anyone interested in going for it with me?!

I did this very successfully indeed for about 6 weeks in the run up to the summer break. I have been trying to lose weight for a while and was doing OK but then reached a plateau which was when I decided to try something new. And I easily lost a stone doing this.

It was hard in the beginning, for about the first week, then I sort of settled in to it and it just became how it was. And I like the rules of it, because you just can't cheat on it. But it was sometimes hard juggling what the family were going to eat.

I have been cutting down since Tuesday, but will be going for it completely on Monday 5th. I want to lose a stone. Is anyone interested??!!!

Not yet no, I'm on my original weight loss thread that we started two years ago in Jan, and this one, and at the mo I just want to stay Blush But maybe I should in addition?

And before too long we will need a new low carb thread....

and BIWI - if you are Wimbledon way, you aren't so far from me over here in Teddington...

I'm going to have lunch now, I'm having smoked salmon and scrambled eggs, but we are out tonight which will be tricky...

It is a lovely feeling but a bit odd, been going so long and here we are!

And yes the threads get full at about 1000 and then stop accepting anymore posts, so before we all fall off the end we need to set up a new home to go to.

That's fantastic rather, congratulations! You need to go out and celebrate wearing something fabulous. Really well done!

I can't post any weight loss yet as not really yet started - just trying to be careful till my library books come in.I think it'll be out of the question to do the meal replacement blast (cost) this close to Christmas so I reckon I'll skip that idea and just get on to low carbing.
Do you all have a particular day to weigh?

Bloody well done Pistey you lightweight Grin)

RatherBeOnThePiste · 18/11/2011 15:24

Wine Cheers!

We seem to weigh in on a Friday, and agreed to just record loss rather than actual weight, unless you wanted to for yourself.

I am going to try my wedding dress on this weekend, it should fit, although my shape I am sure has changed, so it will be interesting to see. DD is very keen to see it.
