I can no longer kid myself that I am just curvy and happy about it .

I am happy at a small size 14 and I am now a large size 16 .

Does anybody want to join me in some mutual arse kicking to keep on track ?

My plan is to just eat less and move more .

I have tried low carbing in the past and it did work but I just couldn't keep it up for long .

I have also done ww before which did work longer term but I can't get to my local meetings anymore .

Please feel free to join in and tell me to stop eating rubbish and being a lazy sod .

I'm back, and have put on the two pounds I lost a fortnight ago. Sad

So, low carb is obviously not working, largely because I haven't been sticking to it properly. I am going to have a look at other diets. I think I need to be much more rigid, perhaps calorie counting is the way to go. What are the rest of you doing?

Come out come out wherever you are Grin

I have had an ok couple of days food wise but I have been really busy so I haven't been able to do my zumba . This week should be quieter so I will get back on track with the exercise tomorrow . Off to France next Sunday to see my mum and I know that will be tricky so I need to do as much as I can this week .

How is everyone doing ?

That is fantastic, travelling. Well done you. Grin

You must be getting close to a whole stone off now. Amazing. I'm definitely getting a copy of Zumba. Grin

Hi all!!
I just can't stop eating bread,pasta- in fact all carbs Sad
Any suggestions 4 alternatives??!!

travellingwilbury · 18/07/2011 13:31

ThanKs FW Grin I am really pleased . 11 pounds off in four weeks Grin I have still got a way to go but hopefully will keep it up .

Tinker , I am still eating carbs but I am trying to only have them for breakfast and lunch . It is helping not cutting them out completely . I have done that before and I was just craving them so much and it all went to pot because of it .

I am off to France on Sunday till friday to see my mum and I know I will struggle there . I won't tell her I am dieting otherwise she will just spend most of her time tempting me with rubbish Confused Will hopefully just quietly get on with it and if I can get through the week without putting weight on then I will be happy .

Well done on ur weight loss Smile
I seem to have bran flakes or toast 4 brekkie, sometimes a sandwich 4 lunch, but always seem 2 have pasta or rice at dinner time??!!
I have always had a savoury tooth- I need 2 curb my carb cravings!
According 2 MFP I'm always eating 2 much carbs!! Blush

travellingwilbury · 18/07/2011 14:14

I normally have a slice of toast with either peanut butter or a boiled egg , soup and a roll or scrambled eggs on toast at lunchtime and then my normal evening meal but without potatoes or rice . I am having meatballs with a little bit of grated cheese tonight but no pasta .

I am getting used to it now and I don't feel all bloated after dinner which I used to Blush It was normal for me to have a meal with potatoes and then have bread with it as well .

Well done TW, 11lbs is great. I am seriously considering couch to 5, this from someone who has NEVER run/jogged before......am feeling strangely 'lighter' and slightly, just slightly energized ConfusedGrin.

10 5 yesterday, slowly plodding at 1lb a week.

FoundWanting · 22/07/2011 17:43

Where is everyone?

Been soooo busy this week - hope it shows on the scales. Grin

Have a great time in France, won't you tw? Do you think your mum will notice your weight-loss?
