shocked and in tears. I joined up on my own, I was utterly terrified. It's a massive group, I think there were at least 40 people there who stayed and another 20 that didn't stay.

I haven't been on the scales for 3 years and I have a stone a year to show for it.

I am now 11st over my ideal weight and I am shit scared for my health.

My goodness, i'd like to say it feels good but right now I am overwhelmed. The diet looks great but I have simply got so much to lose. I met a woman tonight who has lost 6.5 stone-she is still bigger than I am but she gave me hope. It's taken her since Jan last year.

I start to eat right tomorrow-for tonight it's a glass of wine and an early night.

Which thread do you recommend I join for support along the way? I will need it.

Lol JJ, I love it that youre selling the thread elsewhere though. Bring it on, the more the merrier.

I have been so good this week, I really want to lose, i have maxed 3 syns each day but mostly 1 or 2 and I have gone back to counting everything! Would be great to hit that stone marker.

Whats for dinner then folks?
Sweet chilli prawns and noodles here SW style. 1.5 syns on EE. Folowed by some of my lovely lovely raspberry ripple icecream. You have to try it, if raw egg doesn't make you boak of course, doesn't bother me in the slightest.

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 12/04/2011 18:39
Grin

tonight i had chicken and tons of salad, had a bit of garlic and herb dip with it, which im guessing is a few syns but since i hadnt eaten since breakfast, egg on toast, i wasnt to worried.

stinkypinky · 12/04/2011 18:44

4lb off this week, 13lb in total.

Lamb with Mediterranean veg tonight.

Stinky is a happy SWer

stinkypinky · 12/04/2011 18:45

Jj best to calculate the syns on the dip - guess work can come before a gain.

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 12/04/2011 18:50

i will do, im at mums atm books are at home, had 2 tspns (typing incase baby brain takes over)

fishandlilacs · 12/04/2011 18:51

Woohoo, brilliant weighloss stinky! Well done! Hold onto this feeling next time you feel it slipping.

I agree with you stinky, I did a lot of guesswork last week and look where it got me!

SenSationsMad · 12/04/2011 18:59

Hi , can I join? JJ did invite me Grin

First weigh in tonight and the scales MUST be wrong cos I lost ( allegedly) 5+1/2 lbs! I really should throw my scales away cos I though it was only going to be 2lbs. I feel great!

I have been shopping for melon today - Morrissons have two for £2, bargain!

stinkypinky · 12/04/2011 19:21

DH only lost 2lb this week and had a major binge. My treat meal was baby food (home made bacon and root veg soup - there are still 17 little pots for DD2 - bloomin gorgeous!)

DH regretted his episode, and congratulated me this morning.

stinkypinky · 12/04/2011 19:22

Hello SenS Welcome! Well done on your loss.

stinkypinky · 12/04/2011 19:33

There are two lovely newish SW threads at the moment - not sure how MNish it is to suggest this, but should we link up? I figure we all need as much help/support as we can get!

Hedgepig · 12/04/2011 21:27

evening all. Been AWOL for a bit, visiting my parents and mad running around, so I didn't get weighed last week (I was out drinking wine and scoffing French food I didn't even make an attempt to calculate those syns Grin), but by my scales I may have lost a couple of lbs, I will find out on Thurs.
Fish the icecream sounds interesting, I'm sure slightly squashed raspberries are fine.

Stinky I have had a lurk on the other thread they look like a mad bunch Grin

fishandlilacs · 12/04/2011 22:22

stinky Looks a great thread, yes we should team up, but ill keep this up if folks feel more comfortbale here-theres a few BESH's on that thread and they are both adorable, hilarious and intimidating in equal measure.

saw an ad on tv 12 mullerlights for £2 at morrisons. get in.

fishandlilacs · 12/04/2011 22:23

oh and hello and welcome sensations (SSM)

You are most welcome, love to have you here this is a slow build up but theres are some lovely lovely women on here.

SenSationsMad · 13/04/2011 08:54

The HQ at Morrisons must all be doing SW too! Very handy!

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 13/04/2011 10:22

just checking in, welcome SSM Smile

im slipping at the mo i fear, been sticking to 10,000 plus steps a day though, been useless at keeping food diary, im off for a walk, pedometer in tow, and i WILL complete my diary today.

stinkypinky · 13/04/2011 11:23

Gosh, never met a BESH before! I will stay on both threads - just hope you do not think I am being unfaithful Smile

I find it really helpful to know there are so many of us doing SW.

JjandtheBeanlovesUnicorns · 13/04/2011 11:25

whats a BESH?

stinkypinky · 13/04/2011 12:07

MN royalty Grin The hippest coolest babes! I once ventured onto a BESH thread, and had the shit scared out of me!

fishandlilacs · 13/04/2011 16:41

BESH stands for Barren Evil Selfish hags aka women who the daily mail say are selfish because they had a career/lived/partied/not met the right father/ before choosing to have children in thier 30's-some of them have been blessed, others have had no such luck and are trying to conceive. Some of them have been through so much you wouldn't even begin to understand how it feels if you have children. They are amazing.

stinkypinky · 13/04/2011 17:38

I used to be a BESH then! (thanks for educating me). I was told at 26 I could not have any children following a badly treated miscarriage. I did not get married until 36, and had told DH kids were off the menu, and... 2 DDs later Grin We were planning on fostering, but were then truly blessed!

fishandlilacs · 13/04/2011 18:15

Wow stinky-what a turn around just goes to show they never really know. I am a fraudulent BESH. I have one beautiful feisty 3 yr old DD, I would like another but we are not really TTC. If it happens it happens. I'm 37 this year so I reckon i'm getting a bit long in the tooth to do the baby days again but it would be nice.

stinkypinky · 13/04/2011 18:28

I had DD2 the day before my 41st and she is just coming up 1. It has been hard! It is so much harder with 2, but wonderful too (at times)

zsazsa123 · 13/04/2011 19:46

i joined sw in feb and have lost 1 stone , got 3 ,more stone to go and i will be delighted if i can get there ! its a great plan have been loosing the weight slowly a pound a week mainly , but i have not once felt hungry , still enjoyed a glass of wine at weekends and the odd sweet treat !! have tried rosemary conley and felt miserable all the time on that plan as did ww , think sw is by far the best x

ilovewaldorfandstatler · 13/04/2011 20:22

SSM, I found you! (slight stalker) Can I join you ladies?? I started SW 2 weeks ago and 20 far have lost 3lbs doing easy plan Grin haven't been strictly filling in the food diary cos I'm a lazy mare i haven't had the time to bless myself but loving being able to have a drink and enjoy my food! I found that deprivation always makes me want more so knowing that I can have stuff means I don't really look for it Smile

I guess I could lose more if I was stricter but I'd rather it drops off slowly so that I would be able to sustain the lifestyle!

fishandlilacs · 13/04/2011 20:47

A Very warm welcome Ilove. This is turning out to be a lovely little bunch, everyone is great :)

I have reason to polish my chufty badge tonight. I have lost a full stone now. ::)

Another 4lb this week.
