New thread!!!!!!! As promised.

Weighed in and have lost the holiday kilo. So back to 15 st 3. Am still amazed that I only gained a kilo. There was NO restraint!

Goal now to get to 15 st.

mmmn Cyb egg mayo .. I love it. Can't make it tho or willl eat it all.

I felt like I zoned quite well yesterday bar a bourbon biscuit (well 3) butr they are only small!

Didn't eat anymore blackberries tho as the ones I'd taken into work were full on grubs (ewwwwww)

I had yoghurt and fruit for breakfast but am wrangling DS 1 and friend today at the beach. So there may be slippage.

I don't eat Wotsits anymore [sniffs] but I did eat 10 packets of Tayto Whisps over 2 days.

Good grief that's shameful.

I eat toast in the morning with banana then a Natures Way bar Blush
toast for lunch with a NW bar
Dinner has been [ahem] takeaways
supper has been toast... well you get the picture.

I've ate about 4 things all summer, but just in large quanities.

I've started to take the pup for long walks though [grasps at straws]

AND Im heading to the gym this morning - only to look round though to see if i want to join or not

BUT i did do level 2 shred with my heavy weights - 2kgs ones Grin

Hi all.

White bread is the work of the devil isn't it? Once you start eating it you can't stop. And that is because there is NOTHING good in it. It is full of air and crap and chemicals that make you want more.

Well I zoned pretty well yesterday. Quantities are a bit suspect though. No exercise. Again. Am rubbish.

Had a big bowl of muesli this morning. Planning fruit for snacks. More water. And am about to walk the dog.

Ilythia hasn't been around. Hope everything is OK with her MIL.

Hello all, this is day 3 of sticking with the plan.

Breakfast - Porridge. Lunch is courgette and bean salad, and courgette soup (we have a glut) Dinner is pork stir fry.

Plan to Shred again for day 3..

ok going to be extra good today.

Blitzed most of the house, and will do the rest when dc2 has a nap.

Have had toast with boiled egg on for breakfast (but was mugged by dc1 so even fewer calories) and a peach.

snack has been Belvita breakfast biscuits (again half the calories as was mugged by dc1 and 2).

Lunch making HM pizza with dc1 and her friend who is coming over, so possibly a slice of that with salad.

Making turkey burgers for dinner.

also got a Zumba class tonight.

Must repeat the mantra that I WILL BE THIN,I WILL BE THIN,I WILL BE THIN!!!!

Egg mayo. My contempt knows no bounds. Wink

Itching to get round the park tonight. I totally thought that 1 mile = 2.6km, but in fact it's 1 mile = 1.6km! Blush

So I've been doing 5km-8km runs thinking I've only been doing 2 miles-3 miles, when actually I've been doing 3 miles-5 miles.

It's 7 miles from my office in London zone 1 to my flat in London zone 3... DOABLE! (In a month or so, maybe).

I've fallen off the Diet Coke wagon. I'm also suspicious that the amount of low-fat Salad Cream I'm putting on my lunch isn't the 15g (35 calorie) portion they suggest. How are you meant to weigh salad cream? Confused

Well done all good losers and shame on you biffers.

So far going ok, rice crispies for breakst, ham and 1 slice of corned beef salad, tiny bit of Healthy iving salad cream, muller light and the bad bit funsize milky way Blush

Need to drink more water and then may go for a walk. Going out with DH tonight.

Made fatal mistake of going shopping while hungry. Came back and was cranky and shaky and irrational from hunger so ended up having half a cheese pastry and 2 slices of white bread with cheese and chutney.

Dinner is chicken and salad though. Will be good.

coolkat - are you not starving after rice crispies? I find it like eating air.

I quite often have egg mayo. I make it myself and use low fat mayo and add chopped tomato. Have it on a slice of rye bread. Makes a good lunch.

Ok having had white bread at breakast (was all that was in and eating some pizza that we made at lunch (using white flour/base mix) i feel like a bloated pig! i only ate a small pizza the size of a saucer with only a small amount of cheese (honest) and now my belly feels bloated and i feel slugish Sad.

am i corrct in thinking this evil white bread has made me feel crap?

wi will make a point of not having bread and see if i feel better.

dont like feeling sluggish. will need to re-think the burger situation, and poss just have the patties with salad?

Cyb - must admit a bit of a snigger at the "it was fair trade" justification Grin. buy more wisely next time.

encyclo - well done!

buda - you need to (healthy) snack more, getting too hungry leads to major biffage. but low fat mayo and rye bread good.

mama - may have been the combo of the bread and the pizza, too much high GI stuff. Go for wholemeal or wheaten bread or even pitta bread instead.

ok dinner was fine i skipped the buns and had a shed load of salad, even though my hand hovered with the tray of oven chips over my plate.....then promptly dumped them on dps! (justifyed by the fact he has a physical jobs and there for will burn off said chips in no time) Felt good for having the will power.

Lunch - egg, slice of multigrain bread with cucumber, toms and bit of lamb
Dinner - spaghetti bolognaise (homemade) with veg
Does this look okay?

5km circuit of park done. Maybe I should start timing myself - I don't wear a watch. Must be roughly 30 mins I think.

Breakfast - scrambled eggs (no added fat or milk) on 1 slice wholegrain with a bit of flora light - same brekkie every day - much prefer to weetabix
Lunch - pack of lean pre-cooked chicken breast slices, 2 tomatoes, light salad cream
snack - 2 apples
Dinner - ready-to-bake salmon fillet doodad (300 cals approx) with hyooooooge pile of boiled sliced runner beans (from frozen)
Pud - 2 squares dark choc

Psyching myself up for weigh-in Fri. I've been bad on Friday night this week, and also moderately bad last night. So five really good days out of 7.

racmac - that looks lovely and healthy and balanced, but if you were looking to cut stuff to give your weightloss a boot up the arse I would cut carbs from your evening meal (so no spag with bol), avoid hummus (v fatty), and eat a larger breakfast to avoid the need for carby snacks (like pitta) in the day. Does that sound too harsh, everyone??

4 ryvita with tuna mix, apple, fat free yog

average sized curry, 1/2 nann spoonful rice, fat free yog

doesnt sound that bad when I write it down. felt like loads.
