And a very good morning to you all!

New thread!!!!!!! As promised.

Weighed in and have lost the holiday kilo. So back to 15 st 3. Am still amazed that I only gained a kilo. There was NO restraint!

Goal now to get to 15 st.

Was pretty good yesterday but everyday its when the clock strikes 6 the kids bloody bisciut cupboard starts reeling me in. This is what I need to take control of. slaps self. If I could stop evening eating I would be so much better most of its boredom anyway!

2 testing days coming up, today taking girls for lunch and tomorrow me and DH going out for a meal as its our 10th wedding anniversary. Oh and time of the month.

Fab day for you yest Joby.

cool I find the eveniugs hard too. I try not to even set foot in the kitchen. And to REALLY think 'Do I want this? Am I REALLY hungry? Or do I just want the taste of it in my mouth?'

STEP AWAY FROM THE KITCHEN CUPBOARD> Once you break the habit its fine.

coolkat - how about factoring in a snack at temptation time? Have something sensible. Then drink lots of iced water or sparkling water with lime or something similar. Try to avoid diet drinks. And tea and coffee if they make you want a biscuit with them.

There is a thread in BigSlim/Whatever by a MNer who lost 5 stone - titled something like "I threw away all my fat clothes" - she drank skinny lattes when tempted. Would that help? Have a read of her thread. Inspirational.

coolkat - substitute biscuit hour for either a better snack or a drink or a better activity.

cyb- am happy to be a bit disciplinarian just for you.

I am really trying this week. Yesterday I had a banana with Alpen bar for breakfast, another Alpen bar for lunch (very, very busy day - I don't normally eat so little) and for dinner I had a huge roast beef and egg salad. Spolit it all by having alcohol but I am working on that. Today I have started with 2 boiled eggs, intend to have roast beef salad for lunch and then stuffed marrow with chilli flavoured mince and to drink loads and loads of water as I seem to be a bit constipated. Blush

I did Slimming World about 2 years before and that worked, the motivation was there and I went from 12st 13lbs to 10st 10lbs but it did not last long. I am hoping to find a way of life eating now.

I also love low/zero fat yogurts, weetabix and fruit for breakfast. I buy the Sainsbury's frozen summer fruits packs. They are only £1!!! I take out what I need at night and put it in the fridge to defrost ready for the morning.

My aim is to be very, very good and to watch what I eat this week and hope to lose 2lbs if I can. It is do-able I know as I have done it before.

I'm starting to get into the Zone now. Grin

Glad to hear your puppy is much better Buda.

I am trying hard but failing Sad

I have put my back out so excersise is a no go for the past 2 days, i am feeling a little better today though.

I have been good foodwise, im using myfitnesspal and not going over calories but still gained a pound. Sad

i shall keep at it.

Got Panto meeting tonight which will cheer me up, im itching to get back on the stage!

I need a bit of privacy. Have DS around constantly and he will be scathing I know. And DH will be home rest of week. Am going to head off to Margit Island which is an island in middle of Danube that has a 5k running track around perimiter. Will walk it every day. Will save Shred for when school goes back and i have house to myself!

Hi Girls, can I please join your group? I was briefly in the WW thread, but it moves really slowly.

I am currently 10st 1. Have been trying to lose the same 12 pounds all year. FINALLY lost 3 recently.

I shreddded last night went straight to level 2 as I am pretty active. Not necessarily fit, but active - cycling, walking and the like with the fam.

I did eat a packet of Snack O Jacks today. Aside from that very good.

Are Snack O jacks the devil, or a reasonable lowish fat choice?

Pisces you know you can do it - although you must remember to get enough sleep too!

Well I bought some dumb bells today and been working through the sheet of exercises much to ds amusement. I am on call tonight so if Im called out no temptations (apart from the men in uniform!) but if not I will have to
keep my hands active on laptop to stop biffing. Being on call means no chance of gym.

Had a difficult day - just had to ring the police and report a suspicious incident involving a car/ male driver and his weird behaviour around my dd (11) who was in my car alone at the time while I was at the cashpoint (in view). He drove off at speed when I approached. dd was not in danger but I feel sick. dd goes to secondary in September and has to be given freedom - but it is a worry!

Buda - Glad the pup is better, and i just ordered the Shred on sunday so hope it will be here tomorrow, i was gonna leave it a while but bit the bullet. Need to wait till next week to buy weights as too many things on this week.

Undertone - Lol at the running advice, must invest in an ipod or some kind of mp3 as dont know if budget will streach to the real thing.

Tibi - i hope you every thing is ok re - strange man.

I have now been good ish but need stern words for eating a Chicken Bake at lunch time (cowering in shame, awaiting telling off). It was impulse eating as i never made lunch to take to work and needed something quick as spent lunch looking for school coat for DD.

Apart from that i have had today ready break with 1% fat milk and 2 tsp honey. then mid morning i had Belvita breakfast biscuits and extremely bad chicken bake for lunch, and i have had stuffed pepper and salad for dinner.

Also need to drink more water.

Just in from seeing bestest mate.

Was good - stuck to white-wine-and-soda spritzers. Only downfall was... well... drinking quite so many of them.

Am now trying to drunky-binger with salad.

Not enjoying it.

White wine and soda sounds very nice, especially with best mate.

Can you binge on salad - surely that must be an contradiction in terms?

I really ought to join thread again - have gained mebbe 2 pounds since ducking out, but am regularly sinning with white bread, chocolate and potatoes. It is a downwards slope with those, I know. I am lurking to be inspired!
