Hope I don't offend anyone, but bugger it, I'm starting the new thread before we run out, named as per thinbride, see you all there.

Report
thedogwalker · 07/01/2011 20:06

So who is going to start the new thread?

Report
thinbridewaitingtogetout · 07/01/2011 18:51

I love the name too as its what drew me in! i think the same plus part 2 on the end as im sure it wont be that long before we are on part 3 (and i hope by part 4 it will be more of a maintaing thread as we will all be at goal by then)!

Report
iluvcake · 07/01/2011 18:41

I think tis a good name too. We could keep the same name and tag on part 2 at the end (very original I knowHmm) but am struggling to think of something better.

We'd better make a decision fast...!

I agree Thedogwalker.
Its obviously a very inspiring name seeing as we're all doing so well.

thedogwalker · 07/01/2011 18:16

I like the name we have, it says so much about us and is what drew me to this group. So i'm for keeping the name, but obviously other people may have a different opinion.

Really glad everyone has had a good start to the year, lets keep it up Smile

Hmmm what shall we call it, who should start it and do you think the same name with 2011 taped on will suffice? or anyone have a motivational name in mind?

Shaxx · 07/01/2011 17:30

fingers crossed for you thinbride!

think we need a new thread.....

Eveyone is doing so well!

Im taking my loss with a pinch of salt as i cant have dropped 4lbs in 4 days (since tue weigh in) as i have 1 biffed and 2 i have not starved by any means!

Tuesday will tell!

On an other note i saw a beautiful dress on BHS sale site this morning and it was strapless, ivory, really fitted, gathered to the side with sparkly bit on in loads of sizes for ........£36!!!!!!! from £120 it was soooo nice, went to order it this afternoon and its all sold out and not on site any more, im gutted. Gonna keep looking in case any returns come back and they re-appear on the site. Fingers crossed!

Brilliant! Everyone has done so well (even sts!) with diet and getting back into exercise.
We just need to keep going.
Thinbride your loss was most impressive! keep it up Smile

Keep drinking lots of water and stay strong esp as its friday and the weekend is coming up. I know I tend to slack a bit over the weekend but I really can't afford to.

Yay, thedogwalker, well done!

lol, poor you with your jelly legs. Am suffering along with you. Had my first bootcamp class this morning after NO exercise for two weeks. I'll be surprised if I can walk tomorrow.

Well I've lost the one pound that I put on over christmas so back down to 10 st 7 lbs. Now only 7lbs to go for my goal which I set earlier this week and 1 st away from what I hope to achieve overall.

My oh my how my legs ache today from doing the shred yesterday. Going to do the weekly shop later and then shred again. I can't do it before the shopping, as I would never make it out the door, my legs were like jelly for hours yesterday.

Aren't we all doing great for the new year espcially you, thinbride, that must be a real boost for you, congratulations and just keep thinking of yourself in your wedding dress Grin, really happy for you. Congratulations to everyone, none of us have gained, so we are on the right track.

Take care and have a lovely friday Smile

Welcome back encyclogirl! well done on keeping the weight off. Congrats dinky, thinbride and Shaxx on your weight loss-brilliant!!

justamin, am the same as you-STS-9st9. Am ok with that as I did go up to 9st10.5 during the week(shouldn't really be weighing myself mid-week but was getting hysterical). Let's both go for a loss next week.

thedogwalker, you'll be surprised at how quickly you get used to Level 1 on the shred. You'll be on Level 2 before you know it Wink.

Shaxx congrats on the 1.5lbs and on even a week into it.

i've sts but I'm OK with that. I've found my exercise mojo and the sluggishness is shifting.

Hope there are some losers out there Smile

Hi Encyclogirl.

I have had a good day today and stuck to 1200 cals.

I've had my dinner early and am not eating anything else tonight. It'll be hard but I'll just have an early night.

How is everyone else doing?

Report
dinkystinky · 06/01/2011 15:40

In a wierd way thedogwalker level 2 is actually easier than level 1 - more cardio but it feels like its over quite a bit quicker if you see what I mean. However persevere and you'll find it much easier within a few days.

OMG, I've just done the 1st shred level, which is the first real exercise since having the baby 4 months ago. I'm Blush with exertion and Shock at my poor fitness. Well at least I've now started but I can't see me moving on to level 2 for ages.

Hope eveyone is having a great day.

The pole dancing and the ice skating sound great, a fun way to lose weight/stay trim. Will have to look around where I live and see if there are any classes in anything like that.

Got the shred dvd today and it is by the dvd player waiting to be used Grin, a bit nervous as I've no idea how low my fitness is now and I may be very disapointed with myself. justamin, you are an inspiration to do so much shredding...I will find the will power this afternoon to do it.

Hope everyone is having a good day and ready for weigh day tomorrow Smile

Welcome back Encyclogirl. Hopefully with dh signed up to WW you?ll be able to keep each other on the right track. My dh is a rake which is a pain when I?m trying to be careful.

Thinbride sorry to hear about ds ? it?s that time of year. If you are anything like me being tired usually leads to biffing so drink lots of water and be kind to yourself.

Amazingly my achy thighs are better today and I did levels 1 & 2 of the shred back to back last night (was hellish). Perhaps the answer is not to have a rest Confused
