Do you tell others that your weight loss is due to the jabs?

I have lost 1st 4lbs- about 10% of my body weight. Today someone actually noticed and commented on it. It was our lovely cleaner at work. She asked me how and so I told her. I expect as I lose more, I'll get asked this question more.

Do you just tell people the truth? I'm inclined to but not 100% sure as I want to see how I go with it long term.

What do you tell people? I think most people who have lost a lot of weight in the last couple of years will have used the jabs.
Also I'm generally an open person. So I'm not sure why I'm feeling reluctant to be evasive.

Yes, I do.

Only because I've struggled all my life with food - I have had extremely disordered eating & I feel like it might benefit some people to know how WLI have helped me - mainly ridding me of the awful guilt I've always felt about eating - they've finally given me headspace

I tell people outside of the workplace but I haven’t told my colleagues. I can’t quite explain why but I think it is probably because I tend to keep a low profile at work and don’t want to be talked about and also because my colleagues are not overweight and I am not sure they would understand why I decided to use WLIs.
Outside of work, I have told people. Most have been very understanding and sometimes I do get the odd comment. Most people have been very supportive though.

I have been truthful because there is no way that I could have lost this weight (over 25% of my body weight) without the WLI and I didn’t want to pretend to others that I had achieved it through cutting our carbs, or doing Slimming World, or some other random diet. I have been truthful that I feel fantastic, that my aches and pains have gone but that it may not suit everyone and that I wish I didn’t need to go on the jabs but I have no regrets.

If someone has lost a lot of weight in the last year or so to the point it’s noticeable, I would assume the jabs. I’d never ask as it’s not my business but why not use them if they are available and they seem to work very well. Not many people go from a size 24 to a size 10 during middle age, but I’ve noticed a few people who have recently so I assume it’s the jab.
