Didn’t think to look before now, but anyway I’m doing this!
Day 5 for me today. Starting weight of 78.5kg, BMI 29 or so. I’m short.
The weight has been creeping on over the last 5 years, and this year with the heat I felt so uncomfortable. The fat has been gathering on my belly and it looks dreadful, none of my clothes looked nice, and while at 48 I know I must be in peri I don’t really have any other symptoms of that. Just this darn belly!
So, I decided going on this was cheaper than buying a whole new wardrobe.
I’ve never considered the jabs, not sure why. I think it felt very serious, whereas taking a tablet daily is less so. Also until recently I didn’t think I would qualify.
No side effects, I actually feel really good!
I didn’t ever really have food noise like other describe, for me it was more boredom. I just want the snacking to stop. My main meals are pretty decent anyway after years of trying to eat low fat due to other bowel conditions, so I’m sticking to the 1400 cals I was aiming at before, for now.
After 5 days of the 1.5mg tablet, I’ve noticed the aches in my shoulders and hips seem less. That could be my imagination.
I’ve also been more tired in the evening, heading up to bed earlier with my book and falling asleep so easily. That’s been lovely. I gave up drinking earlier this year although I did miss it, but the last few days it’s not bothered me. It honestly feels so strange and amazing!
I’ve found myself occasionally thinking that I would like a snack with my cuppa, then telling myself no, don’t really need that, and actually accepting that!
I also found I didn’t want the whole of the meal I had dished up, so I’m trying to eat slower and just stop when I’m done. Over time hopefully I will learn how much to serve up!
Again it could be my imagination, but the bloating I would get in my lower belly seems less. Mentally I feel lighter, somehow. It’s early days but honestly, I feel the best I have in years already!
Well done to those already on the journey, it really does feel different for me this time! Like this little tablet has given me willpower to do what I already knew I needed to do.
