Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

First pill taken at 6am. Not really noticed a difference yet other than having a small coffee rather than large....but that could just be fluke! Had a salted hard boiled egg and 2 salami slices for breakfast. Maybe feel a bit peckish now....very normal.

Relieved not to be throwing up!

SkinnySummer · 12/07/2026 10:41

I've started this morning too... Excited to see what the next week holds. Unfortunately the hot weather has done nothing to reduce my food noise - I've gone through boxes and boxes of ice creams and lollies 🙈

I've had the tablets for a few days now but been strangely apprehensive to start them, because I feel like I'm going to miss my binges... It's absolutely ridiculous. Food brings me untold amounts of joy, it always has. I just bloody love eating 😂

Yeah food is a big part of my life, i'm not a junk food addict, i'm a foodie, i go on holiday just for the food fgs! Struggling to think what to do with myself/look forward to without it. Trying to throw myself at crafts and exercise more.

Pashazade · 12/07/2026 11:06

It’s worth remembering you can still enjoy your food, you’ll just want a lot less of it. So really maximise the good stuff and flavours you love, lean into small but just right!

I had pancreatitis and gall bladder removed 15 years ago but have read I can’t take any of these weight loss injections or pills - does anyone know any different - would it be safe or is there another route I can take - 20kg overweight :-(

I know someone who had gallbladder removed and gas successfully lost many stones on mounjaro jabs - maybe speak to your doc first?

O/t but what does “welp” mean in this context?

I’ve seen it used a lot on social media, it’s an Americanism I think?

I’d use it as an exclamation or sort of expression of surprise so it doesn’t quite fit in my head.

been curious for a while!

PillPoppin · 12/07/2026 12:30

I’m on day 10 and I’ve noticed a really unexpected side effect. I feel really clear thinking. I definitely have had a bit of peri brain fog lately but I’m really quite focused and productive right now. Long may that continue! Although the constipation can bugger off.

What's the advantage of Voy over other providers?

I don't know enough about the market to compare. But I have a 60 pound discount if wanted.

Springflowers1 · 12/07/2026 09:37

Do all the sites ask for photos and do they contact your gp?

I did it through SheMed (as there is a 20percent discount with Blue Light Card) and they did a video phone call and I had to stand on scales and show the number on the phone. I was really dreading it but it was fine. They have contacted my GP but I'm not sure whether or not I could opt out. But I'm okayish with that.

Think it's just slang you use in place of 'well', as in 'well, i'd best be off!'? I dont know why i do it....

I am approaching my Danger Zone - that late afternoon slump, i usually need a snack to get me through til teatime so we'll see....

24HoursFromTulseHill · 12/07/2026 15:03

I'm on day 5 - no side effects so far. It's a bit hard to tell if my reduced appetite is the pill working, the heat, or just a hightened sense of portion control & restraint because I know I'm taking something that is meant to reduce my appetite.

SweetBaklava · 12/07/2026 15:06

Just signed up for the pills via Superdrug. I’m 5ft and have 4.5 stone to lose to be back in a healthy BMI. I’ve been a bit sucked into the body positivity movement over the last couple of years, but also been feeling worse and worse at the same time both physically and mentally. It’s time… WW, SW have all made a fortune from me over the years - I don’t need anymore lessons in healthy eating, I know what I need to do, but I need the food noise silenced.

Thehumblesmidge · 12/07/2026 15:41

Really pleased to have found this thread. Thank you all. My pills are being delivered tomorrow and I’m absolutely desperate to get started. If anyone wants the £60 discount from Voy, do send a DM. I like the app so far, it seems really helpful. I need that level of support and checking in beyond just taking the pills and it all seems very thoughtfully done. I was even able to ask questions through the app’s AI assistant and it was very helpful- a bit like Claude.

applecharlotte · 12/07/2026 17:03

Joining also! I'm on Day 2 and have 1.5st to lose. No side effects apart from a little constipation. I felt appetite suppression from the first morning. Seems to wear off a little by 6pm. Struggle to eat more than 600 calories in the day and weirdly my nicotine cravings have disappeared. Probably blocks the same dopamine receptors. Interesting!

Iswallowedafly · 12/07/2026 17:30

Just received mine Friday! I have 3.5 stone to lose and only 5ft 2! Looking forward to feeling comfortable in my own skin again! On day 2 definitely not feeling very hungry but am constipated which I hope goes,

Watching because I’m thinking about it. I know I can’t inject myself so a pill may be an option. Three stone to lose.

You don't inject into a vein, anyone can do it for themselves. It's a tiny very fine short needle that you plunge into the fatty part of your belly. You can't even feel it.

Agree with this. I've been making fancy dressings like green goddess to make my bowls of healthy stuff more fun.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 12/07/2026 17:54

@mit123I have also had pancreatitis and gall bladder removal years ago. Lots of places were funny about it but I didn’t want to lie to anyone. Asda said it was ok- I declared it at the beginning. They just say if you ever feel any pain or symptoms stop immediately and see dr. I was paranoid for a while (still very cautious) but have not had an issues after 2 years on MJ

Fightingmydoctor · 12/07/2026 18:37

Managed to get to 5.30 on the egg and a fish finger butty without climbing the walls, no way could i have managed that before. Also motored my way through my main meal thinking 'hmmm, i could eat all this guess its not working' and then got the tiniest little flash of tummy pain/nausea and just knew if i carried on i'd feel sick - that's new, normally i clear my plate on principle.

NauseaQueen · 12/07/2026 19:42

Hey all, I’m day 1 and feel so nauseous. Think I might be panicking and that’s making it worse. Also not sure if I ate too much today. Feels like a minefield!

I felt a bit nauseous and headache on day 1. Are you drinking enough? I’m on day 3 and was better today.

I used Voy for jabs (which I was too scared to use, waste of money) now I’m using pills with Bolt. I think Bolt is fine for the pills as you don’t need lots of instructions etc. Voy had a lot of support with questions and video demos etc.

I'm glad I'm not the only one too scared to use the jabs. I have one sitting in my fridge that's been there 8 months
