Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

I am a month in.

down 4lbs. I’ve lost 6 but gained 2 this week.

i’ve taken my first 4mg today. I’ve had no side effects, but definitely making better choices and eating less. Not counting calories, trying to eat instinctively. I find I’m not eating big meals in an effort to fill myself up. Less of that “if I eat 3 watermelons/a huge stir fry I won’t be hungry”, because I will, then start on the toast. I’m eating a biscuit if I want, but stopping at 1.

i want to be at a point where I’m comfortably losing 6-8lbs a month so have gone up a dose.

I am a bit concerned about how much my appetite has been suppressed. I am eating less than 1000 calories a day. I am full all the time. I have lost half a stone in 2 weeks which is fabulous but I only had a stone and a half to lose. I actually only want to lose one stone. I don’t feel tired but I am definitely lacking energy or the inclination to cook meals.

@LondonCheesecake yes, definitely uneven appetite suppression. What I eat and my weight loss reflects that too, but overall is the right direction. Be interested to hear how you get on with 4 mg. I’m too chicken and doing another month at 1.5 despite some hungrier days.

I am just waiting for my second month of 1.5 to arrive. My hunger levels are definitely variable, but for the first time since age 12 I haven’t been driven to consume my own weight in chocolate approaching my period.

I seem to have developed an aversion to carbs, and when I do feel like eating I just want protein and vegetables and fruit.

Does anyone have really spotty skin since starting the pills?

I can't wait to start the pills. I was on MJ last year but since I stopped I've put up some weight and I'm starting to feel out of control. Mine are being delivered next week and even knowing the fact I'll be getting them I feel more in control already.

How did you get approved for these if you only have a stone or stone and a half to lose?

I've had the same kind of experience - 9lbs lost in 3 weeks without trying at all. I felt constantly ick - like morning sick for the first week so I halved the dose (yes, I know that's not recommended). This got rid of most of the side effects but I'm still a bit listless and definitely not motivated by food. I guess this might be due in part to the rapid weight loss. A lot of the weight loss is water I'm sure. I'm trying to eat well - protein/vegetables etc.
I think there are 'high responders' to Wegovy, you and I are probably two of them.

I filled in the questions honestly and they approved me. Had a video consult to do Joe check everything and got the tablets 48 hours later. My BMI was over 26.

Depending on height 1.5 stone can make a big difference to bmi.

Yip me day 10 for me and last couple of days my skin has went oily and a good few spots on my face and a sore one in my hair at the top of my head very random.

@Florabella I only have half a stone left to lose, done 3.5 calorie counting, but my bmi is 25.8 and I take bp medication so was approved

My 4mgs has been dispatched and I'm looking forward to moving up. I've lost 5lbs this last month but I have 3 stone to lose so would like to speed up a little bit. I decided at the beginning that in order to justify the cost I would need to lose at least 7lbs per month hence my decision to move up. On the plus side, I haven't had any symptoms and am finding with the Voy App helpful.

Am on holiday at the moment and have definitely overeaten today, especially the sweet stuff. Am feeling a bit grim tonight as a result and cross with myself. Need to try and have a better day tomorrow!
