Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

I have tried to order via med express to have delivered to Northern Ireland. My weight qualifys me for starter dose of wegovy pill, however at check- out I am asked to enter a GP. I don't have a GP in Northern Ireland, I don't actally have a GP at all. Is there.any supplier that will take your BMI details and not request a GP? Thanks, if anyone can help with info.

I’ve been so skeptical about these drugs but after spending the first half of this year struggling with my binge eating I tried the pill for the first time this week.

On day 5 now. I’ve lost 4 pounds since Monday…probably just water. Been finding I’ve felt a tiny bit sick around lunch time and don’t start to get hungry until late afternoon!

Not sure if it’s placebo effect but I’m honestly amazed. I’ve been binge eating for so many years and I haven’t at all this week, even when presented with loads of treats. Mentally I’m feeling more positive.

With Voy it is optional to give GP details.

I lost 5lbs in the first week and none in the second (but no gain either) so … who knows? I suspect so many variables and it’s about finding a balance and rhythm that works for you!

Took the first dose today!

It was delivered around 9am, so I'd already had a milky coffee (but no food). Didn't notice any effects or side effects today, but interesting to see if it's different on an empty stomach tomorrow.

@holymolybalamory i weigh daily but only recording weekly. I’m so close to being under 75kg, I hope I’m under by the start of next week.

I haven’t been the best prepared food wise today. Tesco is due tomorrow with better options but I have only managed about 950 calories today. I had a grenade protein bar for breakfast which actually took all morning to eat. I had 2 boiled eggs, an apple and a yoghurt during the afternoon and I made toast n hour or so ago. Only ate about a slice and a half of toast. I have drunk a lot of water which I do usually and only 1 coffee.

You’re not registered anywhere? What do you do if you need a GP? I don’t go to mine often so just put the name of the practice :)

I’m doing weekly with random days here and there.

I find having a consistent day I weigh keeps it more realistic. The times I’ve done it daily it fluctuates up and down and I end up fixated. I think it fluctuates due to lots of reasons - water, etc. So for me it isn’t that helpful although some people like a daily weigh in.

I never need a GP, I never get sick, so have no name to put down. Most docs round me aren't taking new patients. I don't live in UK.

Could anyone tell me what the Voy video call entails? Will they prescribe without the video call? It will be hard for me to get the time and space feom my family to do the call

I think you only need a video call if your photos are rejected. I submitted photos and they were approved, so that would be your first step.

I’m on day 3 no massive side effects yet but I did drive this evening as I just didn’t fancy any drinks, it was a planned event where everyone was having a few.. very odd feeling but my brain just said nope.

I’ve not weighed yet but I weirdly already feel less bloated and I’m thirsty for sure so drinking more, so I’m out it down to water retention.

i Have 5-8kg to loose but want to take it very slowly, as it will show up on my quickly as I’m short and I’d rather not have to also buy new clothes!

I’ve not seen that number in a very long time. I’m so pleased.

Day 3 pill already done. Walked the dog for an hour, now about to have my coffee and breakfast.

I did voy on Tuesday. The video call goes though the use of the tablet. It’s basically a recap of what you filled in online. You need to wear clothes that fit your body so no baggy t shirts etc. I was asked to stand next to a door so she could judge my height. Then I had to stand in the scales for my weight. That was it.

I didn’t shop around for price. I needed someone to take me with a lower bmi.

I use the Voy Menopause app to get my testosterone and to get help for recurring UTIs and they are really good, so I assumed that weight loss side of their company would be good too. It's only been 3 days but I am happy to say the app has been really good so far. I didn't look at any other providers because I wanted to 'keep it all in one place'.
