Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

I think the suppression has definitely started, I wasn’t imagining it.
Met my friend at a cafe for lunch and only fancied a glass of water!!!

Then came home and ate my prepared chicken salad, only ate about 1/2 of it, and I’m full.

I also ordered a fizzy drink at the cafe, and didn’t touch it. Really didn’t want it, which is crazy for me because usually I love a fizzy drink!

Those taking the tablet then returning to bed - this is not recommended for maximum absorption you should be upright. I’d you feel like your tablet maybe not as effective this could be why.

Can I ask is anyone with OUSHK?

I’ve just been on to order my next delivery and it’s starting at £135.00 when it was 85.00 before - I honestly do not recall anything saying that the price was introductory- and can’t find anything in my emails saying so either. Most of the reason I switched from mj to this (with Oushk) was the price so I’m feeling really peed off.

Oh!! Thanks for the tip. I had no idea about this. I've been having it in bed every day! And often going back to sleep. I do feel it is working and have lost a few kilo but maybe that is just willpower/placebo. Will try this tomorrow and see how it differs.

So I'm now in my third week (day 15 I think) and yes, appetite suppression started on the first day for me. Like you wasn't sure if I was making it up, but now I've been on it a little while, I am certain it wasn't. The appetite suppression fluctuates a bit for me day to day -- some days I am actively hungry (though still not prowling round for junk food every two minutes); and today I for the first time was halfway through a mouthful of breakfast and was just like "nope, that's enough, no more for me now" (though have been hungry for lunch sooner than normal, too, so ... variable appetite!)

It started for me on the first day too. Immediately obvious that it wasn’t placebo as the thought of eating any more was impossible. Before my appetite has always been huge and attempts to use willpower have been painful. Then I spend my days obsessing about food with a sore stomach and eventually snap and absolutely gorge! I would also be like a fiend scoffing chocolate in the evening even after a huge dinner. Now I don’t have to make any effort to avoid it, I just don’t want it or feel hungry for anything at all.

It’s nice to be free of it as it would previously affect my mood. Hanger was intense and I definitely had sugar crashes. Have barely touched sugar in nearly 2 weeks. I used to eat chocolate every single day

I haven't heard that at all about needing to sit up. I know a lot of people on American forums, they've had the pill for months now, take it and go back to sleep.

I've just been reading a chat about this on Reddit. I'm going to try getting up immediately tomorrow and see if there's any difference but there seems to be much disagreement about it. I feel happy with how it has been working for me so far but curious about the possible difference.

Mariettta · 23/07/2026 17:02

I take mine then do a headstand.

I've just had a look at the leaflet and it says nothing about it being more effective if you are upright. It will be absorbed through the gut whatever position you're in.

Day 7 for me and the sulphur burps have hit! Not as bad as on the jab but still yuk!

G1nF1zz · 23/07/2026 19:57

Day 12 and 2kgs down. Had no real side effects bar a few headaches early on. I'm not snacking and not craving snacks, I had no real withdrawal which usually happens when I give these things up which makes me think the pills are doing something.

It's interesting reading everyone's experiences

Bookaholic73 · 23/07/2026 20:22

The end of day one.

I’ve not had any side effects apart from tiredness. I’ve had a nap this afternoon, and was fine.
I usually binge/overeat after dinner, but this evening I had a twister ice cream and didn’t feel like eating anything else.

beconsistent23 · 23/07/2026 21:13

Day 1 done. Bit burpy and slight headache but otherwise fine. Felt hungry but then couldn’t think what I wanted to eat and felt done with whatever I was eating more quickly. In never heard before news- roasted a chicken and didn’t eat a morsel of skin! And as for wine - no interest. Quite bizarre- in a good way.

digitalkiosk · 24/07/2026 06:09

6 am first tablet down the hatch.

poolcrew · 24/07/2026 07:00

Morning all! Week 2 weigh in for me and I’m 5lbs down! So that’s 10lbs in 2 weeks 😳

wasn’t expecting another massive loss this week, so I’m assuming it will slow down next week.

yesterday was the first day that I was hungry. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner (still less than 1500 cals) but I’ve been struggling to eat more than 1000

I’m mainly eating fruit, Greek yogurt with berries and 20g nutty muesli, chicken and veg. Don’t need to snack, don’t want chocolate (shocking!!) and have had no alcohol for 2 weeks. I don’t get the ‘feeling full mid meal’ but my portions are tiny now.

in the last week I have been out for a curry and had friends over so I’m confident this is something I can stick with. I think I’ll need to take it for life though. Have been a yo-yo dieter for over 20 years. Lost 5 stone on slimming world but have put 3 back on post covid, moving abroad, moving home and general life. Tried SW again but just couldn’t stick to it.

Baldybastard · 24/07/2026 08:47

Day 16 for me. I haven’t really had any side effects. Felt nauseous once and a bit burpy occasionally. I have felt a slightly full feeling but not enough to change my eating habits so far, unfortunately. I love food, love cooking and am an emotional eater. I’ve had previous success losing weight and maintaining (for a while) by intermittent fasting and following the human being diet. I still follow a 16:8 eating pattern, cook from scratch, loads of veg - but simply eat too much for a short 56 year old. I’ll be interested to see if increasing to 4g has an effect.

IVFMammy · 24/07/2026 09:18

Day 12 for me and I’m 8 lbs down! 🙌
im getting fuller so much faster and wanting healthier food. Loving over night oats for breakfast and Egg muffins for lunch. Bringing food to work everyday instead of popping out for lunch, saving so much money, who am I?! 😂 Long may it continue!!

Bookaholic73 · 24/07/2026 09:22

Day 2 pill has been taken. I took it at 5am and went back to sleep for a few hours.

I have a very minor headache this morning, so will try to be better at drinking water today.

Is anyone else not trying to lose weight super fast?
I will be trying to eat my 1800 calorie deficit calories as I want to retain energy and muscle as much as possible.

See, I think this will save me money too! I’ll be paying £100 a month for the pills, and I would easily spend more than that per month on binge food and unhealthy snacks.

Blimey. I couldn’t eat all of my breakfast this morning. I have a slight headache and that’s 3.5 hours after taking first tablet.

That’s how I felt yesterday and today too.
I couldn’t even finish my morning coffee!

After feeling that it was working, I'm starting to feel that it wears off by dinner time. My evening snacking urges are back. I've ordered 4mg for next month, currently on around day 15. I'm really hoping the 4mg pull is more effective. My period may be affecting my appetite suppression though...

FlorenceLyons · 24/07/2026 11:19

A week in and I’m five pounds down! Happy with that, though I realise some of it might be water. Week 2 will be more of a test, I think.

I’m definitely eating less, and hardly snacking at all, but I’m still not sure how much of that is actually the effect of the pill and how much is me making an effort because I want it to work. In some ways I guess it doesn’t matter, but it might start to once the initial motivation wears off. We’ll see!

fridgemagnet71 · 24/07/2026 11:21

Day two. Can feel it working already. The Voy app says to take 10 minutes to eat your food, do any of you time your eating? It actually makes the food more enjoyable x

wegogovy · 24/07/2026 13:08

Day 3, I’ve already cut down the amount of sugar in my morning cup of tea and it takes forever to drink it. Last night I had chicken breast and broccoli for dinner and when I got to a certain point in my meal I just didn’t want anymore.

watching TV and an advert came on for Haagen Daaz which normally would have had me heading to the fridge/freezer for something sweet - didn’t fancy that at all.

i think the fact that I’ve taken the plunge and really want to make this work is forcing me to reevaluate all my food choices.

No major side effects to report yet.

I’m on Day 5 and also finding this (after a positive first couple of days) - even as early as lunchtime 😕 Unless I see an improvement, I will definitely be moving to a higher dose next month.

Bookaholic73 · 24/07/2026 14:49

I ate my breakfast at 8am, and it got to 2.30 and I started getting hungry. I’ve had a super busy morning and just totally forgot about food!
Making lunch now.

I’ve developed quite the headache today, maybe it’s because I’m hungry, maybe it’s because I’m detoxing from sugar, maybe it’s because of the pill. Who knows!
