Anyone else waiting for this? I am, let’s start a thread to see how we all get on. I have two stone to lose. My DH said yesterday that ‘I am a bit plump’. Upset, though it’s true.

I'm going round in circles trying to decide which is the right supplier for me. I don't want a subscription I just want to try it for a month and see if I want to continue at the best cost. Who should o pick???

I’m on day three of the Wegovy pill and feeling really disappointed that I don’t feel any effect whatsoever! I don’t have any reduction in appetite, and also no side effects, I don’t feel like I’m taking anything! I’m doing it correctly, taking it first thing in the morning and waiting 30+ minutes before having coffee (don’t eat till lunchtime). Has anyone else had this? Do I need to wait for it to build up? I’ve never tried any WLI before, and reading about it on here I was so hopeful. I only need to lose about a stone and a half to get to where I want to be. Perhaps I need the next dose up. My DH has been taking Mounjaro for a couple of years and had effects from the first dose. Feeling a bit miffed!

Day one and two I felt positive. Placebo impact possibly? Today just eating normally. No side effects.

slight nausea as I said day one when I had my cuppa but could have been nerves.

certainly thinking about food choices more.

see what tomorrow brings.

YourCleverSheep · 22/07/2026 19:35

@BridgetRandomfuck have you had the recommended 120ml of water with the pill

Femaleone · 22/07/2026 20:26

Day 8 for me. Can't say I've had any side effects except maybe feeling a little yucky once or twice which passed very quickly.

8lbs down so I'm delighted with that!

I'm not sure what's working, placebo effect, money I've paid. Who knows? Right now my only dilemma is whether to increase dose!

I'm also so sorry I didn't do this before!

I went with Med Express £62 introductory offer. Well worth it.

Bonnybonsai · 22/07/2026 20:56

I placed my first order with Bolt yesterday. Just waiting for clinician review.

I've always been very supportive of others using WLI, but I've found it hard to accept that my own weight is not just some kind of personal failure, and that I also deserve treatment. I'm hoping the feeling will fade when I start the tablets.

Bolt is fine for that. It’s really easy to cancel after you receive your first one.

I take it with water, but not measured it out - I suppose maybe half a glassful? I’ll try doing it with 120ml and see what happens. Looking around online it seems it can take a while to get going, think I’m just being impatient!

Three weeks in and I've lost one more pound (8lbs altogether) so my BMI is officially out of the overweight range! Woohooo!! Next month's has arrived and I'm sticking at the 1.5 dose and then I'll see where I am and decide on whether to stop.

I would be utterly delighted with that in 3 weeks.

I am! These are the 8lbs I've been trying to lose for a few months. I had frustratingly plateaued

Day 14 for me today.

I love this!!! Slight sicky feeling for the first hour after I’ve taken the pill but I’m a bit of a sicky feeling person anyway….
In 2 weeks I’ve got rid of the 7lbs that I’ve been struggling with for the last 3 years! I lost 7 stone on WW years ago and although I’ve kept that off, I’ve always struggled with the last stone and amazingly it’s finally coming off!
Still not bothered by wine 😳 I’ve had a bottle in the fridge for the last 10 days and it’s remained unopened which is unheard of for me!
The food noise has gone completely and I don’t even think about snacking. Normally I’d grab a handful of crisps or a few crackers everytime I went in the kitchen…I don’t even think about it now. I feel like my head is clear of ‘food’ and at mealtimes I can make much better decisions because I’m focusing on fuelling my body rather than just eating whatever I can get my hands on.

Ahh amazing! This sounds really similar to me. I wfh a lot and was constantly grabbing food through the day. I just… don’t do that anymore, it’s so weird!

Me too! To both quotes! My only real complaint is that I've 100% gone off some of my favourite foods. I feel my diet is now kind of boring. If I eat breakfast, it's a poached egg with yogurt and berries or egg bites. Lunch today was a turkey, salad and apple sandwich on sourdough. Dinner was salmon and stir fry with noodles Like, really boring normal food! We go out for dinner and I can never find anything on the menu I want to eat. And I miss wine! I love wine!! But my body is like, nope. And THAT is why I"m 8lbs down already lol.

Day 1 for me too.I took the pill at 6am, then went out for an hour walk.
Feeling fine, still looking forward to my breakfast and coffee as usual.

No nausea or anything so far 🤞

Day 1 for me as well. Took it at 7.10am and I'm feeling a bit nervous. I'm 55 and am on HRT. I'm 5 2" and weight was 11 stone 6.5 lbs this morning. Lost 2 stone in 2021 from fasting and it was really easy but I have put 1 stone of that back on and fasting doesn't seem to be working for me now. I'm with Voy (1.5 dose). Hoping to get to 10 stone so I can wear my favourite clothes again. I am liking the Voy app so far x

beconsistent23 · 23/07/2026 07:46

Good luck!

Thank you! Have had breakfast and coffee, but only managed about 3/4 of what I’d normally eat, and now I feel really full.

It’s difficult to know if that’s psychological, as I’m sure any suppression wouldn’t have started so quickly. Would it?

Mariettta · 23/07/2026 07:55

I like the Voy app too. The meal planner is surprisingly good.

beconsistent23 · 23/07/2026 08:09

Also Voy. Have more to lose. SW 97kgs (post holiday). Have planned a morning trip to gym so will eat after as lower risk strategy!

Namechangewegovyjune26 · 23/07/2026 08:27

I did my Bolt check in today and have decided to stay on 1.5mg for my second month. We are going away and I don’t want to get ill - I hope the effects won’t wear off during my second month as it’s been going well so far.

Did a weigh in and I’ve gone from 74kg to 70.4kg - which means my BMI is now 29.7… officially overweight and not obese 🥳

Thehumblesmidge · 23/07/2026 10:25

barabuns · 22/07/2026 11:31

Checking in on Day 3. Felt a bit nauseous a few hours after taking the pill (first time for that) but I was also so hungry at 2am but couldn’t eat anything else it wouldn’t have been the required 8hours for taking the pill in the morning. So not sure if I was actually a bit low sugar /hungry and that made me feel a tad nauseous. I had a 10 min lie down and some breakfast and feel fine now.
I would agree with the snacking being less. But still not sure if it’s me being more mindful, as let’s face it the cost invested in this does keep one focussed (or at least it does me). I think what I’m saying is if I put £150 a month in a savings account and used will power would it be the same. I really want this to work. I’m sure it will but not quite the instant feeling some are reporting.

I’d be fatter but £150 richer every month 😂

So I'm now in my third week (day 15 I think) and yes, appetite suppression started on the first day for me. Like you wasn't sure if I was making it up, but now I've been on it a little while, I am certain it wasn't. The appetite suppression fluctuates a bit for me day to day -- some days I am actively hungry (though still not prowling round for junk food every two minutes); and today I for the first time was halfway through a mouthful of breakfast and was just like "nope, that's enough, no more for me now" (though have been hungry for lunch sooner than normal, too, so ... variable appetite!)

I had the same. I just don’t see how it can be placebo because I’ve done things like Prolon where everything you consume is provided and I was miserable and constantly thinking about food. I really thing this has done something to my body/brain (and delighted about it) Some drugs do work quickly - thinking about recreational drugs people take that have very quick effects!

I have this weird sensation of feeling hungry but it’s not like a compulsion - which I now realise I had before. With snacks I can remember the feeling of wanting it and sometimes I’ll think about it out of habit - but in terms of actually eating it I am just unbothered! I had a magnum with the kids yesterday and didn’t finish it because although objectively it tasted nice I just felt it was excessive. I really hope someone is studying this because it’s fascinating!

30not13 · 23/07/2026 13:33

Those taking the tablet then returning to bed - this is not recommended for maximum absorption you should be upright. I’d you feel like your tablet maybe not as effective this could be why.

Can I ask is anyone with OUSHK?

I’ve just been on to order my next delivery and it’s starting at £135.00 when it was 85.00 before - I honestly do not recall anything saying that the price was introductory- and can’t find anything in my emails saying so either. Most of the reason I switched from mj to this (with Oushk) was the price so I’m feeling really peed off.
