@Sanch1 : my goals are similar to you, I want to lose 2-3 stone for health & looks reasons - which will get me to high end of a healthy BMI
I’m perimenopausal and have been gaining & losing the same couple of stone for years (decades) but notice it’s getting harder so thought this may help
Ive able to lose this weight in the past without WLI but it’s mentally demanding and tbh I just don’t have the bandwidth for an obsessive focus on diet right now
So I want to use a low dose of wegovy to help manage my appetite and cravings, to lose around 1-2 pounds a week for next 3-4 months, after which I will maintain for a while
It’s helping enormously already in week one, & it builds up in the system over 3-4 weeks (so next weeks lowest level in my system pre jab day will be the same as this weeks high)
I jabbed on Wed night - so far no side effects, lack of interest in wine or sugar, and eating much smaller portions of healthy foods is easy - so it’s a way to make dieting as I normally would easy
i think the blood sugar management is also helping as I’m not hangry or desperate to eat (but I get stomach rumbles from physical hunger a few hours after my last - smaller- meal)
I actually wonder if this is how normal, slim people feel?
