@NeedSleepNow I worked down from 7.5mg, coming down around 1mg every few weeks. Took 1.7mg tonight, hoping for a stable week!

@Blowingrasberries i’d love to hear more about how you’ve found it and how you came off. I’m hoping to follow you in the next month or so

Blowingrasberries · 07/07/2026 16:12

@Gingermidget yes of course. I did exactly what you’re doing - I reduced down and also increased the days between jabbing. I didn’t plan on a certain date for my last jab it just sort of happened when I realised it was over 2 weeks since my last 2.5 so I figured let’s just see how it goes without.
Meantime I logged my weight and food diary with chat gpt, along with exercise, water intake and when I felt hungry or when I had food noise. Chat detected patterns and food preferences so is helping me make healthy choices and fuel enough to avoid wanting to binge or reach for quick sugar/carb fix. It seems to be working so far, weight seems stable and I am not in a constant state of hunger or feeling I have to deprive myself. Early days… let’s see how I’m doing 6 months off 😬

Hi all, nice to see so many positive stories - I can’t believe so many are approaching/achieving target weight. I’m back on the WLI boards looking for advice on maintenance as I’m approaching target. Those who are reducing dose are you having any issues ordering pens at longer intervals than every 4/5 weeks? I’m worried if I start making my 10mg pen last more than 5 weeks they won’t prescribe me another due to the long gap? I don’t really want to buy lower dose pens as they are not so cost effective! 2x5mg is so much more than a 10mg.

Blowingrasberries · 07/07/2026 19:24

@Sausagedogsarethewurst i had no problem with the the long gaps and ordering, i used Fylde. I did what you’re doing, I used a 7.5 pen to wean down

ArtfulCrowVersion2 · 07/07/2026 22:51

I have lost another 2lbs this week which makes a 5lb loss in the past two weeks since starting back on 2.5mg after a break. Hungry though so will definitely need to move up to 5mg on the next pen.

SW: 14st 10lbs
CW: 11st 1lbs
GW: 9st 7lbs

Funnily enough I ordered a 5 pen from Morrisons and they wanted to see the last script…. It was dated Sept 2025 🤣

I bulk ordered from Asda and Mozzers due to the price increase back then, have been getting 10 weeks worth out of my 5mg pens…they are still reviewing and I suspect will cancel and say I can only have a 2.5

That’s one hell of a forward plan you had back in September! I bought 3x5mg before the price rise and thought I was being organised! Have you been on 2.5mg all this time or did you stop and are now restarting?

MrJollyLivesNextDoor · 09/07/2026 21:56

Hi everyone 👋

I will have a read back and a proper catch up with everyone’s news, I’ve been absent as just so so busy with work and holidays and family stuff and the heat and oh just everything!

Since I got back from holiday early June I am stuck around the 12st1 mark… I am still on 2.5 every 10-12 days or so and I have been very very lax in terms of diet, exercise and water.

Work is calming down now so I’m going to reprioritise my walking, increase water intake, reduce wine and gin and toffifee intake 😭 and try and focus on getting back to 11st8 which is where I was a couple of months ago.
My goal weight is 10st6 and right now it seems very unlikely that I will ever achieve that.

i must say though, having lost 3stone I thoroughly enjoyed my holiday wardrobe including wearing a bikini, I’m happy to wear my short denim shorts absolutely everywhere and even be photographed in them, just being photographed in general is no longer stressful and no longer requires placement of a smaller child or other human in front of me during the photocall, my size 14 legs are not perfect by any means but I’m happy to get them out and am St Tropezing them regularly to the point of Donald Trump orangeness 😆🤣

I always hated summer from a work wardrobe perspective but now it’s floaty dresses that don’t look like tents, Gap 3/4 capri pants (from my 2015 wardrobe that I could never bear to part with) with a top that can skim my arse rather than try to hide it.

Since starting these jabs almost a year ago I honestly feel like a different person, much more like the person I was in my 30s rather than my 50s and I am so thankful for that 🙌

Hope you are all enjoying the summer as much as I am ☀️

Been on 2.5 since the beginning - I was losing 2-3lb per week so didn’t see the point going up to 5mg.

Bought a few 5mg pens and I take 2.5 for 10 weeks - I know they’ve changed the pens to stop the golden doses now though 😬

What an absolute palaver ordering from Morrisons, which is a shame as they had a £30 off code!

Had to speak with them as their system couldn’t cope with the last years bulk order, he said they were seeing this a lot. He emailed me which I had to reply to, stating the bulk order. He also suggested I attach a screenshot of my medical record which they have accepted in the past.

After another review, turns out they won’t accept the screenshot and I must request my GP to provide it (via an online link request system that frankly isn’t fit for purpose with regards to making an actual appointment, let alone something like this!).
Oh how I laughed at the prospect.
GP will take forever, probably 30 days, and they won’t do it at reception because hahaha well that would be far too easy and save everyone lots of time wouldn’t it.

Have cancelled my order and now tried with Asda who I also used previously and didn’t require jumping through flame laden hoops iirc.

Lets see what happens lol

How annoying @MrJollyLivesNextDoor, given providers encourage buying a few sometimes systems need updates. I got a £50 off referral for med express and they accepted the last prescription but took almost a week from order to delivery.

Very annoying!

Anyway, ordered from Asda at 6pm or so yesterday, no photo evidence required at all, no medical records nonsense, approved this morning and collected this afternoon! Would recommend 🙂

£327 for a 2.5 and 5 bundle

SW 18st 8lb

Great news @Wellfuckme, what an achievement!

Wellfuckme · 13/07/2026 13:26

Thank you all. I still can't believe it. 2st to go to get into a healthy bmi though but I actually believe that I can do this.

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 15/07/2026 14:33

Can anyone believe we are all approaching our one year anniversary?!
This time last year I was almost 5st heavier, sore, uncomfortable, unhappy and scared to begin.

reluctantbrit · 15/07/2026 14:54

Just one week for me until the anniversary.

I lost 0.6kg in 10 days but I also was away, staying with relatives, eating pastries, cake, 3 meals out and drinking wine. I must admit I am surprised. It shows that I can make good choices when out and look at portion sizes.

Still 2kg until a healthy BMI so I may not make it until next week but I am so close. Then another 5kg to goal.

SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease · 15/07/2026 15:27

That’s great progress @reluctantbrit, well done.

I am a fortnight away from a year and 2kg away from a healthy BMI and just over 5kg from goal too.
I am ten weeks away from a girls spa weekend so hoping to hit goal by then.

sfraxx · 15/07/2026 15:30

Good afternoon everyone,

I weighed on Monday but forgot to update. I’m down to 9st0.9lbs, so hoping to have the 0.9lbs off before Fridays holiday as that was pre holiday goal.

i’m back on the 25th and no holidays booked now until next year so no more set backs lol.

my overall end goal is 8st7lbs which is right centre of a healthy bmi for myself as I’m only a shorty at 5ft.

well done to everyone on their amazing achievements. Who would have thought almost a year ago, we would be here and so close to reaching goals!
go us!

well done to you all🩷xx

Wellfuckme · 19/07/2026 09:33

2lb off this week.

SW 18st 8lb
CW 12st 5lb
12.5mg

Still can't believe I'm writing 12st something. This has to be one of the best things I've ever done. Trying to keep a focus on getting into the 11st bracket.

Pumpernickelbrakes · 22/07/2026 20:09

Hello everyone, great to hear all th epositive stories and successes as we approach our one year anniversary,

we have done so well! What an amazing tool MJ is.

I have reached goal! I’m staying on 10mg and slowly increasing the time between shots for now. I see this as an (expensive) long term investment in my health - it manages my inflammation like nothing else I have ever tried.

My rosacea, my arthritis in my back, my general pain levels and recovery from exercise are all so much better and my endocrinologist wants me to try staying off thyroid meds entirely for three months after titrating down slowly.

I have had Hashimotos thyroid disease for over a decade. It’s an autoimmune condition and has caused me significant problems with weight gain, incredibly slow weight loss no matter how hard I’ve tried, exhaustion, hair loss, pain and insomnia. Now I feel fine. I’m fit and well. And over sixty pounds down, with a BMI of 21.5.

Just amazing.

I am still fiddling about with what my best calorific intake is. probably around 1800- 2000. Will be on holiday in the U.K. for the whole of August, so will be drinking and eating more than normal with family and friends - but also able to walk around all day (which I cannot do here due to insane heat and humidity) so we shall see if I gain weight or not, I am happy to have a five or six pound variance in my weight but want to stay under ten stone from now on.

Am packing my exercise bands so I can continue resistance training while I’m on holiday. I love my muscles 😆. I love my healthy body, and want to get stronger and eventually have a tighter waist instead of menopausal fluff.

Is creatine and electrolytes powder easy to find in U.K. supermarkets? Or is it best to pick it up in a supplements store?

Congratulations @Pumpernickelbrakes, you must be feeling great!

Ceratine and electrolytes are readily available near me in Tesco, Holland and Barrett etc.

Pumpernickelbrakes · 23/07/2026 14:23

Thank you very much @SkinnyOatFlatWhiteForMePlease
