@DGmaintaining maybe it is peri? Up until
my thyroid thing I was very regular but still had a load of symptoms?
@cloudjumper I don’t know if your place is the same but if anyone gets signed off whilst they are on an active pip, sick pay is withheld. Therefore whilst I think getting signed off could be a great idea to give you some space, either check your policies at work or go asap before the pip starts. Also no sick pay whilst on notice. Good luck with it, it sounds horrendous.
@HeidiLite honestly it’s so annoying. I remember when dh lost 1.5 stone in as many months by cutting out the biscuits he ate (he did eat the entire pack tbf) and drinking more water. Sizing down from a large fries to a regular. Arsehole.
@PenelopePitstopPersists pleased the new job is good. It’s interesting re the food - I am now firmly on my medication and the desire to eat everything in sight has significantly reduced. I am tapering down my calories and it’s not been too tricky at all. I have found myself thinking maybe I don’t need the mj after all? The food noise is back in that I can pick (I just ate dds flump) but I seem to be ok.
I do have 3 pens in the fridge though and they run out in April iirc so that seems like a hideous waste of money plus I actually think it may help with my inflammation symptoms so I think I probably will go back on, albeit hopefully at a low dose.
i am feeling heaps better. Symptoms are way better and whilst i still get tired very easily, nothing like before. I am making sure I have a couple of long walks a day and that is really helping mood and energy. Weight wise it’s stable at the low end. Looking at my weigh ins, i stopped losing ‘too much’ weight back in June so hopefully I won’t put too much back on, especially if I moderate my calories down to what they should be, not those of a 15 year old boy…….
