Hi everyone, starting a second thread as the other one is almost full. We made it through month one, now here’s to a happy, healthy and lighter 2026!

Wow @user593 that has come off so quickly! I guess a lot of it was water?? It’ll be nice to carry on from where you started.

I had someone at work who couldn’t recognise me yesterday although I haven’t seen her in years so it could be my age too ha

My weight has slowly crept down again after a bit of a stall. Lost 3lb this month so far, so slower but still losing.

Edited

Water and probably just the sheer amount of food I’d eaten sitting in my stomach I suspect 🤣

My bloody husband bought me a chocolate orange, just because. My fave chocolate. Sabotage, surely?

user593 · 18/04/2026 16:56

@TaffyTabby My DP tries to sabotage me on a regular basis despite being on WLI himself, although now he knows it doesn’t work he does it less. He was up all night, sick because he ate half a packet of biscuits late last night!

Springbaby2023 · 18/04/2026 17:59

@user593 well done that’s great! Must be encouraging to be able to crack on from where you were.

I have massively stalked recently, not lost anything in almost three weeks now. So hoping for a whoosh soon! Enjoying the NSVs still though.

Same for me @Springbaby2023, haven’t lost weight in 3 weeks.

diggitydoo · 19/04/2026 09:23

hey!

as of this morning I have now lost 3 stone.

I have about another 10 to lose so it’s not really visible, but I can now walk downstairs without holding onto handrail, walk down the aisle on a train. Put the table down on the train. Am in generally less pain and am more mobile . Which is amazing.

on 7.5 mg and finding it abiT easier now I’m more into rythymn of it

user593 · 19/04/2026 10:24

I’m now 200g under the weight I was when we went on holiday. It’s not much, but I’ll take it 😅🥳

user593 · 19/04/2026 10:25

Well done @diggitydoo! You must feel so much better already ☺️

Springbaby2023 · 19/04/2026 21:27

Feel like I’m slipping inadvertently into maintenance. I don’t want to buy any more jabs because a) the cost and b) we may want to try for another child this year, undecided but obviously can’t while on the jabs. I was hoping to shift a bit more weight first but I’m definitely stalling even on 10mg, so think about using this last one to gradually reduce dose and see where I am. I’m then thinking I could always try again in the future but for now thinking maybe focus on making this my new ‘set point’. To be honest getting a bit fed up of some of the side effects as well so just wanting to see how I feel without them!

Meant to jab tonight but cba to go to the fridge so will do 7.5mg tomorrow instead an may then stick to 8-9 days for a couple of weeks

That makes sense @Springbaby2023 , sometimes life and the bigger things that you want need to take priority.

I would love another baby but I find having two pretty hard so I’m trying to make my peace with finishing.

Springbaby2023 · 19/04/2026 21:48

@TaffyTabby We have been torn for a while to be honest but wouldn’t want a huge gap so I kind of want to be off the jabs so at least we have the option. It’s such a hard decision to make, I definitely feel your pain.

OP posts:
TaffyTabby · 20/04/2026 11:43

Yes I always wanted small gaps too. It’s a tough one! You’ll have done so much good by getting in better health if you do decide to get pregnant again. Wishing you all the best whatever way you choose.

I’m happy to say I’ve had another little whoosh this week and losing again. Officially three stone lost as of this am. Two more to go!

user593 · 20/04/2026 12:17

Well done @TaffyTabby!

My boys have a three year age gap which feels about perfect (although DC2 was a happy accident). Definitely couldn’t imagine a third though 😅 I was very unwell in my last pregnancy which is what motivated me to start WLI. Good luck with whatever you decide @Springbaby2023! 💕

SexyFrenchDepression · 20/04/2026 14:38

Well done @TaffyTabby!

@Springbaby2023 such a shame you are still getting side effects. I have been reading up on maintenance and it is suggested to lower the dose but have it weekly rather than higher dose and longer in between to avoid spikes (and therefore reducing side effects).

I am still taking 2.5mg and maintaining at the moment but just eating what I fancy. I may reduce further at some point but want to be comfortable at this weight a bit longer.

SexyFrenchDepression · 20/04/2026 14:39

Ooh nearly at new thread! @Springbaby2023 will you start a new one as you did this one?

Springbaby2023 · 20/04/2026 21:43

@SexyFrenchDepression Oh that’s interesting to know! To be fair I was thinking more like 8 or 9 days rather than pushing much more than that, just because also by the end of the week I’m using more willpower so I think that sets me up better for coming off it? But who knows, kind of making it up as I go at this point! My side effects are definitely manageable, but it’s that plus the cost plus everything else that is making me think it’s time to draw the line, I never planned to be on it long term (at least initially, who knows what the future holds). Glad 2.5 is working well for you!

@TaffyTabby Well done on hitting the three stone mark, that’s brilliant! Imagine what a positive impact you’ve had on your health from that alone.

And yes I will start a new thread for us.

I've been a bit absent from the thread & have stalled a bit on my losses...so moving up to 10mg this week, fingers crossed to start the downward trajectory again!

I'm not sure if this is permitted - I'm currently with Voy, and thinking of switching providers if anyone has a referral code & recommendation for a good supplier? I'm with Voy for at least another month if anyone wants my referral code xxx
