I just checked, I’m at a 21.5% loss, pre holiday anyway 😅 sounds quite good like that!

SexyFrenchDepression · 08/04/2026 14:31

27% loss for me in total but I will definitely put some back on now I'm better!

Had doctors appointment and didnt end up talking much re hormone issues as they have discovered that one of my breast implants (nearly 15 yrs old now) is potentially leaking. Need a scan tomorrow. They are not necessarily thinking its linked with me being unwell but were more interested in that now so have a scan tomorrow 😥 My own fault as TBH just lost track of years!!

@tobee i completely forgot about mini eggs and hot cross buns, they are my all time favourite but I've been too ill to even think about it!

tobee · 08/04/2026 15:31

Ooh no that does not sound fun @SexyFrenchDepression. Hope it gets sorted soon.

Springbaby2023 · 08/04/2026 22:23

Wow these percentages are amazing! Congratulations @EducatingRosemary on hitting target.

My percentage loss is only 14%, which is still good obviously but not a patch on some of these. Feeling a bit fed up today as I’ve put on another 2lb so 4lb in a week! Just feels like I’m kind of settling around the two stone ish loss and not able to push past this. I would love to lose another half stone or more but equally really don’t want to keep spending the money for slow progress, kind of think I’ll just focus on maintenance for now and then maybe in the future try to lose some more. I have done 90 mins of sport today though so trying to remind myself I’m doing really well in terms of looking after my body still.

@SexyFrenchDepression Really hope the scan goes ok tomorrow!

NSV, I’ve just noticed the crepey skin I had on my neck fat seems to have disappeared. Not sure if it’s eating a bit more on holiday, the sun, the extensive skincare regime I’ve been following (including an LED mask and microneedling) or just time but I’m so pleased! I still have some neck fat but the crepey skin was really aging me (I’m in my early 40s).

I have definitely found that that crepey skin does disappear a bit in time, my neck looked awful early on but is definitely better now. My arms need a lot more toning though, presumably it wont all disappear but hopefully will look significantly better with some toning.

All clear at breast clinic today, had ultrasound and mammogram and they said everything was fine and no ruptured implants. Consultant said its likely that it is because I've lost weight (plus getting older and losing the gravity in my boobs a bit) that i can feel the implants more. Strange its only one side but they said it all looks fine.

Now can concentrate on getting the peri symptoms looked at by doctor.

Weighed today and stayed the same which is surprising as my diet has been carbs and chocolate cake this week, albeit small amounts.

Good news to have a clean bill of health. Fingers crossed you are feeling much better. I’ll be joining you in getting my eating back on track after a few days away.

Thank you, yes lots better, just a bit tired but I think that is the stress of this last week. I imagine eating better will help how I feel also.

TaffyTabby · 11/04/2026 08:31

boo I’ve put on a lb this week
don't think it’s an actual gain though
I definitely seem to follow a pattern of same same same and then whoosh

NoNewClothes · 11/04/2026 17:35

Not sure when I last posted but I’m still plodding along with my 1lb a week loss overall, trying not to compare to some of the rates pp have lost at.

I’m on 5mg and it’s working, no side effects so happy to stay for as long as it continues to work. Though with summer coming along it’s tempting to go up to 7.5mg. Today at BMI of 27.5 at 5’5 so ideally a couple of stone more would be good. At this rate I’m looking at well in to the autumn.

Well done with some fantastic results, I’ve taken ages to catch up on all the posts here.

1lb a week is great, it will set you up well for keeping it off also. I found I had to adjust my daily calories so regularly to keep losing at a higher rate, I was losing 1-1.5lb a week after xmas for a couple of months then suddenly started getting higher losses again, I was really surprised so you might find you'll lose a bit more at random times.

A steady and repeated 1lb per week would have been unbelievably brilliant pre MJ so don’t lose perspective as that is a consistent and healthy sustained loss. Well done!

StealthMama · 12/04/2026 10:20

great to see so much progress on here! I’ve been so busy I haven’t kept up with the thread.

just back from 10 days holiday - UK based. Lots of walking, pub meals and wine. I also forgot to pack my jab so I went nearly an extra week without.

thankfully I’ve only gained 2lbs which I hope will be alcohol/food inflammation and should dip in a day or two.

but I’m still a bit stagnant on 7.5mg. I’m making a hard commitment to excercise effort and high proteins. It’s quite shameful in all the pubs and places we ate the healthy menu options were stark.

anyway, if I can sustain 1lb per week loss I’ll hit target in 8 weeks. Focus is needed!

Springbaby2023 · 12/04/2026 19:50

I’m definitely stuck on a plateau, don’t think it’s just that the jabs are wearing off, it’s more my mindset! One week of not tracking calories and now it’s so hard to start doing it again. Anyway just jabbed 10mg for the first time and I’m back to my exercise classes tomorrow night after two weeks off so I hope that will be help. Really ready to start trying to stick to maintenance soon, just need to lose a few more pounds.

We’re flying home today but back at a hotel with bathroom scales. I’ve gained 2.3kg (around 5lbs) over the 2 weeks we’ve been away (1 week with MJ, 1 week without MJ), which I’m okay with. I don’t feel I massively over ate although I did have treats because it’s a holiday! I avoided the traditional eggs/bacon/sausage breakfasts and ate Asian breakfasts which I think helped. I’d mentally prepared myself for up to 5kg (around 11lbs). My average weekly loss was around 1.5kg a week when we left so I’m confident I’ll shift this in a week or two at most and then be back on track.

user593 · 14/04/2026 09:23

Back home now and the scales say I’ve gained 3kg but I’m okay with that too. I’m going to go straight back onto 5mg tonight.

That’s good going - the reality is that holiday gain is normal and we should allow it.

Im just a bit annoyed that the pace has slowed down and its going to require more effort from me, but so be it.

i was 10.6 this morning, next major goal is 9.12 which is totally doable if I really work at it.

TaffyTabby · 14/04/2026 17:49

I would be happy with that after enjoying myself on holiday @user593

I’m down 1lb in 2 weeks but I’ve been so up and down that I wouldn’t be surprised if I was up again tomorrow.

I have to stick to my dose for three more weeks cause of the amount I have left in my pen - don’t want to waste any. Then I think I’m going to go up to 7.5mg.

EducatingRosemary · 14/04/2026 22:12

I didn’t realise I had to give more than 7 days notice to the previous online pharmacy I used (i change suppliers each month) so I have ended up with an extra pen today (at £30 more than I needed to pay). Oops!

So I now have a very good stock of four 5mg pens. With eight to ten doses from each, I have 9 months of maintenance jabs! Thats got to be plenty of time to embed good habits 😅

TaffyTabby · 15/04/2026 11:38

Oh that’s worth knowing, I haven’t been telling them - just not filling in the form for next pen - and haven’t been charged twice yet but I guess some of them line it up automatically??

I’m down another lb and finally my BMI is 29.9. Hurrah! Feels weird to be pleased to be “overweight” but it does sound better than “obese”.

How’s everyone’s week going?

user593 · 15/04/2026 21:16

Congrats @TaffyTabby!

Jet lag has hit me hard so I’ve only just taken my 5mg today. Meant to take it yesterday but fell asleep 😅 Looking forward to it kicking back in as with the jet lag stupor I’ve gone a bit rogue with my eating the last few days.

Yesss! Well done. That’s a real milestone 👏 and if you are anything like me also a real motivation to keep at it!

It was ‘Get a Drip’ who held me to the 7 day notice (i cancelled at 6 days as i just hadn’t realised/remembered that I needed to do that).

As one pen gives me ten doses I’m not too worried as it was £170 where as as a new customer I am paying around £140.

SexyFrenchDepression · 15/04/2026 23:20

Thats great @TaffyTabby 🥰

user593 · 18/04/2026 05:35

I’ve lost 2.7kg (just under 6lbs) in the last few days since getting back on the wagon so I’m very nearly back to the weight I was when we went on holiday 🙌 I was not expecting it to come off quite so quickly and it took longer for the MJ to kick in this time and I was eating a bit crap while it did, so I’m really pleased with that. Onward and upwards! I’m just a couple of weeks away from moving from Obese III to Obese II 🥳
