Hi everyone, starting a second thread as the other one is almost full. We made it through month one, now here’s to a happy, healthy and lighter 2026!

@user593 well done, what an incredible loss! You should be super proud.

@TaffyTabby What did you decide to do about the next dose?

I’ve been having a terrible week - jabbed a day early on Sunday as wanted to shift it forward slightly ahead of some time away of Easter. Stuck to 7.5mg but had the worst side effects since Monday, 48 hours of stomach cramps and diarrhoea, no end in sight (sorry if TMI!). At first I thought it was because of my food on Monday (had a Hello Fresh meal and it had 15% fat beef mince, I’d usually go lean) but surely a bit of mince can’t be having this much reaction. So now it’s made me quite paranoid to take my next dose when going away.

My final pen has arrived and is in the fridge for after my next dose, intend to space it out over several weeks though (depending on if these side effects do one!)

How’s everyone else doing?

TaffyTabby · 26/03/2026 14:48

Argh @Springbaby2023 sorry you’ve had such awful side effects. I’ve had that reaction 2-3 times and it’s always when I’ve gone up a dose and I don’t think it’s had much to do with what I’ve eaten.

I ended up going for a slightly higher dose, but a day late as I’m trying to move my dose to Fridays (opposite direction to you ha).

I am loving going to the shops to try clothes on. I fit in Next size 14 jeans so definitely down a size in 8 weeks which feels great. Also bought some regular boots (not wide calf) and they fit. Loving having more options.

SexyFrenchDepression · 26/03/2026 18:24

@Springbaby2023 sorry to hear you've had crap side effects.

I have had a strange week, totally forgot to jab for several days, haven't been great with food for one reason or another but not overeating, Im expecting to stick around the same I guess this week then need to up my game. Big birthday celebrations for my son next week so wont be perfect with food so my intention is to have a good few days beforehand back on track so I dont sabotage myself mentally.

SexyFrenchDepression · 26/03/2026 18:25

@TaffyTabby shopping is actually fun now, I have hated it for a while as nothing looked how I wanted it to!

Springbaby2023 · 26/03/2026 19:25

@TaffyTabby This was my 8th dose of 7.5 so would have thought I’d be fine! Really odd but on the plus side it’s lead to a bigger loss this week. Just worried about it happening again now.

TaffyTabby · 26/03/2026 20:26

Oh that is weird! Maybe it was what you ate then?

@SexyFrenchDepression sending you back on track strength. Life gets in the way sometimes. Will you get to wear something special for your son’s birthday celebrations?

Probably nothing too special but will be lovely to have my choice of lovely fitted clothes rather than trying to hide under spanx and baggy tops! I have 3 new pairs of size 8 jeans and some new tops that tuck in! I actually can't quite believe it!

Weigh in day today, 1.2kg/2.6lbs down this week. My app tells me I’ve ‘completed’ 40%. I’ve got 4kg/8.8lbs to go before I drop from Obese III to Obese II which I’m very excited about. After that it shouldn’t take so long to drop down the categories 😅

Another great week! You have been amazing and so motivated. I bet you feel great as well 🥰

SexyFrenchDepression · 27/03/2026 08:46

I reached target today, actually a teeny but under, target was 9 stone, today the scales said 8st13.8. I honestly never ever imagined I would see those numbers again. That is 3stone off since started MJ and a bit more I lost whilst trying to get someone to accept me. Exactly 2lb a week so although it feels quick its not, just really consistent which is nice.

Will keep in a deficit for a few weeks and try and get through easter unscathed, but I will have an Easter egg as Cadbury ones are my all time fave chocolate, maybe a creme egg or two but all within normal amounts i hope (had a mini creme egg mcflurry last week and was in agony for 2 days after, slight dairy intolerance and maybe the jabs but it was soooo worth it).

diggitydoo · 27/03/2026 12:31

does anyone have a discount code for Pharmacy4U?

diggitydoo · 27/03/2026 12:32

or where's the best place to switch to at the moment? Need a 7.5 by thursday

TheP1per · 27/03/2026 12:56

I just signed up to Pharmulous, don’t have a discount code but 5mg was only £164 and I ordered in the afternoon, around 3pm and it was with me the next morning. Really quick service. I was impressed, and the price was good too.

Springbaby2023 · 27/03/2026 13:23

I’ve just signed up with Lotus and was speediest delivery yet.

@SexyFrenchDepression well done you!! Surely our first on here to reach target weight? That must feel so good.

Thank you. I really do! I’m very much looking forward to not having to ask for a seatbelt extender when I fly tomorrow ✈️

user593 · 27/03/2026 13:33

I ordered from MedExpress the other day, in the morning, and got it the next day.

Definitely worth looking at Monj as you'll get the best price as a first time user.

Lotus are great, they do 2 pen deals and loyalty points also.

I think there was someone in here a while ago who was basically losing at same rate as me then lost 10lb in a week and got to target. I am so happy though, just need to figure out next steps, I am considering Pharmulous as I believe you only have to order once every 12 months on maintenance.

SexyFrenchDepression · 27/03/2026 14:21

Meant to post my shotsy graph, my doses are all over the place but it's always nice to see a graph 😂

Seriously well done! That’s a brilliant result at a perfect pace! Enjoy feeling fabulous - well deserved 🎉

Please keep posting so we can share next steps! After a very static few weeks I’ve dropped a little bit more and assuming it’s not a blip I’ve now lost 3st 7lbs and I’m 1.5lbs off my (rather arbitrary) target.

Can’t survive any longer with just one pair of jeans now I have two weeks off work, so dashed into Marks after doing the Aldi shop and grabbed two size 12s which I speedily tried on over my leggings. Both fitted so kept the softest ones and paid.

What a bloody revelation to be able to grab size 12 things and have them comfortably fit and look nice. 🙌

Still cold all the time though! 🤣🥶

Thank you, I still catch a glimpse in the mirror and feel surprised. Definitely not used to it yet. I will keeo posting as not sure how I am going to work it yet, I have another month before I need to buy my next pen so will do lots of research on maintenance providers, maybe will email a few.

Had the strangest conversation with a friend I havent seen for a long time. She said I looked great, she asked if it was diet or jabs, I said well both. She was surprised as she said all the other people she knew were on them looked awful. I think her pool of people is 3, basically 2 people have too much she thinks but then I thought there are probably loads of people on them she doesnt know about. I only know 2 other people in RL and they both look significantly better, really healthy.

TaffyTabby · 30/03/2026 09:41

My friend who lost 5 stone did initially look hagged to me - obviously I would never say that to her and I know that’s a cruel word but just to be honest on here.

But I dunno if it was just getting used to seeing her new face or if maybe it recovered from the initial shock, she now looks great. I do think she looks a bit older but chubby faces are always going to look more youthful, no way around it.

I was 12 stone 13 today! Got to my first goal of 13 stone at last. Two and a half stone lost and the same to go again before I’m a healthy BMI.

user593 · 30/03/2026 17:05

Well done @SexyFrenchDepression and @EducatingRosemary, what great achievements!

I took my last 5mg jab the day we flew overseas (Saturday). I haven’t weighed myself yet but I’ve really struggled to eat much. That said, strange foreign snacks are a weak point for me and I have had a few! I’m going to try and be fairly relaxed about it though. I’m definitely not where I was. I’m still eating comparitively tiny portions. Couldn’t face breakfast this morning even though it was included!

Springbaby2023 · 30/03/2026 21:00

@EducatingRosemary I hate feeling cold all the time, especially in this bloody weather!! Well done on the size 12s though, that must have felt great. I love M&S jeans.

@SexyFrenchDepression No-one I know who has been on the jabs has looked haggard, I just reckon MJ helps with face puffiness as well as actual weight loss. I saw a photo of myself from December earlier and thought my face looked puffy, and yet at the time I was well happy with the photo because my face looked so slim compared to pre MJ. So god knows what I looked like before.

@TaffyTabby Well done! Welcome to the 12s. Always feels so good to see a new scale number.

I was very nervous to take 7.5mg again yesterday after last week but went for it, actually slightly more as used golden dose for the first time. I was tempted to take 5mg instead as it’s my birthday Wednesday and we are away for a few days, but actually I figured that’s even more of a reason to take my normal dose so I enjoy it without overdoing it. Going to give myself a few days off calorie tracking as a birthday treat, and I’m not expecting to lose over the next couple of weeks anyway as I’ve definitely noticed a pattern of stalling then a woosh and I had my woosh last week. But will be nice to feel confident I’m not going to pile on pounds.

I have my 10mg pen in the fridge for next weekend, still unsure what dose I’ll actually take from it, most likely stick to 7.5mg but will see how this week goes in terms of side effects.
