Medino gives everyone an 8% code, each time you buy something.
It's at the end of the email they send when dispatching an order.
You have 28 days to use it.

Yes, mine expired because they didn’t have any in stock when I wanted to order.

Esurgery is massively more expensive than medino.

eibbed999 · 16/09/2025 17:16

I'm sure you're all right and there's nothing to worry about - unfortunately I just have the kind of brain that ALWAYS thinks there's something to worry about!

@TragicMuse, as has been pointed out, Medino usually offer you an 8% discount after ordering, which does bring their price lower than e surgery, even on subscription. But it expires - mine in 4 days - and I now find myself in the position of having a shelf full of MJ in the fridge (I got a free replacement for the damaged one from e surgery) and no real need for more just yet. E surgery also emailed me with a 15% off offer for Sep, though I can't use it in addition to the subscription reduction. Looks like a fairly simple type in code sent out en masse to everyone on their mailing list, not a personal one, so you could try it? SEPNEWS15 at check out apparently, valid until Sep 23.

eibbed999 · 16/09/2025 17:29

Sorry @TragicMuse, just saw that your Medino code had expired as well - maybe the e surgery one might work for you? Or maybe you're like me and don't even really need a new pen right now! I've gone from panic buying to this! Still not sure which I'll stick with. Once e surgery got their act together, their customer service was very good, but they are more pricey. At least all of this has shown me not to be hesitant about moving suppliers if there's a big price difference. Apart from worrying about the FBI kicking my doors in, obviously!

TragicMuse · 16/09/2025 17:42

Thanks @eibbed999 I have a 7.5 on the go and a 10 in the fridge so I suppose I’m ok for about the next 7 or 8 weeks, and a bit longer if I stick with 7.5 from my 10 pen…

I’m sure it will sort itself out!

I had another comment this week about how I was disappearing and that I couldn't possibly still be overweight. Meant kindly and definitely not as a snipe, but people do seem incredulous that I am still overweight, and not just a little bit. My BMI is just a smidge under 28 - I'd like to lose another 2 stone and it will be another one and a half stone before I am officially a healthy weight with BMI under 25. Is it symptomatic of the fact that most people are overweight or obese, and that what a healthy weight looks like is just unfamiliar to people?

I had the same. I think as they were so used to seeing me big that when I had lost 4/5s I seemed small to them but my bmi was still in the overweight section of the chart

don’t lose any more weight
you are disappearing
you look too skinny

etc

SilenceInside · 16/09/2025 18:25

The slightly mad thing is that I still qualify to start Mounjaro even now, as I have high BP and my BMI is still over 27. It’ll be another month at least before my BMI is under 27 I think.

I do also think that it’s as @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne says, peiple have a mental image of us as very overweight, and then they experience cognitive dissonance when we end up looking much smaller. I have extended family that I don’t see often, and I’m slightly dreading the Christmas meet ups, as it’s been at least 6 months since I last saw them. I think they will do the double take thing!

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 16/09/2025 18:40

Right, I've just had the last jab from my current MJ pen.

Next week I'm going to take one for the team and try the Wegovy.

I can always go back to MJ if necessary.

Has anyone here ended up with 2 suppliers at the same time? I was having trouble with Medino a while back so I went to e surgery. In the end I got one from both, no harm done as a one off, but not really necessary or financially sustainable longer term! But now I'm guessing I'll have 2 suppliers on my medical records, slightly overlapping, and my paranoid brain is slightly concerned...what if they think I'm selling it on the black market? What if the FBI turn up and kick my door down???

After the memo about Sept increase I ordered a few so got 4 pens in 3w in aug via iq - ouch - pharmoulous - juniper

so don’t worry

Motnight · 16/09/2025 18:42

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne best of luck!

Def be interested in how you do

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 16/09/2025 18:51

Ooh, and I got so many referrals for CheqUp that my next Wegovy pen from them will only cost me £10.

£10! So I hope it works!

Oooooo good luck @TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne, you can be our Guinea pig 🐹. I’m definitely considering it for maintenance, I think I’m at a similar weight as you, I’d like to get another stone off then maintain with wegovy. I’m rooting for you!

Lds1 · 17/09/2025 07:11

Unless I have some sudden weight loss today, I won't have lost anything tomorrow when I officially weigh. I was hoping to lose still especially as it seemed to be going well the last 2 weeks. I don't even think it's possible to eat less or better than what I am really and keep it balanced nutritionally.

TragicMuse · 17/09/2025 07:32

So Disappointing when that happens isn’t it @Lds1 fingers crossed for you.

TragicMuse · 17/09/2025 07:39

Week 29, 7.5mg

SW 19st 4lbs (Jan 2025, pre-MJ)
SW on MJ 18st 11.5lbs (1 Mar 2025)
CW 14st 11.25lbs
Loss this week 2.25lb
Total loss 62.75lbs

I’m pleased with that. It’s felt like an ok week, there have been meals out but I managed it all within what I allow myself.

Yesterday a colleague brought cake for her birthday. I had just eaten the face of a mini Colin caterpillar cake as I added the calories to nutracheck and decided not to eat the rest! It would have left me with under 400 for supper! So I brought it home for the teen instead. It felt like an easy decision too.

Today I’m wearing some very old favourite cords and a top I made years ago in one of my favourite fabrics. I feel GOOD!!

Onwards and downwards losers!

FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden · 17/09/2025 07:46

I still find after a couple of weeks of loss I often have a week where it sts. I'm also not losing at the rate I was the first 6months which is to be expected - and still not bad when I look at it over a month.

Yay for new thread. I'm just catching up!

I'm still struggling with sulphur burps. And tiredness. Im a bit concerned about undereating and not getting enough nutrition and wondering if that's affecting me. I'm still eating - and similar to many on this thread I think - just worried it might not be enough for me. I also don't want to trash my metabolism but I still don't really understan that.

I'm a teacher like a few on here when I was reading up and yes I can sit on the floor with ease now (yay!). I noticed people aren't "checking" I'm okay when I was at a recent first aid training course and we had to get on the floor which made me happy as they used to.

I am though exhausted and overwhelmed. My workload is much bigger this term and I'm behind with some work already and I got up early today to do it and just couldn't.

I used to love swimming and that's something I'd love to go back to. I haven't even been doing the daily walks I was doing last term. I'm just about keeping up with the 20mins a day Rebelfit programme I'm doing but today was weights and some moves I need to practice and couldn't face it before work.

The issue is the workload is unsustainable but I don't feel I've got enough energy to "power through" or stay up and just get things done like I used to.

I'm almost full time and finding it hard. I need some space in the week to just catch up with myself.

But weight loss wise I'm 100.1kg!!! Nearly under 100. And I'm at the 6stone mark so really pleased.

Id also noticed though that I could lose another 3 stone and still be eligible to START weight loss jabs at bmi 27 😬.

Oh my question is - how long can you levae it between ordering. I think I've asked something like this before but lost where I'd got to. So say with Medino - can I order a 15 and take 9/10 from it and order again in 7 weeks or will they want me to start from the beginning again?

I don't want to properly stockpile as I'll be on it forever so will just need to keep ordering.

PearlsPearl · 17/09/2025 09:09

I can’t stop eating 😞 so much food noise, so little strength to ignore it. This next few weeks is going to be a real test for me, I’m already finding it so tough. Can’t wait to restart.

Reginaphalangeeeee · 17/09/2025 09:28

Yes @eibbed999 and @Blondeshavemorefun I also have 2 suppliers right now. Shemed were being so slow and lost a delivery which took time to replace that I jumped on a deal with Numan. The referral code given me my next pen at £169 too so I think will order that but now have my current pen and 2 others in waiting that it seems strange to order another! Worried I’ll loose the deal if don’t take it now.
but by using golden dose that’s me til Christmas bought up so would a long pause mean I can’t get it in same prescription strength again as I will be hunting to find a good January deal.

@PearlsPearl I’m sorry you are feeling like this.
Try to sit with the feelings and fill your self with nourishing food and lots and lots of fluids.
This colder weather helping me drink my body weight in tea right now, so if nothing else… hydrated and lots more steps going back and forth to the toilet!

Reginaphalangeeeee · 17/09/2025 09:32

@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGardenI am really struggling with my work load too. I am behind and for some things my head is so far down in the sand I can’t look up with out panic. Overwhelmed but flattened energy too.

No solutions, just solidarity!

I also have enough until Christmas. I think I'll use my discount code with Medino to get one more and than leave it until January. I think there will be some deals then, and I need to shake the fear of not being able to access it again. I will still be very obese indeed by then and will not get rejected by a new supplier.

TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne · 17/09/2025 09:49

@FatsiaJaponicaInTheGarden
My experience with Medino is that they give you between 5 - 6 weeks' latitude with regard to reordering.
They'll send you a series of emails to remind you.

If you're unsure, do phone them and speak to Alessandro (head pharmacist) because he's always very helpful.

@TragicMuse you're doing do well!

@Lds1 don't worry about having a static week. It's normal.

I have enough to last me until December. I've taken screenshot of the letter my supper (zava) sent to my GP for each order - it includes the date of prescription and pen prescribed so I hope that with any new supplier/zava after a long break of not ordering for a few months I can show that I had a little stock pile and should be able to order the strength I need.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/09/2025 11:50

Had a really long chat with Dr Amel from pharmolous Very helpful

She said I had done really well to lose almost 7s and doing the long game of slowly lowering which should help me in the long run

They don't advise to just stop as hunger will come back and likely to gain but also said they understand it's a financial thing esp with the price hike

They dont do discounts and just have a price for each dose and free p&p

Confirmed happy to use them even if I don't order for a few months as long as can show proof been using /buying elsewhere

They will support maintenance to a healthy bmi 20 but if get too low then will stop

If stop mj have a year to get back on if start gaining from the last order with them and then would start 2.5

Happy to take on new customers as long if in healthy bmi and proof have been on mj

Any queries pop them an email or go to their chat section on website

They do seem helpful and one of the lowest prices - which they are not changing. So these are set in stone and as I said previously free p&p - which arrived the next day

2.5 - 139.99
5 - 164.99
7.5 - 214.99
10 - 239.99
12.5 - 259.99
15 - 274.99

They can't agree with micro dosing 😉 as no trials but said obv some do it as buy a 10 but use it for over the 5w and don't order for 8+w then come back , so they know people do do it - just they can't agree with it

She did ask why I went up a dose monthly and I said as that's what the supplier I was with said - plus they say on go up monthly of no side effects

She said they say if losing weight and all fine and have suppression to stay on the dose

I did say I didn't really get suppression and even on 15 ate 3 meals a day but obv do eat less or wouldn't have lost almost 7s
