It's a toothbrush holder that converts into two bathroom cups. Dual purpose for when we're travelling (that's my excuse anyway).

I take any I gave out thr box (flatten and save thr box, if future suppliers want to see them) and store them all together in this, in the fridge.

I felt for her till she started bragging about all three of her pens, and when someone said it probably wasn’t the best time, she started posting about how mean everyone was. She’s been posting for days about her pens apparently

But has it been? I imagine that overall they have made a killing.

I think it will be interesting to see what happens in Sept/Oct when lots of people won't need to place orders for a while as they will be using up their stashes. Will the pharmacies know that's what's happening and hold their nerve or will there be a flurry of offers and incentives?

Aye, great. Was die my usual monthly order with MedExpress tomorrow (15mg, started a year ago, still got 15kg to lose) and I get the two emails tonight; 1. Please don't be silly, people and make sure you are sticking to guidance and 2. Guess what? We've run out of 15mg and don't know when they will be back in stock. Fucking brilliant.

Without picking on an individual pharmacy it's really interesting how Oushk have been so personality driven. It looks like Hira has always been the face of their businesses as their previous venture was actually called Hira Bazaar. It's not an approach that would appeal to me but it obviously works. I can't comment on their professionalism but the whole fmcg- isation of prescription drugs makes me uncomfortable

I’m not on there to witness the carnage, but having had a look at their SM (that ‘Karen’ post 😬) I feel like she’s positioned herself as ultra ‘relatable’ and parasocial as a money-grabbing marketing strategy. They’re not SM-naive by any means.

Circle is a host for forums. Different companies have their own chat forums on Circle.

I’m new to Mounjaro - I ordered my second pen last week. I’ve been really shocked at what I’ve seen over the last week. I thought as this was a prescription drug it was a strict and regulated market but it seems to be a complete free for all. There should be no place for pharmacies dispensing prescription drugs to be using brand ambassadors.

Would’ve been nice for there to be a heads up!

Maybe moaning on here works.... just had the RM update that they should be delivering to me tomorrow.

It’s the British approach to medicine. If you need a medicine it’s available to you (historically free via your Dr etc) and if upo don’t need it you won’t be trying to acquire it.

unlike the US we are not subjected to advertising of medication because there’s no need. We don’t expect choice, or to be making our own decisions on medication. It’s done via the nhs.

the whole parasocial marketing of mounjaro is a huge departure in the way ‘we do medicine’.

Anyway. I’ve chilled and refused to join in the hysteria and I’ve just taken my final remaining dose. So that’s me out. I’ve had my usual order from my usual provider cancelled and I can’t see any other pharmacy with stock of 15mg who’s turning around new customer orders within a week so I’m a bit fucked now.

I'm a bit sick of it too. Feel a bit better now I have a pen for my next injection. But I'm.also uneasy at how it's fallen apart so fast with no warning.
