For anyone who would like a calmer place to share support and information about the price increases.

Yeah I think I understand the tendency towards panic -definitely felt it myself when the news came out. Managed to keep a lid on it though, as best as I could. Tried to remain mindful that, for some people, any price hike at all would mean the end and I wouldn't help those people by repeatedly hitting the 'we're all fucked now!' klaxon.

Yep, still doing it on here and I'd put money on them causing mayhem on FB and Circle too. Loving the drama.

It seems like there have been multiple pharmacies that sold far, far too much stock! I wonder if it’s them, or if it’s the supplier that’s capped orders.

Or they’ve cancelled orders with stock and the knowledge that people will order them when the prices go up eg MMP capping people within three weeks of their previous order. That doesn’t give much leeway for delays and with the supply issues affecting so many it’s quite late for a repeat order at the moment, I’d say.

I’ve seen Pharmacy2u have been cancelling orders as well as they’ve decided previous customers had to have ordered within the last 6 months.

I think a lot have over sold, and I think a lot will have £££ in their eyes over the new prices for old stock. Which is I guess maybe why Lilly has stopped wholesalers delivering stock.

I kind of hope demand drops off a cliff in September and profits go down across the board because that’s the only way anything will improve.

I keep in the fridge all the time & have now moved them from the top of the door recently, which i did think was best as not too cold but within range, but apparently the temp can possibly fluctuate too much with the opening/closing, which makes sense I guess!
Now on the next to top shelf, still in box after opening, with a fridge thermometer nearby.

Someone’s called out her memes and quotes today (it wasn’t me) which has caused quite a discussion, she does post far too many, but I think she’s a bit upset, I don’t think reading the room is her strong point and so many people are generally pissed off, they aren’t helping!

Yes I saw - did feel rather sorry for her, I must say. I might roll my eyes but don't think I'd actually say anything.

Although I did smile a bit at the person who accused her of 'treating this place like her own personal blog'.

I’ve had a couple of friends contact me today as they had no idea of the changes to price and the chaos that has happened in the last week. They went to do their normal orders and went what’s going on? They called me as I was the first person they ever knew who took it.

I wish I’d been living blissfully unaware. Also shows it depends on what you look for.

MMP were out of stock for 15 when I tried to order just before the price increase. Decided to come it but still have a pen as backup. Had a bit of a panic as my weight quickly went up a couple of pounds but I think that is the usual fluctuations over the week.

Hoping I do ok without it but time will tell. Part of going on it was because my rheumatologist suggested it and I hoped it may help with the inflammation but sadly didn’t.

I know, I roll my eyes and scroll on, yes I did mention her on here as an example but I wouldn’t have said anything on Circle, or tried to make her feel bad.

I'm also quite taken back at the reaction to the guy who posted a fairly inoffensive post about shopping around pharmacies. Several posters are reacting like he just suggested taking a shit on Oushk's reception desk and wiping it off with a kitten.

There’s two posters who treated both groups as a blog and have done the same on circle.

I’ve muted it all now. I don’t even know why I’m engaging on anything.

I realise posting here is almost the same. 😂 Let’s just hope it resolves. Whatever that looks like.

It's all very cringe - i think some of the loops from the FB group have realised that it's a place they can let off steam, say what ever they want, tell everyone in excruciating detail about the unique and very special issues with their order, and not be blocked or moderated. I seem to have had nearly daily emails from oushk, BTW, so not sure why so many are so uninformed.

@FlappyFish I sort of envy them - I'm not sure that all this angst has achieved anything!

Well I’ve just breathed a sigh of relief as my order with Pharmacy 2U has just been approved. I placed the order on Saturday and am a repeat customer so figured it’d be ok but was getting a bit twitchy in case they were out of stock. All is well though. Whew.

Email from Medicine Marketplace to say if I’ve had an order confirmation then stock should be allocated to me, but then there’s lots of small print about automatic refunds so who knows.

Order placed on Friday and I’ve sent multiple bits of information since then but no firm update. I’m a bit jittery but I guess what will be will be.

No problem. As you say, we were all in a bit of a panic but it was extraordinary how much it escalated. I described the vibe over on another thread as “the last chopper out of Vietnam”. It’s also given me another really brutal insight (after COVID days) into what would happen here if we were subjected to a US-style healthcare system.

Yes, it was utterly mad. It's amazing the fine line that separated us from anarchy tbh.

I’ve had the same email and same timescales, I’m hoping everything is okay or they’d have cancelled by now, maybe!
