Hoping the lovely bunch of May starters thread 3 finds this new thread. Can't believe we are on 4 in the space of couple of weeks.

Thread 3 is now full so can't post the link for the new one there.

Checking in with slight name change. Currently at gym, lifting.

tostaky · 21/06/2025 15:31

Marking my spot, im still lethargic following that gym workout this morning…

SutekhsEars · 21/06/2025 15:33

I had a minor panic when I couldn't find thread #4 earlier! And relax ....

HKG · 21/06/2025 15:34

Also here to mark the new thread - day three lying down after going up to 5mg. Really hope it’s worth it! I read somewhere that it helps stimulate metabolism too. Hope that’s true!

Gingercar · 21/06/2025 15:44

Checking in too. With a name change (was fastsro-something or other).

@HKG did you have side effects on 2.5? I took 4 this week but haven’t had any issues at all.

Mounjour · 21/06/2025 15:52

@HKG what's actually keeping you laid up?

Apprenante · 21/06/2025 16:12

Found you!

I'm absolutely zonked today. Maybe it's just the weather but I have a tendency to blame everything on MJ.

I injected 3.75 for the fourth time yesterday so I don't think it's the higher dose that's doing it. But OTOH Shotsy does show that the level goes up on the second day ... Whatever, I'm giving in to the lethargy.

@HKG hope you feel better soon.

SaintAgatha · 21/06/2025 16:14

Hello all! Just placemarking. Going up to 5mg this evening, hoping it all goes smoothly. Have had a dream on 2.5mg.

SussexLass87 · 21/06/2025 16:22

Hello comrades....checking in. Thanks for the new thread!

How I am coping in this weather...

Gingercar · 21/06/2025 16:37

It annoys me that list though, most of the things I am familiar with on it weigh loads different. Ie a welsh pony, even a small one, would weigh nearly double that. I think we should make up our own list.

TreesOfGreen99 · 21/06/2025 17:08

Checking in, thanks for the new thread.

MyScaredCat · 21/06/2025 18:17

Well I feel for everyone who SE now.
i went up to 3.75 on Wednesday morning.
had awful sulphur burps Thursday and Friday.
nausea yesterday.
never been so exhausted.
then topped of with diarrhoea today
🫣
feel bit better tonight. Hoping I wake up ok tomorrow and these things don’t come back as strong on Wednesday when I jab again

HKG · 21/06/2025 18:18

@Gingercar I reacted badly to the very first shot too - SE were severe D&V for two days so I was kind of expecting it with this step up!

@Mounjour thanks for asking! It’s pure exhaustion, bad sleep since the jab and I’m just wiped out. Nauseous but luckily no ‘expelling’ of anything yet! 🤐

@Apprenante thank you!

Apprenante · 21/06/2025 18:22

@MyScaredCat If you're getting good suppression have you considered jabbing a day - or even two days - late? That would give your body a chance to settle down.
NB I have no medical knowledge at all

MyScaredCat · 21/06/2025 18:42

I’ll see how I go as I don’t jab until Wednesday morning.
i moved up to 3.75 as I had done 7 weeks on 2.5 and wasn’t feeling it at all the last 2.
i ordered a 5mg pen on Thursday which came today.
i have enough in my current pen to do 1 more 3.75. I’ll definitely be sticking to 3.75 with the new pen. Scared to move up!

Gingercar · 21/06/2025 18:54

I can understand that. Perhaps stick at 3.75 for a few weeks?

Mounjour · 21/06/2025 19:06

And check in with your prescriber. What do they recommend?

Flowers @HKG that really sounds rubbish. I hope you feel better very soon.

A welsh section A falls within the weight limit of 400 lbs, but most are heavier than that.

Our section A was a lot heavier. She was a bit portly though.

Mine was just under 500lbs but would have liked to have been heavier!

SaintAgatha · 21/06/2025 19:30

@gingercarI’ll take any shade of Welsh pony! 😅 But I take your point.

DidILeaveTheGasOn · 21/06/2025 19:34

Super busy day with the kids and a big event in the village. Before we set out we had mango, coconut and chilli chicken with salad, it was glorious. I've been finding salads a bit samey lately but this was to die for. Low calorie and 32g of protein!

https://www.sainsburys.co.uk/gol-ui/product/sainsburys-mango-coconut-chilli-british-chicken-breast-fillets-315g

We eat so well now, it's nuts that this is a calorie deficit diet. I feel a big shift in my mentality from the 90s diet culture of carbohydrates (special k cereal, rice cakes) to a much better approach of great protein, fruit and veggies, with carbs twice a day (but not in the evening).
But, that's with MJ on board. I wonder if I'd be content with these meals without it.

GeraniumRoseblush · 21/06/2025 19:49

Checking into the new thread. Am running around like a headless chicken atm with work and weight continues to drop at a snail's pace. But at least its going down again after zilch last week!
SW 11'12
CW 11'0
12lbs after 7 weeks, baby steps I go! I so wanted to get into the 10 stone bracket for weigh-in day but hey ho, hopefully next week 🤞
Well done to everyone having good losses, and keep on keeping on to those stalled or who are also members of the plodders club! We all got this! 👊

Seahorsesplendour · 21/06/2025 20:25
