Thank you for allowing me to rant, share our ups and downs. Our group blows my mind of how we are so supportive of each other.
Some of us are now hitting the 12 week mark, some of us are nearly at their goal, some halfway and some still have a way to go, but we are all losing even if it’s half a pound a week. We have all come so far and are making a difference to our health.

Only had them once and good old gaviscon double action liquid helped and cleared them overnight.

Lots to catch up on!
I've had about 4 days of sickness where I don't manage to keep anything down or whatever stays down is very little. So I last injected the Saturday before I went away
So 10 days ago now.
I lost 2 kg during my holiday and I've weighed myself again tonight with a further 1kg loss
So 3kg since Friday if you will.
I'm gobsmacked

It could be the dose is too high for me but its working in every other aspect
And I didn't want to start counting clicks with lower doses
I haven't injected in 11 days now, I only had one day of sickness
But yeah struggling with sickness for 3-4 days after injecting just isn't healthy
Especially as I've started a new job and need to be present
I'll see how the rest of the week goes before deciding what to do as I still have a pen of 7.5 unopened

Jab and weigh day today. After weighing in at 98.4kg on Sunday after my holiday. Today weighed in at 97.2kg. Got one dose of 10mg left then thinking of going up to 12mg after that. Will see how the next week goes, but been very hungry the last few days.

im in a similar situation wanted to stay on 10mg at least 8 weeks and it remains very strong throughout until 2 days before jab where im starving and feel like i eat everything in my way . Not had any SE on 10mg though and still works 5 days. Taking my 4th dose today and will decide over the weekend what I will do (a bit last minute but last two jabs has been delivered in 3 days)

with 3st to go I was hoping to do 2x10, 2x12.5, 3x15 pens to reach goal 🤞🏻

Frustrating isn’t it? Was hoping to stay on 10mg for a while too. Hopefully we can stay on 12.5mg a while longer. I also have another 3st to lose. I’m sure we’ll get there. Keep thinking by this time next year, we’ll be in maintenance and that keeps me going 😊

Hi all not managed to weigh officially today as I would usually on a weds or Thursday due to kids being off school so out of routine, but our home scales say 12.7 so hopefully that's true as that would be a 2 pound loss this week but I only use the boots scales in-store as my official weigh results.

I think I said but I did 5.83 dose last week (was hoping for 6.25 but got the maths wrong!) it seems to be working better than the 5mg. I don't know what dose to do this week, another 5.83, go to 7.5 or somewhere in-between. I'm trying to stay on as low doses as long as possible, partly for cost and partly as I've got such a long way to go I don't want to race up to 15, still have a few stone to lose and have nowhere higher to go if that makes sense.

@Fatmumslim01 fingers crossed for the 2lb loss being true. Can't help you with dose as still on 2.5.

But hit the 40lb total today 🎉🎉🎉🎉. That's massive. School holidays now so hopefully being more active may help me along a bit more. 2lb to go to 3 stone - so nearly there.

Back from holiday and I stayed the SAME!

I can’t quite believe it. I ate so much more than I usually do and often fancied fruit rather than stodge etc so it seems there must have been MJ in my system.

so delighted and planning for. Whoosh next week 🙏🏼😁

@Fatmumslim01 i have been on 7.5 for three months and find it is working well. I’m going to stay here another month. I use medicine marketplace and 7.5 and 10 are only £139, much cheaper than my previous pharmacy.

I had a lot of ‘bobbing’ on the scales this week and my weight finally settled on 1lb off.
Sw: 17st 4
CW: 15 st 5
TW: 11st

still a long way to go but I look and feel so much better, I want to wear nice clothes and take care over my appearance which I haven’t wanted to for a long time. I’ve joined the gym, and started c25k. I’m feeling better

also only 1lb away from that 2st - that needs to hurry up now!!

@Fatmumslim01 I went properly up to 7.5 this week (monday) I split the first dose because of shuffling jab days. I'm glad I have - it was definitely time and seems ot have turbocharged things a bit after a sluggish last couple of weeks on 5.

@Spondoolie not gaining on hols while still enjoying yourself is such a win, good stuff.

@tryingtobesogood that's great about joining a gym and C25K. I'm still working with my home weights and walking a lot but at some point I know I need to up my game.

Hi all decided to stay on 10 mg for next pen as decided to switch provider

was with ZAVA but they have stopped discount codes for recurrent orders plus I was planing to switch around 30 bmi anyway to prep for maintainse (currently 31.7)

decided to go with Pillsorted and saved 50£! On the pen by switching (40£ discount code so pen was 10£ cheaper) plus there is 25£ codes for reorders.

was a lot more asked though like picture of ID and a video me stating date,dob , hight weight and then stepping on the scale plus a 360 full length video . Dr approved 1 hour later and jab expected tomorrow which also much quicker than ZAVA and Asda

just shows it’s worth shopping around

Weekly weigh in for me. I believe this is my 18th week. First gain for me of 0.2 kilos. I've been away for the weekend and while I was away absolutely fine it was when I came back and I was tired ending up getting a takeaway and then finishing it the next day and just reaching for the sugar again. I had been taking 3.75 every 6 days for 4 weeks. Felt ready to move up last week but didn't want it to coincide with being away so I waited. Going to take the full 5 on Sunday. I've also not been getting notifications for this thread so I've missed loads!

Anyone else a bit fed up? I’m not hungry but I’m bored of thinking about what I should/shouldnt be eating (like no red meat as it will upset tummy, don’t eat too many eggs as you’ll end up not being able to ‘go’, must up the protein) etc etc. Think I’m ready for a change of routine or something! Must stick to it though as it is working, over 3.5 stone lost but still around 1.5st to go. Sigh.

I eat normal most days now just very small portions

From my plate I focus on eating protein first then veg and lastly carbs but have stopped the meal planning based on that

just like you I got bored of eating the same every day and just decided to eat what family eats also has reduced my shopping bill

I have eaten steaks eggs carbs occasional takeaway and not reacted in any form from eating any specific foods (I’m on 10 mg)

Steak almost killed me off last time I had it (from both ends I was soooo ill!) and lamb isn’t great for me either. I am ok with ham 😂. I’m only on 5mg as I’m still consistently losing and the first couple weeks on 5 were ROUGH so am avoiding going up until I stop losing consistently. If I have too many eggs I can’t ‘go’ (which has been a problem throughout with constipation) so have to make sure I have enough fibre, have plenty of water etc. I think I’m just fed up and ready for a holiday, luckily I do go on hols in 10 days so I think I’m going to not jab just before (I’ll jab Monday/tuesday) next week (fly on sat) and not take it with me so I can have a week of ‘normal’ eating (it’ll be hot so won’t eat as much as I would normally anyway!), just so I can have all the food groups I’ve missed out on (particularly steak 😂)

I’m sorry to hear that , I barely had any issues it actually has reduced SE when moving up doses . Glad 5mg works for you , wish it did for me but stalled on the second 5mg pen and had to move up

you will still have MJ in system during your hols (about 50%) so be careful with the steak but deffo treat yourself and try ☺️

I ate whatever was there on holiday last week and had a slightly dodgy tum on one morning and that was it.

I think we have to get our heads in a place where we eat smaller and well, but not constantly thinking about it.

i mainly eat now according to the HBD diet which is mainly protein

Hmm. I have sulphur burps this morning! Haven’t had them for months. Been on 7.5mg for 3 if not 4 pens now. Must be because I missed a week!

Yeah I know there will be still some in my system but hopeful I can have a very small portion of steak and enjoy it towards the end of the holiday 😂. Thank you x

Morning all, I’m very happy to say that all weight gained on holiday has gone and I haven’t really done much different to usual, so clearly wasn’t fat gained.

I took my jab early and missed a week when i went on holiday in June, as I had been suffering with quite bad side effects that I didn't want to spoil the holiday. It was great, I still could only eat smaller portions but I was able to eat a wider range of food and even have some wine. I needed the break as the food suppression before I went was brutal. I only put on 2lb in 2 weeks of eating in hotels and eating out and having alcohol every day. I was so pleased with that.

Today I got up super early and went to a 7.30 spin class at the gym. I've had a mental block around exercise for ages and it felt so good to finally push through it. I was thinking about a personal trainer to help but realised that when I am in the zone I can motivate myself really well. As my DH said, why not save the money I would spend on a PT to buy new clothes instead!!
