Thank you for allowing me to rant, share our ups and downs. Our group blows my mind of how we are so supportive of each other.
Some of us are now hitting the 12 week mark, some of us are nearly at their goal, some halfway and some still have a way to go, but we are all losing even if it’s half a pound a week. We have all come so far and are making a difference to our health.

Hi all, not been on for a few days.

Weigh day for me and I'm pleased to say I've broken my 2 weeks stall and lost 3 pounds! So I'm only 2 pound away from a 2 stone loss which is fantastic. Although as someone said on here we are going into summer holiday territory so I'm not expecting massive losses over the summer but thats ok.

I've been on 5mg for 11 weeks now and definitely feel it's time to move up to 7.5 but I've still got 3 doses left of my 5mg and also would prefer to go up to 6.25 as a half way point. Does anyone know how much I would need to syringe out of a 5mg pen to get 6.25mg or thereabouts? I know I wont get the 3 remaining doses out of it then aswell

Hi, when I took more from a pen I did one full dose and then half a dose, I used a second needle head and injected in a different place. So counted 30 clicks. I think but i maybe wrong so get someone else to double check it will be 0.9, as will be full dose for 0.6 plus half a dose. An alternative you could do is inject at day 5 or 6, but this depends on your reasons why you want to go up if it's not working at all or just wearing off earlier.

@GameOfJones - exactly, why feel so cross over half a pound or even 2 pounds when we have actually moved in to the stones loss? I keep having to have a word with myself!

@Bipaloss and @GiveMeWordGames Thank you! It has been closer to 5 months for me as I started on the last day of Feb but it is certainly more than I have ever been able to lose before. Of course I wish I had never gone up so high in the first place, but I need to let that go now.

@tryingtobesogood @Ingangoolie @Puddingpiper - I have also been doing post wee pre cuppa but it was that post wee then run then weigh again that I wasn't sure about. So on the post sleep wee I was almost a pound heavier than the post run weight. I do like the idea that you can't get a false lower number. I think i am maybe scared that having that lower number means that I am more likely to be up again tomorrow and that will piss me off. Illogical? Me?

Back to some mini goals. I want to nail that 4 stone loss and stay there for at least a couple of days so I believe it can stick. That will depend on what tomorrow morning says. The way things have been going recently then i am likely to bounce and dance around a new weight for a few days. Then I want to get to 13st2lb because I remember being there for a Christening 18 years ago. Random but important. Then the thought of seeing a 12 actually blows my mind!

Oh god yes you are right. It would be a quarter so 15 clicks or 7.25 I think?

So glad that everyone is thinking the same as me! I usually jab on a Sunday but had to wait until today for various reasons.
Maybe it was in my mind, but I was hungrier yesterday for sure.
I’ve also gone up 1 lb after a busy weekend which worried me, but it’s very reassuring to read everyone’s stories.

btw - I moved to oushk, and my delivery came today. It looked like a clothing delivery too, not obvious at all.
I’ve started a 5mg pen today and have one more 5 banked in the fridge before I start the 2.5.
I am considering moving down to 3.75 in the next few weeks too.

@needtolose70lb I weigh daily after a week as soon as I wake up. I only document losses because that shows a lovely trend that keeps me motivated.

I went out last night with some colleagues I don’t see very often. They all said nice things and were teasing me about my job being easy because I am obviously in the gym all the time ❤️

19.8kg down and it is still amazing me that I am no longer fat. Not quite where I want to be . The difference is insane though 💪🏼

I can’t even find a really good before photo that covers it because I was afraid of the camera for more than a selfie.

i know this is just fishing but after more 40 years of thinking I was huge (even when I wasn’t this is MASSIVE)

Total loss of 7.6 kilos in 17 weeks. I'm sticking to 3.75 from a 5mg pen and injecting every 6 days as I do still get so tired so don't want to up just yet but felt I was looking for food again.

I FORGOT TO JAB!!

Came on holiday on Tuesday and was in such a flap on Monday getting ready, i totally forgot to jab. Wish me strength! Not feeling hungry yet. Half board rather than all inclusive so thats a bonus at least!

also left pen in the fridge for house sitters to fjnd! Argh

@Spondoolie you will be ok, there is still plenty in your system, just try and think really hard before eating and keep pausing to see if you are full.

@Spondoolie oh no, hang in there! That sounds like a stressful start of your holiday. Are you on a high dose? If so, you should still have some of the medication in your system. If you’re on a low dose though you can think of it as dipping your toe in the maintenance life. We’re all here rooting for you!

Also note to self: don’t forget to jab on Saturday (leaving at 6am for the flight with two young children… maybe it’s a better idea to jab the night before…)

i’m on 7.5mg and do actually feel as though I have some in my system as no food noise or hunger at all

@Spondoolie 3 stone is a huge accomplishment! Bet you’re feeling amazing. I’ve lost half that but I still consider it a good result (given how low impact it had on my life, i.e. how I am not constantly battling with my mind and body).

Definitely make sure you get some nice posed photos to celebrate!

I started 21/3 and im now 3 stone down! around 8 pounds to being in overweight category and initial goal is to get to 11 stone. So 2 stone 11 to go.... I can definitely tell now, but it took a long time to see it. NSV get upstairs without getting out of breath, tie shoe laces easily, not having to hide as much behind baggy clothes 😊 ill read upthread to catch up

Continuing to maintain really well, a lb or two up and down but that's ok, I'm below goal today. It's been surprisingly easy so far, even with dropping the second dose so titrating down to 5mg. Yes I'm getting hungrier, but it's at the right times. I don't get that overfull feeling as much, but my mind has I think learned when to stop eating, and my portion sizes are good, with good balance, and "treats" are definitely not being used to comfort eat anymore even when stressed, although are featuring more often than when I was trying to lose.

We'll see - so far I'm really surprised at how easy this part is, but we'll see what happens as I titrate down more, and extend periods between jabs.

I feel like I’m stalling, although this is a weight I hovered around naturally for a few years around the turn of the century so I’m hoping I’ll get beyond it soon.

To motivate myself, I did a second MeThreeSixty scan and it was really interesting to compare the results. I started my weight loss last November (216.5lbs) but didn’t measure then because I’d not heard of the app. When I started on Mounjaro on 1 March (210lbs) a number of you mentioned it and I thought that would be a good idea but didn’t do anything about it. At the beginning of May (195lbs) I finally did it. Today, after being inspired to dig out my 30 Day Shred and do a couple of levels, I got my comparison pictures at 185lbs and I wish I’d done it on day one.

Even though there’s only 10lbs between the two pictures, I can see a real difference. My belly is a real sticking point; it just doesn’t seem to be getting smaller at the same rate as the rest of me ☹️ My arms however have shrunk 2 inches after a lot of dumbbell exercises and push-ups. I’m hoping that my jiggly batwings and loose skin will improve if I keep it up.

It also looks like I’ve lost between 6&7lbs of fat when I compare to my smart scales (sadly that means I’ve lost between 3&4lbs of muscle too though so I need to continue with the exercise and up the weights).

Good morning all

Well it’s week 20 for me and who knew that I would still be here. I did think at the beginning I would have lost the weight that I wanted to by now and I would be skipping into the sunset skinny and healthy after 16 weeks. I have changed my goal weight by half a stone more but I think early days me was a little silly to think this.

This week has been a little tough TOTM and so busy at work, that I have not been keeping my water intake up and I have been so tired that I have been going to bed earlier than normal.

I am away for the weekend this weekend with friends and I'm so looking forward to having a spa day and just chilling out.

@RuthEvershedforPM amazing photo, you look fantastic.

Well the scales now start with a 9 which is so exciting and to be in single figures is great and this is the 5th stone bracket I have been in.
