Thank you for allowing me to rant, share our ups and downs. Our group blows my mind of how we are so supportive of each other.
Some of us are now hitting the 12 week mark, some of us are nearly at their goal, some halfway and some still have a way to go, but we are all losing even if it’s half a pound a week. We have all come so far and are making a difference to our health.

Morning all - braved the scales and weight STS… so not currently lost any weight in July but was a food/alcohol heavy weekend and hopefully a good week will see something shift…
CW: 11st 4lbs… really want to see a 10st something!

GiveMeWordGames · 14/07/2025 09:38

Nice little whoosh for me after a slow couple of weeks.

At 16 weeks:

SW: 17st 4
CW: 14st 8.75
GW 11-12

So 3.25 down since last Monday, total loss of 37.25lbs.

Lollzi86 · 14/07/2025 10:12

Bit of a stall here again, just 0.6 pounds off this week but to be honest I was working away last week and the food/drinking wasn’t the best so I’m lucky to have had that (and that’s just from walking so many steps I think). Otherwise it could have been STS/gain. I’ll try and up water this week, up protein back to basics etc and hope this does the trick to have a whoosh next week.

Wk 17 weigh in and 3lbs off, 2.5lbs last week. So pleased with this after a few VERY slow up and down weeks.

SW 17st 2
CW 14st 5
GW 11st 7 (ish)

I've now lost over 15%of my body weight! And hit the 40lb mark.

@soupforbrains nice 👌
@Bipaloss that sounds painful!!

Week 18 here
GW 13st 3lb
CW 10st 11lb
GW 9st 7lb
2.5mg, bringing jab slowly back a few days the last few weeks to fit with being away soon.

It has subsided a lot with meds , the meds although is giving me loose bowel (even if dr gave me something for stomach also) . But having to eat to take meds (get nausea if I don’t eat enough) I expect this to be a gain week, next week is the week I never loose with it being week before TOM.
still gonna stick on another month on 10 mg as still have 3 st to loose but hopefully weight will shift once I recover and continues over the next 5-6 weeks until my hols.

Oh, wow, they really are! Glad you've had a good couple of weeks after slowness. Well done on hitting 40lbs!

Pre Start Weight: 15st 6.5lbs
Start Weight MJ: 15st 0lbs
Goal Weight: Undecided

Current Weight: 13st 4.7lbs
Loss on MJ: 1st 9.3lbs (23.3lbs)
Total loss: 2st 1.8lbs (29.8lbs)

Week 19: Gained 0.2lbs (2.5mg)

Disappointed to have gained a little this week but I’m putting it down to water weight due to the heat, exercising more, and a big barbecue yesterday 😋 Especially disappointing as I was at 13st 2.9lbs on Friday but, hey ho, fluctuations are normal.

Justformounjaro · 14/07/2025 21:39

I’m a secret jabber too. Only health care professionals know and even DP hasn’t twigged about the red “bites” on my stomach from gardening near the midgies 😀

Me too. Went for a drink with friends I hadn’t seen for ages and brushed it off with “yeah, some is intentional and some has been health issues” as I know they are very judgemental of WLI, and they accepted it and later told me I looked great.

Hey everyone 👋

Checking in...... feeling blah so haven't been around. Weigh in day today and down 1.2lb. this brings me to 39lb in total.

It's great but I'm struggling to get my calories low enough in relation to TDEE - 500. This number is about 1100 which, to me, is too low so I'm not getting there every day meaning my loss isn't that great.

Any suggestions?

All this talk of maintenance is just really depressing as I'm way off but I really want to be done by Christmas and the realisation is that I doubt I'll get there. Still have 36 lbs 😳😳😳😳 to normal BMI which is ridiculous so I'm thinking of just being in the middle of overweight category.

I'm nearly 3 stone down which is fabulous and I feel so much better so 4 stone gets me to a BMI of about 28. This is ok - as long as I can be a 12/14 with curves I'm going to be happy. My boobs are huge still so they still weigh a ton 😆😆😆

Puddingpiper · 15/07/2025 10:54

It is my first real test this week as I am away for the week at a holiday park. I have brought my jab for Friday but do not have my normal comfort blanket of weighing daily.

I am going to calorie count as best I can this week which I do not do normally. A big part of our holidays are normally eating out and foodie bits which I’m not as prepared to do this time.

northernlight20 · 15/07/2025 11:01

hi everyone, we’re on day 6 of our all inclusive family holiday. I feel confident and definitely not eating and drinking as much as I would normally on holiday but I can’t stop thinking about how much weight I may have gained. It’s completely taken over my mind and feels obsessive. Never had that before sigh!

LilyLondon · 15/07/2025 11:59

Morning all, just here to share the frustration of reaching a nice round milestone (-10kg in my case) and then bouncing up a tiny bit over it… and the weight continuing to fluctuate without rhyme or reason just sliiiiightly above that… feels so invalidating!

Anyway yesterday I had lots of cravings (seems to be the pattern for me that days 1 & 2 post jab I’m hungrier & snackish, makes me think that in reality I’m feeling a bit “off” and my body defaults to wanting treats as a way to feel better?), got some cheese puffs and they tasted like sand. Had a handful but eventually stopped because not even the cheesy flavour could mask the structure. Maybe this is it and I won’t enjoy UPF anymore, which would be so beneficial health-wise in the long run! Still craving the yummy cheese puffs tho 😆

So after all that “indulgence” yesterday I’m down again today, hope it’s not just dehydration (I’ll take a stall over the seemingly random ups&downs). Going on a week-long beach vacation to Spain this weekend and not taking the scales with me, so we’ll see how that goes…

I have a similar weight loss as you and only half way there (on second week of 10 mg)

I am also hoping by Christmas but I think February is starting to be more realistic as now loosing around half st per month (around 3 kg) meaning it will take me another 6-8 months to loose the other 3 st. In total 6 st loss which puts right at 25-26 bmi

im injured at the moment but planing to up excersize once recovered with 10k steps and weights daily. If that dosnt help il start doing cardio classes like spinning to compensate for eating too less but focusing more on protein

Sounds like you are doing brilliantly - not an expert at all - but perhaps doing some weights work might help to build muscle and thus metabolism?

i sit around 1100 calories too - and it doesn’t feel that bad to me - but I am pretty short so that might be the reason? Am also trying to eat more protein, so I feel full

RuthEvershedforPM · 15/07/2025 20:12

Also I should have responded to feeling ‘blah’ … sorry to hear it and can definitely relate. I am missing the comfort of treat food and definitely the relaxation benefits of alcohol.

Hope you find some mojo xx

needtolose70lb · 16/07/2025 08:54

Morning! Haven’t updated for a bit and wanted to ask a question and it’s good to read the updates as always. Sounds like a lot of us are having similar challenges with losses slowing by down and the heat/barbecues/holidays. That’s actually very reassuring!

Question first: if you weigh yourself before and after an early morning walk then which weight to you log for the day? The higher one beforehand because then you have more opportunity to lose over the week or the lower one afterwards because you have actually hit that lower mark?!

SW: 17st4lb
CW: 13st4.3 OR 13st3.4 depending on the answer to the above 😂
GW: was 12st4 but would like to see an 11.

It’s been pretty painful and slow as weight loss for me over the last month or so. I’m on 10mg and my weight has fluctuated within the same 2-3lb each week so dropping down to both those amounts above is a great feeling. I have had some challenging days with work socials and wine and food options. I did drink more than I have been doing and didn’t feel great for it so that definitely didn’t help.

It is weird how our expectations change. If I had been told at the end of Feb that I would be this weight in mid July I wouldn’t have believed it was possible and would have been ecstatic. My plan was to be at GW by NEXT summer to give me a chance to get there somehow. I have to remember that. But things were going so well and so quickly that I had dared to hope I’d be there by next month or the month after. Now things have slowed so much that I will be lucky to be there by Christmas and my summer holiday is likely to bounce me back up for a while as well.

Anyway, it’s amazing to be here. For god’s sake I am either almost at a 4 stone loss or just at that. That’s insane and incredible and I need to be proud of myself for doing it. I must keep giving myself a lecture about that. Be happy with where you are at and the rest will folllow. It’s a marathon and not a sprint.

ok. Good luck everyone!

tryingtobesogood · 16/07/2025 09:19

I would always take the lower weight, my logic is that you can’t have a ‘false’ lower weight but lots of things can lead to you weighing more.

Puddingpiper · 16/07/2025 09:46

@tryingtobesogood I am the same I weigh daily and record losses

GameOfJones · 16/07/2025 10:02

Exactly the same as a lot of people here I am feeling frustrated! I've put 1lb on this week which feels so annoying. But rationally I know my exercise was a lot less over the last week as it was so hot, plus I had a meal out and a BBQ over the weekend so it's not massively surprising this has been a gain week.

Like you @needtolose70lb I need to remember how far I've come. Last summer I was over 15 stone and so being annoyed at going from 11st 7lbs to 11st 8lbs does feel a bit silly. Because overall I'm so much happier and more confident.

I think it's because I've got holidays coming up and three trips away plus DDs being off school for the summer that I feel like I'm entering a weight gain danger zone. I probably need to make a plan as to what my meals are going to look like when I'm at home so that I can enjoy my holidays without going crazy and then get straight back to it if I do gain weight.

GiveMeWordGames · 16/07/2025 10:05

I weigh first thing, after going to the bathroom but before eating or drinking anything so, yes, my lowest possible weight for the day.

Also @needtolose70lb as someone with the same starting* and similar goal weight as you but who is still trying to nudge down to 3 stone off you are doing BRILLIANTLY. So consider yourself told. 😁

*I realise you probably began earlier in March than I did.

Ingangoolie · 16/07/2025 10:37

@tryingtobesogood first thing in morning after wee, before eat or drink anything

It is weird to have lost so much, over such a short time, so different to past weight loss. I keep thinking I’m still in the 11’s as the 10’s doesn’t seem real yet. I like looking at the Shotsy progress graph, helps me notice and believe just how much I’ve lost.

Bipaloss · 16/07/2025 16:08

@needtolose70lb i just want to say massive congrats to 4st that’s huge weightloss in 4 months. As like many I’m still battling to get to 3st (on 10mg)

I weigh daily first thing after a wee , it’s part of my routine now. However weightloss is tracked on what I way on my weigh in day which is Sundays (my lowest day is Friday , maintained till Sunday and gain Monday- Wednesday, I started jabbing on Sunday’s but now do Wednesday but weight fluctuation throughout the week has remained a similar pattern)

Fatmumslim01 · 16/07/2025 16:17

Hi all, not been on for a few days.

Weigh day for me and I'm pleased to say I've broken my 2 weeks stall and lost 3 pounds! So I'm only 2 pound away from a 2 stone loss which is fantastic. Although as someone said on here we are going into summer holiday territory so I'm not expecting massive losses over the summer but thats ok.

I've been on 5mg for 11 weeks now and definitely feel it's time to move up to 7.5 but I've still got 3 doses left of my 5mg and also would prefer to go up to 6.25 as a half way point. Does anyone know how much I would need to syringe out of a 5mg pen to get 6.25mg or thereabouts? I know I wont get the 3 remaining doses out of it then aswell

SW 21st march 14-7
CW 12-9
GW 11-7 as mini goal
