Hi!

Any interest in a Wegovy only thread? There are lots of threads but must of the posters seem to be on Mounjaro.

Be nice to have a smaller group of us who are on Wegovy so that the doses are more relevant?😊

I was going to do another 4 weeks on 0.25 but it started to wear off on the last week (either that or period hunger!)

2nd jab today. Lost 2lbs. Minimal side effects so happy days
I am a bit bored with healthy food though 😂

I'm just starting week 5, I lost 8.6lbs in weeks 1-4. The last two weeks total 2.5lbs lost, which certainly isn't massive but it is still downwards.

I’m up to week 6 jab tomorrow, and actually feeling hungrier since I started the next dose up 🥴 and still have constant food noise!

1 stone down though and I didn’t have much to loose anyway so will probably come off it in another few weeks and try and maintain

3rd jab today. 4lbs lost in 12 days (I weigh in on Saturdays)

Bit of a headache for a few days after the first dose. Fine on the second, will see how third dose goes.

Still feeling hungry though (albeit definitely not as hungry)

Feeling a bit disappointed I've not lost more / felt more suppression but I've ordered my 0.5mg pen despite urming and arhing about moving to MJ.

I took my third dose yesterday, usual nausea since.

I've reordered 0.25, since I've had nausea as a side effect and I don't feel ready to go up to 0.5.

My weight has dropped down again, I think the increase after my initial loss was just a blip. I'm out of the obese category with a BMI of 29.9.

I have just had my 3rd injection and the side effects have mostly been acid reflux/indigestion and some nausea. I am still craving food, so my food noise has not reduced. I have only lost 2 pounds so I’m feeling disappointed but I’m hoping the increased dose on the next round will be more effective, though I am nervous about the side effects.
Please can I ask when is the best time to order the next pen? Would it be too soon to order now as I still have my last dose for next Friday.

Also, I have not arranged anything to dispose of my small sharps bin. What method is everyone using? Can you take it to a pharmacy?

So sorry to hear about this. Did you have side effects on the lower dose?

I had no side effect in the lower dose, so this is very odd. Especially since it's not a big increase. I'm hoping I can sustain the better eating and portion control....

4lbs in 3 weeks and feeling somewhat defeated about it.

Last dose at 0.25 on Monday and I already have my 0.5 pen. Hoping for some more progress soon as I'm incredibly dejected.

@Birdy65 I already have a sharps bin as DC3 has a daily injection but they are pretty cheap on Amazon and your pharmacy should take them when full (you wont need a massive bin)

I was able to order my next pen on week 3 of the previous pen (I'm with Superdrug)

@OhDearWhyAmIFatterly sorry to hear about your side effects. I know MJ is generally considered to have more side effects but would that be a consideration?

Our bodies are so strange but anecdotally I faired much better on a medication with far more known side effects than I did on the main one people use with less side effects (** this isn't a weightloss medication but something I take for a pre-existing medical condition)

I'm not sure I want too. I'm really craving feeling normal. It's like the terrible morning sickness I had all over again!
If I can't sustain the good eating then I might try the lower dose again

I felt horrible on the 0.5 so I dropped down to about 0.35 using the counting clicks.

So sorry to hear about the sickness OhDearWhyAmIFatterly I quickly realised I was happy with the 0.25 so have stuck with it since I started 6 weeks ago. I do get a higher dose pen, though, as it now lasts longer! I'm up to 1mg in terms of pen prescription but it will now last 4x as long, so much cheaper. I counted the clicks up to the 1mg dose then divided by 4. I've put a little sharpie mark in the window so I know where to turn to. The meds are stamped 'best before 2027' so plenty of shelf life. I do hope this helps. I just noticed I was eating less and losing weight, so couldn't see the point of increasing the dose.

Another thing I've noticed is that I am eating like a normal person in terms of what I actually eat! I favour healthier foods, but the other day had an almond croissant. It was so delicious. It lasted me all afternoon, too. This really is a game changer. I think we have to be patient though as we all go at different rates. Good luck to all!

I'm also feeling quite a lot of nausea with it, but I'm now on lansoprazole and take Rennie's before bed, which helps.

So I've been on it since 12th January. I've got from 123kilos to 107.4!

I've managed to get back into my pre pregnancy clothes too ( I'm 10 months pp)

All is going well so far. I get the occasional upset stomach but I find this only happens when I'm not drinking enough water.

Really happy so far!

I'm pretty chuffed with this weight loss so far. After the first week, it's been very slow and steady, but I'm happy with that.

I definitely do better on the days I drink more water and move more.
